Can you please post some screenshot of the changes and also please confirm if VoLTE and jio are working fine on indian version x526 also please confirm as in the latest update of american version the app drawer button is added so is it there in this update or not. Are there any Chinese or any other bloatware in it???

i just want to know is it possible to install twrp ON HONOR6X by using their official TWRP app from playstore........ once you unlocked your bootloader is there a way to do it ??

as it is official updated on site so was much confused!! more over twrp 3.0 version is updated wheras in xda links(that are updted ) for rooting leads to twrp earlier version so want to make sure is it stable enough !!!
reason for my worry was i just accidentaly got in to bootloop by flashing in fast boot method so had my device replaced as it was in warranty from amazon now am holding a new unlocked device so before commencing had to make sure buddy

Untill bootloader is unlocked , no app can root ur 6x . Even after unlock it wont work according to what i know. U should try with a pc instead

Bro I tried to install Twrp using the Chinese huwaei software mentioned by xda but it's just rebooting couldn't get the recovery menu am confused whether I installed the Twrp or not

I have done it about five times....
After flashing Chinese ZUI via qfil, ur bootloader gets locked and surely you'll get your warranty

Has someone tried it in India in official Lenovo care centre.... My concern being that when I go to unlock the bootloader it asks for the unlock image which can only be obtained if you agree to the terms which state warranty is void.... So just wanted to confirm if someone did it properly.... I have a new phone and want to install custom rom preferably AEX at least until Oreo becomes stable.... And obviously zui sucks a lot and a lot of battery drain not to mention

steps to flash B330 volte fix update honor 6x (India Only)

[GUIDE]
FOLLOW MY STEPS TO FLASH OFFICIAL B330 INDIAN VARIENT ONLY
1)Download the file from the below link
2) place it in dload folder (internal or external)
3) turn off your phone
4) press all three buttons
5)wait for device to update

But After December Patch Release Its Not Installing In My Mobile Device. Somehow There May Be A Partition Issue. So That Is Why I Created This Thread For Flashing.

1. install this: http://api.en.miui.com/url/MiFlashTool
2. download this: https://en.miui.com/download-354.html (Download Full ROM)
3. unpack tgz file so you see files with *.bin extension
4. enter fastboot mode (turn off the device, press the volume– key and the power button at the same time, then connect the device to the PC with a USB cable, you need correct drivers (probably included in MiFlashTool))
5. run MiFlash, pick correct folder where rom files are and press Refresh if you see your device and then press flash with clean all option selected (ofc it will delete all your data)

but i never flash my A2 Lite, only my old Redmi 3 with MIUI ROM ... so i don't try this steps my self, maybe wait if someone more experienced will answer you

I have not tried to flash the mi a2 lite yet but when I have done it on the redmi note 4 you could flash it unlocked with a custom rom. If it was already locked and you were trying to flash the same version of the official firmware it would not flash, so my advice would be try flashing it locked and if that doesn't work unlock it and try again. The point being either locked or unlocked it will not brick your phone unless the flashing process is interrupted.

Yeah that's what I thought but it might be possible that it also works on Android One, the tool probably just runs the shell/bash scripts inside the ROM folder and I guess those are adjusted for every release (at least I hope so)
