You'd better conduct factory reset and wipe cache partition first.
Backup your phone before factory reset. If there are some errors during flashing, you can flash official rom first and then try again.

thanks for the rom,
unfortunatley no bluetooth installed and you can not make it on also
kindly rectify

Bugs:
- Bluetooth not working
- LED indiator not working
- finger print not working
- S-cover view not working
- GPS not working for me (can some one confirm this.. A-gps working)
- off screen guesters not working
Rest all worring fine...
This is one of the best rom i like, with lots of features but this bugs really spoil the sports.

This rom is great, but so many bugs has been reported, yet there is no news of correction and update of the rom .We expect it very soon. Kindly do it please.

This ROM is fascinating. we have worked a little Elephone in our group and we have made some improvements in developer mode for experimental reasons. in our opinion it is the best result that has given us. I hope the developers continue to improve it.

Nice rom no bugs except speaker sound is too low

looks a good rom but can't get data to work. No way to change preferred network type, cdma mode etc. have to roll back.
I will have to rate that as Severity 1 and Priority Customer issue BUG!

Ok, just want to say thank you to the developers and as a newbie - I still have lots to learn and one is how to buy you beer! After many years of LG G2 stock but rooted usage, then moving on to "slimmed stock ROMs" based on LP - I finally took the plunge with this ROM and have now tried many, some AOSP 7 versions. For now, I have settled on this rom even though only based on 6 "M" as it seems to be extremely stable and everybit the daily driver (which I have to have, this is a work phone for me). I had just reached the threshold of either buying a new LG phone (or Google phone more likely but I'm on sprint so limited options). Now that the G4 and G5 have been rooted, I may look at those. However, the G2 is a great phone, and I have several of them in the household. I just want to thank you for the support that the manufacturers and carriers are unwilling to provide! I wish I was smart enough to participate in these development projects but I am thankful for XDA and those developers that are driven to excel, and on occasion fix something they feel is just not right with the consumer market solutions. Best wishes and thanks again, this is a fantastic ROM and easily high praise upgrade for the old flagship phone!

Oppo Forums Shutting Down

Not like it was already telegraphed, but this probably marks the official end of support for our venerable Find 7.
Thoughts? Comments? Anyone surprised at this point?

an end to what little support it had..and no, it's not surprising.

No loss really, their ROMs were never any good. Mine is on Nougat thanks to OmniROM but I went back to my Huawei Mate 7 as a daily driver for a while, now moved on to the Axon 7.
A collection of 7's ?
The Find 7 is being passed down to my eldest daughter. It stays on non modded Omni 7.1 and will look to sell the Mate 7, fantastic phone, just that I wanted dual 4G SIMs, thus the Axon. I offered the Mate to my wife but she said no, too big and will stick with her Oppo F1f.
The Axon is flying well under the radar IMO. Very good phone. Mine is on official and non modded Nougat. Waiting to see if Oreo comes.
The Find 7 and F1f are the only Oppo's I will ever buy, never again. Won't buy a One Plus either.

Do you need yet from some stock room(OPPO Find7a) and recovery image files?

While Oppo's support for the Find 7[a] was beyond appalling, there were some knowledgeable guys on that forum whose posts helped me more than once.

One of them save my Find 7 from eternal loop...

What is LineageOS?

You need to update to color os 6 and thn flash this rom.

Great Rom
This ROM is great. Great Battery Life, performance. Using it since 2 days. Just that there are few issues that I faced while using this ROM.
1. SD card recognised and showed corrupted but unable to format it.
2. When using Netflix, If i get a text on WhatsApp and try to open it by tapping on the banner, phones goes to lockscreen.
3. Unable to use camera in WhatsApp.

Good roam very stable.only problem is fingerprint not working I hope it will be fixed in the next update

Did not disabled the camera2api on COS! and already installed the ROm ..that's why the front cam is not working now! What should i do?

Rear camera of default camera constantly crashing in latest build.Front cam working.Can't find the reason.

Thanks! I installed the LineageOS (Android OS) at the day and it worked with no problems, so I haven't tried other ROM after that. The only downside I notice is that a full android version is less fluid than the original ROM (with bloatware). Probably because 2GB of RAM isn't enough without some heavy optimizations.

Had to sign up just to thank you, everything else (instructions followed) would NOT work and I can't afford to buy a new phone, you're a lifesaver, thanks so much! Only (minor) problem so far is I'm unable to change the wallpaper or lock screen? At least through any standard methods lol
