LineageOS 15.1 is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8.1.x (Oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please

* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.

*/
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
Instructions:
Take a backup first from your actual system!
Before instaling, make sure you are running the latest Oreo firmware from the latest HTC Sense.
If you are encrypted but running an AOSP ROM then you're fine. If you come from Sense, take a full backup of all your data, boot into TWRP and format data (the option which requires you to type "yes") and clean flash accordingly. This is due to encryption changes. Do not skip this step or you will be locked out of your system by a password prompt.
If you are coming from any other ROM wiping /system & /data is strongly recommended
Download the latest build and GApps (both links are below).
Reboot to TWRP.
Flash the latest build and GApps.
Reboot and enjoy (as much as currently possible)
Downloads:
ROM: lineage-15.1-20180826-UNOFFICIAL-pme.zip
GAPPS: OpenGapps
Known Issues:
Woofer / Loudspeaker ( amplifier issue )
IMS - VOLTE
SlowMo
SeLinux permissive ( will be fixed when the bugs are fixed )
Reporting bugs:
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred (please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing).
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg (do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot, a logcat after a reboot is useless).
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved.

Frequently Asked Questions
Rule: NEVER ask for ETA
Q: Please add xyz features or fix UI/UX related bugs/regressions
A: All feature requests and UI/UX related stuff should go to LineageOS JIRA: https://jira.lineageos.org, I only take care of hardware-specific stuff.
Q: DT2W ( double tap to wake ) doesnt work for me, what can I do?
A: Please go to settings/display option and re-enable the double tap to wake feature.
Super excited about this!!!
Yes, i can tell you guys, this ROM works good, besides the already known (1 speaker works) issue.
I also had another issue but i can't say if it's some kind of conflict with the OpenGapps installation.
Some HTC apps seem to crash, for example the HTC Sense Launcher "<AppName> has stopped / Close App" messages keep popping up.
Everything else works perfect.
Thank you!!!
Thank you so much for this!!
Wow, right after I was thinking about abandoning htc stock software now and forever, your oreo version of Lineage OS just released!
Thank you and all the other Lineage os developers soooo much, you are our everyday hereo!
Thank you so much for openning a dedicated thread for LOS.
It seems you are the only one, along team venom, who is still supporting our device now.
Great work.
I just want to also say thank you for your hard work supporting an excellent device, which is the 10.
I hope other teams are inspired by your work and give the 10 a chance, it would be amazing to see other ROMs take off as well!
Thanks so much for supporting the HTC and bringing LineageOS to us.
I was going to sell mine, but will be keeping it just because I can now continue with Lineage on the phone.
Good luck with it. I've sent you a small donation. Wish it could be more.
Cheers!

No offence, but why would anyone use Sense Launcher on Lineage/AOSP?
I mean, the reason I look for a good AOSP ROM is to move away from Sense. If I liked Sense, I would stay stock!
I am on AOSIP right now and my biggest issue is GPS locks. Does GPS work better in LOS?

Well i like HTC Sense Launcher, but to have a Custom Rooted ROM where you can do so much more with this ROM compared to stock ROM AND to have HTC Sense Launcher also in it, why not? little bit of both worlds mixed together so to speak.

HTC Sense is far more better than other launcher, easy to use and organise folders, Plus people who uses news feed, for them HTC Sense Launcher is the best.
Is the cellular standby bug, when turning mobile data on, from Oreo Sense still present in Lineage 15 or was it possible to fix it?
In the latest build camera apps doesn't record audio. Though, recorder app works fine.
In past build this was ok.
How about boomsound ??

Appreciate the time and building!!
@fagyi Hey dude, great ROM! One question, can you look into importing contacts from SIM Card? It shows as there is nothing on my SIM (yet Im certainly that my contacts are there). Thx in advance
Wow...another stable rom available...thanks:good:
Been flashing this one off AFH and really like it. Must try the new build as camera video was broken last time.
Thanks...
Quick question. Does this ROMs dialer have the visual voicemail like some of the other los/AOSP ones do?
@razorloves
Other solution that you can disable via kernel manager under gesture settings. Look at, you have some good stable features which i likes from nexus device
But updated build is coming at tomorrow. Seems to some repo are updated on aosip
Does this Rom have the native hotspot hack built in for sprint or any carrier?

All AOSP ROMs should have native hotspot working. Most stock based ROMs should as well.
Ok Google
Hi!
Someone can test, that OK Google how its working on aosip? My country not supported, but if I change my location than i can enable and teach with my voice 3* times. But after seems to not probably working.
I just ask this, because on this rom I moved to new audio policy xml configuration which I setuped. If not working on this weekend I have free time, maybe found a solution. One logs are welcome from OK Google procedure where officially supported.
( If i know right, its broken all custom roms for now on pme )
Does have this ROM app gestures (or side bar) ?

Same question, same answer as in the other AOSP forums, ALL AOSP OS's have built-in native hotspot support, the options differ per OS and dev but AOSP has built-in hotspot.

Downloads:
ROM: lineage-16.0-20191015-UNOFFICIAL-pme.zip
GAPPS: OpenGapps
Known Issues:
IMS - VOLTE
The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved.

yeah it's really so. thats why it always reboots when i try to play some game, thats in landscape
RIL works (Sprint), Wi-Fi works, TXT/MMS works (and well), pretty decent with stability, I had a few FC's during setup and a reboot here and there but overall works great considering the age of the ROM, I am definitely impressed! Let me know if you need anything else with testing, or help.
Flashlight not work with built in app.
Fantastic stuff. Thanks so much for continuing with this. You are the last man standing when it comes to the HTC 10.
Cheers

Or it's maybe a hidden surprise feature ?
Also you can check on GitHub what he changed ?
Is it possible to set charging speed with this kernel? I'd like to lock it at 1000mA, since I mainly charge with my powerbank and slower charge is better for battery

Forgot to mention: VOLTE is supposed to work according to some testers.
For camera use MotoCamera.
Next build will contain kernel patches like Kcal (display color management) for those who have burn-in.

Awesome kernel will be rebased?
Awesome looks great so far! Nice work devs. Waiting for someone to confirm if volte works. What about the random reboots?

I am current currently on RR 6.2 Oreo, will this zip work on it? Also I'll try this ROM tonight. Also will the camera performance be same as stock ROMs?

Read the OP. The memleak is fixed. I'm using 2GB version and it works like a charm. Therefore, there is no need ?

Android Open Source illusion Project
About us:
AOSIP is a quality custom rom based purely on GOOGLE AOSP source since 6.0 release. Twisted with the latest features and blended with stability. We strive for perfection and it shows.
Team Illusion:
Josh Fox (xlxfoxxlx)
Akhil Narang
Sri Harsha
Instructions:
Take a backup first from your actual system!
Before instaling, make sure you are running the latest Oreo firmware from the latest HTC Sense.
If you are encrypted but running an AOSP ROM then you're fine. If you come from Sense, take a full backup of all your data, boot into TWRP and format data (the option which requires you to type "yes") and clean flash accordingly. This is due to encryption changes. Do not skip this step or you will be locked out of your system by a password prompt.
If you are coming from any other ROM wiping /system & /data is strongly recommended
Download the latest build ( links are below).
Reboot to TWRP.
Flash the latest build.
Reboot and enjoy (as much as currently possible)
Downloads:
ROM: AOSiP-9.0-Pizza-pme-20191029.zip
GAPPS: OpenGApps
Known Issues:
IceView case
IMS - VOLTE
SlowMo??
SeLinux permissive ( will be fixed when the bugs are fixed )
Reporting bugs:
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred (please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing).
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg (do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot, a logcat after a reboot is useless).
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved.

No software navbar.
Apps failed to restore both of the times that I tried, so had to do it it manually. Apart from that everything seems to be fine.
Great work thank you fagyi
I enabled nav bar using qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 on build.prop and its working fine

@fagyi any specific reason you chose to include gapps rather than relying on gapps?
