Mi Max 32 Gb : Signal problem

Hi all,
Got a Mi Max for one week now, the device work properly .. BUT the signal go down from time to time, it just go down and the only way to make it work again (that i've found) is to reboot, reenter my PIN code.
By going down i mean : No signal
Did someone got this problem ?

Sorry, for me signal is very good and stable (650), maybe sim problem?

no issues of signal strength for me, works fine and great both wifi and 4G.

Sim was working very well in previous phone (K3 Note)...
Are you using first or second sim spot ? (I'm using second, uSD in first)

be more specific please what carier , where, rom version

Allright, i've flashed RR and seems the problem is gone, i was on stock rom, global last 8 version. This Miui rom is garbage anyway, full of aplications that ask to read your contact/location.. etc. RR is far more naked, i love it so far.. and did not got any "no service" error since yesterday....
Notifications with my Fenix 3 was a no go on MIUI 8, work flawlesly on RR..... go figure...

Allright ... problem arise also with this RR 5.7.4 and 5.8 ....... someone got an idea about that ?
Should i flashan other modem ..? I can't find one in xda threads...

I got the same issue on my Mi Max.
I gave it to Mi service center.
The issue was not fixed even after they changed the ROM version.
Then they found that the signalling antennae on both sides of the phone was not getting enough reception.
They changed the antennae for me and it got fixed.
I was charged total 500Rs in India (approx 8$) :good:

Issues with apps over WiFi after upgrading to Android 9

Hi. At the start of December, I upgraded my Mi A2 Lite to Android 9 and ever since then I have been facing issues with a few apps over WiFi. The following apps are being affected:
- YouTube
- Twitter
- Facebook
- WhatsApp
- Chrome
*These issues are only on my WiFi. On 4G or any other WiFi these issues don't happen*
The issue with Facebook and Twitter is the same. Both won't load any new feed and behave as if my WiFi is not turned on. YouTube only works at times, other times it would just keep loading and nothing would happen. Sending images or videos on WhatsApp is impossible now. It even has troubles making the backup to Google Drive on my WiFi. As for Chrome the issue is that sometimes even though WiFi is turned on, it would not load any page and just say that I'm not connected to internet. I've been reading other people's threads online and even emailed Xiaomi and Google. I tried the steps (hardware test etc) as told in the email by Xiaomi but that has not helped. Some said that using WiFi and Bluetooth at the same time caused this issue but I have used WiFi with bluetooth turned off yet the issue is still there. Now if this was a WiFi issue then I would have contacted my provider but with the same WiFi connection I have not faced a single issue on any other mobile devices and laptops. As for my WiFi I can't seem to change it from ipv6 to ipv4 (or I just don't know how to). If anybody has faced this issue and knows how to solve it then please help, It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Have you tried disabling Bluetooth and then reconnecting to the WiFi in question? Having both enabled at the same time causes WiFi speed transfers to be really bad, it's an already reported Pie bug.

Btw, can u see 5ghz wifi networks?
Cause i can and have same problem with slow wifi+bluetooth

Yes I have turned Bluetooth off and used WiFi like that but the issue is still there with all the apps mentioned

Any update on this? I'm having the same issue. Using a VPN seems to solve the problem but the connection is slower.

Has anyone found any solution?
Is MI even concerned or acknowledges the issue?
Is there a way to go back to Android 8?

1st Remember One Thing. Downgrade Is Not A Easy Task, Downgrading Has Also A SIM Issue Problem,.But If You Still Want To Go Back Your Mobile Device From Pie To Oreo You Need To Unlock The Boot-Loader (Off-Course Unlocking Boot-Loader Will Void Warranty) Then Download Stock Oreo (From MIUI Forum) And Flash It With The Help Of IMFlash Tool. After Successfully Ported The Stock Oreo Rom You Can Close The Boot-Loader.
All Instructions/Steps Can Be Easily Found On A2 Lite Forum.

try developer options and disable "mobil data always on" option.

my redmi note 8 hotspot is not working

so the redmi note 8 that i bought a week ago does not want to give internet (hotspot) to who ever joins it and i have no idea why
i tried to connect to the hotspot with my windows 10 computer but it says theres no connection to the internet,ive restarted the phone alot of times but it still dosent work
if anyone has a fix to this problem that i have i would be glad to take it

Redmi Note 8 very Slow mobile data

Hi, recently a suggested my dada to buy a Redmi Note 8, today he told me he can't watch youtube videos, i checked his phone and it is connected to 4G but the internet speed is realy slow, i did a speedtest and it is reaching 2 mbps max, i tried some solutions proposed to redmi note 8 pro but nothing works, we are in Mexico and the phone was bought here but it came with india rom, i tried to flash the global rom for test if it solves the issue but i cant, its older than the india rom running on the phone.
He cant connect his pc over wifi zone neither, it says connected without internet access.
Does anyone have a suggestion? plz help me, he wants to kill me
P.S. Sorry for my bad english

Same issue here. I have noticed if I go in to airplane mode and back out my data isn't bad for about 45 min. Also my phone is a clean setup, I did not recover from backup and my phone has the bootloader unlocked. I only have a handful of apps on it.

Strange! You guys purchased from official store? Cause, no connectivity issue here at all. Check xiaomi authentication online. Check my speedtests:https://paavelo.tumblr.com/post/631930203952824320/speedtest

Please check again after you disable the gps and bluetooth...
And do it not from the drop down curtain, but from the menu...

Question Problems with mobile data - Stop working but looks good

Hi,
I own a Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE. I have updated to the latest MIUI Official V12.5.8.0.RKOEUXM.
From the beginning, I'm facing the issue that mobile data is not working. You're navigating and suddenly all stop and finally it shows the error no network.
After restarting is working fine again but it's very annoying. I've been looking for help but nothing found has helped.
Is anyone else facing this issue?

My mobile data works fine, but i noticed that phone sometimes drops WIFI connection.

For some Days I also having mobile data problems. My phone så browser says No internet connection..
When i turn phone off or disable mobile data off for 30 min IT Works for a short period, then IT stopps again. I can use Wi-Fi at home.
I have factory restored my Device but its didnt helped. Swiched to second sim slot and nothing..
Gould be cool od someone knew how to fix it. Or need to send it in. Had this phone 3 months .

Same problem here. I'll preface this by saying that I work in a place where the reception isn't great, but with my old Huwaei it never happened.
When I lock the smartphone and then unlock it after a while it shows 4G+ but in reality there is no connection.
Last night at the gym (in a basement where the reception is zero) after I left it wouldn't pick up the network again.
To solve it I have to put on and take off the airplane mode.... Very very frustrating.
I also replaced the sim card with a new one but no dice.
MIUI 13.0.5.0 Stable

So I'm not alone, but it looks that some people have not issues.
Looks also problem is on MIUI 12.5 and also on MIUI 13.
I think it is a hardware problem, not software.

In these days Ill take it in assistance and I will update you.
Unfortunately, it has been too many days since my purchase and I can no longer return it. Super regretful that I didn't get a samsung a52s!

Need to that we had igły weather here with lightnings and storm . Many trees was Tilted.
But checked mobile operatora site and nothing there.

I have talked with my phone carrier..
Tv'et said that there ser problems with the antennas or something and in some Days they will fix it . They said i need to chance from LTE to 3G till its fixed..
They should have write something on their homepage. Will have helped , so I didnt had to factory reset.

I also had major issues with my mobile network on 1 of the simcards. (I am using dual sim)
If your provider supports 5g then call with the dialer *#*#4636#*#*
you will see a menu with 3 options. the first selection is simcard 1 the second simcard 2.
change the prefered network type to NR / LTE / GSM /WCDMA or whaterver ur provider is supporting, NR = 5G network.
Make sure you disable VoLTE for both the sim cards since this was disabling my download from mobile networks.

hi guys, yesterday I took my cell phone out of repair. They replaced the motherboard and now it seems to be working fine, no signal loss.

Just wanted to let you know that during the last weeks, I haven't experienced any other mobile data issue again. I have changed anything. Let's see if it continues this way.

Yes its a problem. Initially i thought its miui 13 problem. But reading above comments with slow speed/ 4g connectivity issues in 12.5 it seems its hardware related. Inferior modem or low quality antennas could be the case. I was hoping to fix by reverting to 12.5.

Same problem i have mi 11 x i even go to the service centre they factory restart my device and it's not fixed they said it must bu hardware problem
