International model or AT&T LTE?

Looking at both. Which ones are you looking at.. be getting it out of contract. So that's a wash. Just thinking about if I really need a quad core phone.... anyone know is the rogers one LTE?

International
+ Teg3 is better in some benchmarks than S4
+ Teg3 will be better at gaming
+ No AT&T bloatware
+ Updates directly from HTC
+ You can use cheap HSPA plans
+ 32GB of storage vs. 16GB
- Teg3 battery life isn't so hot in all but at idle state where it wins
- Warranty work done by HTC so you'll be w/o a phone if you need service
- No ADH available except through SquareTrade
- No LTE if you care
And yes, Rogers and AT&T are both essentially the same phone which is the One XL.

Thanks for that... that was very helpful.. I think it comes to LTE for me... but I definitely like the 32gb and no bloatware and ability to tether internet connection on the international one.

you can also factor in the fact the international is now 619.99 with free shipping and ATT will charge 650 + tax.

Here's a helpful hint on buying an international version. Order it from Clove or Handtec in the UK. Expansys-USA is shipping Malaysian versions as may some others based in the U.S. like Negri. You want a UK/EU model. My Handtec phone arrived overnight whereas even with express shipping you're lucky to get your phone in the same week from Expansys.

what's wrong with Malaysia model? i saw something about someone having problems on T-Mo, but i'm on ATT. if it's about HTC updates, i plan on using roms from here and hopefully AOSP/AOKP soon.

S6 Owner Discussion Thread

The only problem is that the 64 GB S6 and the 32 GB S6 Edge are the same exact price. While the 32 GB S6 is $120 cheaper than the 32 GB S6 Edge. Decisions!!

Just placed my order for a 64GB Black S6.
I'm supposed to get it on 4/10. We'll see.
Now I need to decide which case to get. I really like my otterbox commuter, but I'll need to weight that against the spigen cases. And also really hoping Spigen decides to make a glasr for the s6.

I cancelled my original pre-order made on the 28th. I then replaced my order on the 5th. My order is pending just like the first one was.
** 2nd UPDATE** Still getting it tomorrow, the 8th.

Welp I ordered mine yesterday afternoon through bestbuy. First 65000 to preorder with them gets a free wireless charging dock. Sucks only 3 colors are available to preorder. I was really looking forward to the emerald green. :/

I preordered a black 64gb s6 at the local sprint store Friday. I would have done it at best buy but I have a corporate account and best buy couldn't do the order. Have you heard tmobile preorders are getting shipped out now and will be arriving at the users houses this week? I hope sprint wants to ship them out sooner too.

just as i said would happen.. only black and white available... probably not sprints fault, but samsung and their over-market, never deliver B.S.. as usual. probably won't be able to get one of their over-marketed colors until 3 months later.
after seeing the prices i will wait a few months for prices to plummet. the 64Gb edge is $400 with 2 year contract lol. fking samsung think they can sell prices the same as apple does. like seriously, $100 more for the Edge.. i bet it cost them practically the same to manufacture. what a markup.. I want the Non-Gimmick Edge anyway. $199 for 32GB w/2 years agreement, $350 for 64Gb with 2 yrs. $150 more for 32gb space.. no wonder they wanted to get rid of SD cards..

I am struggling with the 64GB edge or the 128GB regular S6.

They have to recoup the R&D costs for the edge. But I'm with you on the colors. I was ready to buy a Nexus 6 64GB in white. If only sprint would have actually offered one. I really wanted the blue or green one but ordered black instead.

I ordered my 64 G s6 in black. I really liked the gold platinum but it is not aviable in sprint for now.

On release day after work, I'm marching to the nearest Sprint store to pay off what's left of my S5 and then grab an S6.... I'm so torn on the color though. I figured I would get black, and then buy a green back off ebay or whatever when they're available and switch that out. The white on the camera lens kills the white color option for me.

Anyone order 128gb S6? If so, do you have an eta for delivery date yet?

Just seen today, those of us waiting in the UK for the V30, carphone warehouse has claimed exclusivity on the new device!
Coming in at a whopping (UK drew the short straw price) £800! #still cheap than an iPhone X.
Shipping estimated at the 1st of November!

Haha I'm working in the UK from the States.... Its like they take the USD price on everything and just put their £ without changing the numbers.

Always been a Nexus fan, skipped the Pixel as at the time my 6P was enough for me needs, If the Pixel 2 leaks are true I was going to go with the V30, now I've seen the price think ill get a S8 or Oneplus 5

You are forgetting the asking "price" is not THE real "street" price AFTER launch. LG phones drop in price considerably a month or two after launch. Go look on eBay or Amazon and see what a new 32GB LG G6 is going for now?
This one is the European carrier unlocked model, which also qualifies for bootloader unlock:

Sure enough, it's now almost half the cost since beginning of summer.
I'm going to wait for the carrier unlocked version (mid-November) and then I'm going to wait until the carrier unlocked version is listed on LG's official bootloader unlock list (probably end of December).
By then, hey the price will have dropped dramatically, I predict.

even after 2-3 months from 800 pounds to 600 its still fking BS. it's already 600 in the US.... it will be cheaper right now to use a freight forwarder in the US and send it here at 650GPB including shipping and tax @ your front door!!!! better yet, got a mate in the US the shipping will drop from 50GPB to like 20GPB!

Has the dual-SIM version been scrapped?

Pre-ordered mine from Mobiles.co.uk on O2. 3gb data unlimited texts and minutes. £29 per month and £150 up front. Used code vc15off to make that £135 up front.
Coming from a Nexus 6p. Have liked stock android but not impressed with the Pixel 2 XL decision to not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Plus it looks too damned huge.
Short list was;
- Sony XZ Premium - camera distortion issues put me off
- Samsung Note 8 - Size, weight, poor audio output
- Nokia 8 - Lack of cases, screen protectors
Waiting for the 1st November.

Also I'd like the 6GB of RAM, but don't really need 256GB storage. The seller says 6GB of RAM but I've never seen a model with 6GB of ram +64GB storage so do you think this is a mistake? If I can save $100 there it would be good

Hey folks.
Looking at picking up the Note 10+ 5G and while looking online I noticed that in the US Samsung is giving credit towards other purchases. In some parts of the world samsung is throwing in other goodies with the Note series.
Wondering if there is anything like that for the UK or does Samsung even do this for the UK market.
For me this will be a 2-3 yer phone so ticks a lot of
Boxes.

Sadly Samsung isn't offering any goodies other than the trade in your old phone offer for UK customers. US buyers seem to be getting a great deal as always.
I am buying the 5G version from Samsung.com - the 512GB model isn't available for pre-order yet so will to go with 256GB.

Thanks. Yep I’m feeling the same. Was hoping to pick up the 512gb but that’s been out of stock since launch. But seeing that I’m going to use a sd card either way I may just pull the plug on the 256 and use the £100 saved towards some cases...

Nothing for us UK buyers as usual, but if you have the Samsung members app on your phone there is currently a 50% off accessories code

What frustrates me is that the trade for a note 9 512gb version is the same as the note 9 128gb!!
Purchase price is £200 more, so why can't resale price be a little higher? No benefit in buying bigger with regards to resale it seems.

I managed to pre-order the 512gb 5G version but ordered it same night it was announced.
The only good deal Samsung do for the uk is the "Samsung upgrade program " which lets you buy the phone interest free credit and upgrade in 12 months

Feel exactly the same. I also have the Note9 512GB, it's unfair that they're offering the same for 128 & 512gb versions.
