Hey guys, so today I was really bored and wanted to do some productive stuff, here's what I've come up with; An AMOLED friendly minimal TWRP theme! This theme fits my personal taste as I wanted a theme which does not have any eye candy, just some text and light images.
Download:
http://db.tt/q0DfQ6w3
Installation:
Just make a new folder inside TWRP directory called "theme" (without quotes), place the downloaded theme inside it and rename the downloaded theme ("MNML.zip") to "ui.zip". That's it and you're now good to go!
Sidenotes:
• I made this theme out of someone else's theme (bite me) I really don't remember (because it was long ago I downloaded it) where I got that theme from so I am unable to provide you with proper credits, so consider this theme as some type of 'kang'.
• The theme isn't tested thoroughly so expect some minor bugs and please report them here, I'll look into them as soon as possible.
• This theme is only compatible with 1280 x 720 resolutions, trying this theme on a phone whose resolution isn't equivalent to the latter will end you up with recovery which wouldn't function properly. Just delete the "ui.zip" from theme folder to help your situation.
Screenshots are attached.
Hope you like it.
Some pictures would be nice
I'll get you some.

Thanks for this! I love the simple look, even though twrp was already quite simple.

Love the simple look. Thanks for posting.
White on white font is only problem I had, in the file/install section, well that and capitalizing the t in theme folder

Yes, white font on white background makes it unusable for me. Thanks though! Looked nice.

Until today I found out that only The Green can create themes that can pretty modify every part of the system UIs look (e.g. folders, folder background, Home Screen...). No other developer can or did this (correct me if I'm wrong, I am still searching). And all of them don't require modifying the system files (root).
Most developers can colour the Fab buttons or change the wallpapers or make the toggles look like black, red, orange, whatever, and that's great, no doubt. But I am looking for more themes from The Green and those he/she released in the Play Store aren't enough [emoji14]. I believe that more than one developer can create such kind of themes.
It would be great if any body can tell me where in this world wide web there are more of such kind. Android 5 compatibility would be nice.
Notice: I don't know where to exactly post this "question" on Xda, specifically xperia devices, so if this is the wrong place to post then please move it to the correct location. (or delete it [emoji22]) I couldn't find the Cross-device development for Sony devices q&a subforum.
A signature-key from SONY is needed to sign a theme-app to let it theme all the cool stuff.
If the theme is not signed with the SONY signature key, like all the themes on XDA, the firmware needs ROOT and patched services.jar (also called Superuser Mod).
Like you, I have only seen very few theme devs on Play that make themes for Xperia (and they must have the signature key from SONY).
Hello
Have question.
can someone share photos that such changes Green. and we can not.
I'm curious because I never I installed its themes

I think he have got all resourses, that are allowed overlay
Screenshoots for Craftsmanship theme on KK. On LP it looks like.. well like it's not themed at all, LOL.
We can make overlays for more on KK , because of patched services.jar.

it seems to me that most of these values does not require special signature. I am rather convinced 99 percent. The theme is so advanced.
It could be interesting to see screenshots from the theme Craftsmanship on LP.
I only saw it shortly before I donwgraded to KK again.
Anyone, please

Well, that's the question. I'm gathering some credits trough Google Rewards and i'm pretty interested in buying the Substratum extension made for Android Oreo. But first i want to know if someone has tried the app in this phone to avoid some useless purchase. Something that i miss from my old Moto X Style is the customization. I could root this thing to do it without any plugin but so far i'm not interested in rooting and all that.

I didn't find any replacements..
I think if You dont wanna root Your phone You should buy Andromeda rootless backend - support devs, because it works.
I'm currenly using the Andromeda... It does work but with some errors n doesn't work well with all themes...
I've got something to show..
Thanks guys. I'll buy it anytime soon then.
I have been using it on 0.8 Verizon edition with no probs, sais oreo theme is a pretty good dark theme.
I am using it. Everything was working until the most recent security update for oreo. Although it may have been me updating my theme, which i did after the security update.
I can't stand all the ads on this phone. Ugh.
I use it with stock Oreo 8.0.0. No issues.
Black theme (forgot the name but it is the most popular one) is nice for the notification bar and settings menu.
Which theme is that?

Its working fine, I'm experiencing no lags.
Black looks beautiful and being AMOLED saves battery also.
Notification issue
The Default Dark Theme works except for some notifications that keep having dark text on dark background (see first notification on the attached image). Is there any way to fix that? My device is not rooted.

I am currently using a pitch black theme that is called Sai's Oreo Theme: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=baka.sai.oreo&hl=en
I`ve been using Default Dark from F-Droid. Basically switches the Phones/Contacts/Settings/QSettings etc to dark.
The app has one annoyance to it cause you got to connect the phone to the pc if you want to use substratum.
The good stuff is that applied theme survives reboot, so it`s not so bad in the end.
Please welcome my latest creation, The Prodigy
Available on playstore: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.existenz.prodigy

Nice theme bro, keep it up
Great themes man....thumbsup!
Thank you so much. It's a nice theme.
But I cannot change my setting button/slider like your screenshot. Does it need other application?
My device is XZ1 on Stock Android 8.0.

Sony has limited full Sony theming engine to latest devices unfortunately.
Very nice theme. Clean, simple..and one of my favourite artists. Nice work! :highfive:
Hello geeks,
I'm sick and tired of this so called "dark", ugly Grey color. Is there any way to go black? I mean the real amoled black we been used to in a decade.
I'm rooted and tried Flux, swift, and many other substratum themes but they don't work on this android 13 thing.

Flux has Android 13 support so not sure why it's not working for you. So do Liv Dark, Iris and Iris Monet, amongst others. Also, you should be using Substratum Lite rather than Substratum, if you aren't.
Man, you're a real dog. You saved my time. The lite thing just worked. Thank you so much
Could someone please point me in the direction of the substratum lite for my stock, rooted, P6P A13.
A search on XDA produced hundreds of pages, but I am unable to tell which apply to me, and the Substratum hub is all about Oreo and older.
This would be my first venture into themes and I would like to learn more.
Thanks

Here is the Substratum Lite app.
There are several themes you can use on A13, as mentioned above. Search Play Store for themes such as Liv Dark, Flux, Iris, Iris Monet, etc.. For others you will have to search on Telegram.
You can use AOSP mod. This is the way !
aosp mod.project themer .
Does it work on stuck Tom thou?
i am on stock.so yes.
Project themer work perfect on A13 (playstore)
Maybe not what you're looking for but here's for black wallpaper: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.mangino.android.No_Wallpaper
