try orange fox recovery.
Try renaming file 'recoveryfromboot.p' found in system folder.
Install orangefox twrp or redwolf twrp..

I'm having some problems with cyanogen mod, and this deals with all versions. I cannot install a single app without it force closing on launch, and I cannot get Gapps back without it causing a boot loop.
Am I missing something? I don't have these problems with other ROMS but I really want to give cyanogen a chance. Someone help! Lol.
Now titanium backup works. I just kept opening it and force closing it. But everything else still does not work. I think its time to smoke and dig on my phone.
Pointers please!
Have you tried fixing permissions in rom manager?

I was having the same problems with the newer versions of cyanogen. I just went back to a stock 2.2, re-rooted, then did a complete wipe and install and haven't had a problem since.

I ended up fixing it. I had to fix permissions on ROM Manager and on ClockworkMod. But now I can't use market, Gmail, or any Google related app.

hi,
I just rooted my HOX, and installed cynagenmod 10.1 , i unlocked the boot loader and install the custom rom through CWM as given on the internet everywhere , but when i try to run titanium backup it says not properly rooted, and when i checked from a root checker it says DEVICE NOT PROPER ROOT ACCESS, i read some where and download the SU bin and arm file and flashed them through CWM in recovery mode , and also flashed the bin first and then the other other file , but when i run TB it gives the same error.
Please help

You need to uninstall SuperSU if you were rooted before installing cyanogenmod, as CM comes with another superuser app... SO go into your apps find superSU and uninstall it

You lose installed apps, settings that you set when you started the phone, WiFi, wallpaper, texts/phone log, contacts
If you pick to back up to Google when you first set up the rom you can restore all the above apart from texts and call logs.

I know I've been really stupid in doing this, but now I need some help. After the 20150116 update, I installed a CM11 theme and applied it using theme chooser. Now, everything FCs- GApps, System UI, Package Installer and practically everything. I tried re-flashing the delta update of 20150116 but nothing changes. Is there any solution to this, without factory reset?

you have no choice.you will do a clean install again
connect to computer..
then adb uninstall com.xxx.yyy.zzz (current theme's package name)

This is what I do every time snapperfs has an update. It'll help you log in as well.
Uninstall xposed framework. Clear cache, log into Snapchat. Take a backup of it using titanium backup and then re-install xposed framework. Restore Snapchat from titanium backup and viola you're signed in and working like it should.

I'm not sure about the patched versions of xposed, never used them but you can try to use the uninstaller found in the link below.
dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/
I use this and it works like a charm. Just put it on your SD card and flash it from twrp and xposed framework should be removed.
Note: you will still see xposed on your phone, that's the installer. It should say xposed framework not active when you open it up.

I believe that's the latest version for xposed. I personally am on version 87 and have had no issues so far.
I'm running the last cm13 nightly build that was available for Z00A.
The last file you see there is the uninstaller zip that's what you flash to uninstall xposed framework. Like I said before, you'll still see the app after you reboot but the framework won't be installed and Snapchat should sign you in.
What version of Snapchat are you on? Are you using snaperffs on xposed too? You might want to uninstall that before signing into Snapchat.
