Since this afternoon I have very frequenly a sort of flicker, but than as a red border around my whole screen.
How can I remove this?
(can't get a screenshot, since this flicker goes to fast)
I'm pretty sure this is a Development option
Settings > Developer Options > untick 'Strict Mode Enabled'

It happens with my One X too. 'Strict Mode enabled' is untick only. Still I can see red borders. What to do?
Hi.
My wife has an honor 7x USA version. Pretty happy with it.
Only thing she does not like is very aggresive battery optimization.
Would it be possible to disable EMUI battery optimization?
EMUI disables all apps after certain period.
She and I share the locations. We are using life360 and google location sharing.
Both are turned off after some time and that bothers us much.
Thanks!
Settings > Apps > Settings > Special access > Exempt from battery optimization
Toggle "Allowed" to "All apps", then touch the app you want to allow, and choose "Allow".

Thanks but EMUI battery optimization has a higher priority than device settings. So bummer.

Sorry I couldn't be more help. I was having issues with apps being closed in the background, missing notifications, and found that solution worked for me. When I got this device I couldn't believe how aggressive the OS was in closing apps. The way I knew I had it was by checking Battery -> Consumption, and seeing if my apps we're still "Running" or "Stopped".
Seems to have disappeared.
Anyway of re-activating this feature?
Anybody?
If you mean for it to show in the notification panel then go to' 'Samsung Health' > Three dots (top right corner) > 'Settings' > 'Notifications' > and turn on 'Current steps'. This worked for me, but if the feature is enabled then may have to do more digging.

Yes this is what i mean, are you on android p? As they seem to have removed it from this menu in latest update.

Yeah, I am but I still have this feature? It should be there unless, like you said, they removed it through an update either through Android OS or the application itself.
Go to app info of samsung health
Notifications
Enable current steps.
I personally disabled it after one ui because I prefer it in a form of widget...
Hi Guys
Got my X50 Pro Plus and im absolutely love it!
Well, i lied, not entirely love it due to the friggin Os with all the frigging bloatware and notification issues...
After spending 5 days with the phone i fixed some of the issues related to Notifications.
So once first setting up the phone it's time for House cleaning:
Uninstall all garbage apps
Disable all Vivo apps:
Settings > Notification > Notification and status bar > App notification management.
Disable Smart notification control Settings:
Notification > Notification and status bar > App notification management > Select apps >
Enable notifications for selected apps:
Settings > Notification > Notification and status bar > App notification management > Select apps >
Add apps to High background power consumption:
Settings > Battery > High background power consumption
Enable Autostart:
Settings > Applications and permissions > Permission > Autostart

I own a x50 pro, but ur right.. I uninstalled many apps using the adb method... But one unfortunate thing about the device, as rightly mentioned by the op, is the OS.. And there is no way to root the device, at least I couldn't find any...

Kinda scared a bit to run adb on this device..anyone experienced any issues after debloat using the adb method?
Any issues with notifications? :silly:
I have debloated quite a lot unfortunately I also managed to delete some essential Phone app which made the phone crash right after unlock. had to factory reset it and start over, now it's almost perfect still hat the OS and can't get a new launcher running as they all exit when pressing the home button. Other than that it's a great phone and no notification issues so far

I've gotten my launcher to stick on my Nex 3, after you set it to default you have to restart the phone and it will stay. also make sure you have made a vivo account that way you can change the launcher anyway
