Android DP4 - Where is System UI Tuner? - Google Pixel XL Questions & Answers

Where can I find system UI tuner in DP4? Thank you.

It's hidden in android P, but if you are rooted you can download the latest Pixel Launcher Mods 1.2, which has a shortcut for it.

Thanks for responding. I use ADW launcher so I was hoping for another solution.

No problem for that, Pixel Launcher Mods is just an app, if you don't enable launcher-specific option (that wouldn't work just because you're using another launcher), you can use it for launch the systemui tuner and nothing else
Edit: you can grab this app and create a shortcut for it if you want to: https://www.reddit.com/r/GooglePixel/comments/8p50yo/simple_way_to_get_system_ui_tuner_on_android_p/

Launcher Default Issues 4.4.2 Beanstalk 4.4.205

I recently flashed this onto my device I have cleared every default I can find through the manage APPs settings. I have used root explorer to move and even delete the GoogleHome.APK but no matter what I do it always takes over as the default launcher. I wish to use Nova and even when I have it check the default launcher the Google Home launcher takes over. I know this is a miner bug but it is very annoying.

Pixel Launcher w/ swipe-right feature [no root]

You can now install a modded Pixel Launcher with swipe-right (Google Now-feed) feature on Moto G5 - no root access necessary!
App shortcuts won't work, tho (only Android 7.1.x).
Important: uninstall original Pixel Launcher first (if installed as user-app apk)! Download
Enjoy!

You mean Launcher3 is greyed out? You don't have to uninstall Launcher3, only Pixel Launcher IF installed as user app apk.

[GUIDE] Dark Mode and Google Pixel NAVIGATION GESTURES Global Rom 3/3s

Hello, I have created this guide to enable the google pixel gestures, I had the Chinese rom installed but I had to go back to the global rom since the play store stopped working and I tried to solve the problem and I am not successful, so I gave myself the task of customize my phone, sorry for the bad writing since I am not a native of English.
1-the first thing is to have root access
LINK: https://forum.xda-developers.com/red-magic-3/how-to/guide-flashing-twrp-granting-root-t3936148
2-Install QuickSwitch Module from Magisk Manager if you don't know how to use or install QuickSwitch you can see this video where it is explained how to do it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTaH4v1Nq2E
3-Download Launchair 2 and set it to default with QuickSwith can be (configured to your own liking)
you can use another launcher if you don't like the launchair 2 I also leave you the link
Launchair 2: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ch.deletescape.lawnchair.plah
One Plus Launcher (change multitasking) http://www.mediafire.com/file/h6w2li36d9yu36o/OnePlusLauncher.apk/file
Asus Zen Launcher http://www.mediafire.com/file/p66vwzm4h9dstdl/ZenUILauncher.apk/file
you can also use nova launcher but it doesn't work with QuickSwitch
so to make it work you have to select launchair by default in QuickSwitch and put nova launcher as default launcher in app settings and notifications, and with this it will work normally
4-once you have selected the default launcher you can activate the navigation gestures in Configuration --- System --- Gestures
5-Download Substratratum to be able to apply custom themes
LINK: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=projekt.substratum
6-apply theme I used this theme to customize it, it is paid but you can use some that are free you can find them without problem in play store
LINK:
pay option

screenshots
It works but whenever I switch on the game mode and drag down the notification panel it says system ui crashed
I lost interest at "1. The first thing is to have root access..."

Question Is there a fix for gestures when using a custom launcher?

So I tried using Nova Launcher and then disabling gestures but they don't work at all anymore. Every time I reboot my phone again, the home/back buttons come back again. Any fixes for that?
I use nova launcher and the gestures work perfectly, so only the gestures in the nova launcher. If you want to use native gestures, you must use the poco launcher.
In order to provide gestures properly the app needs to have privileged permissions. This means it needs to be a system app. A custom ROM (on a different phone) had an app called quick switch which changed the chosen launcher to a system app and then rebooting.
In short: try to use root and an app to make nova launcher a system app

I will try that and report back. I don't think it will fix the problem with rebooting+ home buttons appear again but at least making it usable without a third party app (using Fluid Navigation Gestures)
I found a way. For anybody wondering, here are two links with a tutorial on how to do it:

MIUI 12.0 - MIUI 12.0/12.1/12.2/12.5 STABLE RELEASE
Thank you... If the only way to make an App 'System' is to create a specific Magisk module ... I honestly don't know if I'm capable of it !! :-\ I made the Magisk module for you => MiRadio-v1.1-Magisk.zip ;) EDIT: Update to v1.1 -> Added "com.miui.fmservice" app

Maybe this can get stickied for people to have it idk.

Question [Solved] Floating windows in OOS12

Do someone have found a way to use floating windows without gaming mode ? I've searched any activities related to that using this, but I haven't found anything obvious.
EDIT : i might have an idea, replace stock quickstep with the one in the launcher of color os 12 using quickswitch. But i need an apk of color os 12 launcher that have a different package name as both launchers have the same package name.
EDIT2 : as both launchers have basically same set of features, i just decided to replace OOS 12's stock launcher by this from Realme UI and now i can enable floating windows by tapping 3 dots in recents menu or by doing a gesture from bottom of the sceen to the top. If someone could post here the launcher apk from oppo or oneplus(color os12), it would be awesome.
thanks working on c.44 any new update?
How ca wen open multiple windows?
How revert back?
