[Q] MIUI V4, touch not working HTC ONE X

HI guys,
I am currently on Viper X rom. I flashed MIUI rom, wiped everything etc. I am using TWRP recovery 2.6.3.0 HBOOT 1.73
I am stuck on language select screen. Phone is responsive but touch screen is not. am not able to select the language and go ahead.
Please help. I read some threads. but couldnt understand much through them. CAn anyone please help me with this?

I think MIUI v.4 is for HTC One XL, where did you get that rom?

And if it's for the one x you have touch problems because of the updated touch drivers (hboot) if version 4 is a bit older and it's kernel is based on lower android kernel source it's a no go. See if you can find a newer miui

thanks guys for reply. I got the MIUI v4 from its own website. I have downloaded V5 ase well.. do you think i should try that and i might not get the same problem.

If you know chinese you should study the "Flash Guide" at the download link web page, and try it.

I had this problem before.
You have to flash XM kernel for it to work.

Try v5 version.

I'm getting an error when installing through clockwork 6.0.4.8 I believe, basically says my device isn't supported, says this package is for(...), your device is htc_a5dug.
Some help would be appreciated, thank you.

I have HTC 816 from media market nederlands single SIM. I run cmw.when I try to install cm11 20141102 I get a error message that this package is for a5dug etc. Devices and I have HTC_a5dug so installation is aborted. I did wipe factory reset before flashing.what to do?

I am running the latest nightly, and get random reboots every 20 mins or so. Any fixes, or is that just a nightly thing?

i still got S-ON ! after installing cm11
so i followed this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2775801 and rooted my device , installed a custom recovery and flashed Cm11 & gapps but when i'm in the HBoot it says S-on any ideas ?

There is no way to get S-OFF for our device. And if there was flashing CM11 wouldn't be the way to do it.

Flashed14-11-03....cant change to 3g....in the first build it was possible to change any sim to 3g ( change both sims to 2g.,then change ur desired sim to 3g)...now it stuck on 2g....both sims

I am on the Virgin Mobile model, (a5chl I think) and I don't get mms. I can send them, but not receive. Any fixes?

hello , i installed CM11 and link2sd .
bugs i found
1- when i'm playing songs , the song suddnly stop at 0:03 and i have to rewind it and then it goes normally
2- when i'm trying to install cm themes after the install is success it says failed to install theme and the theme is instanly removed

Got call problem when using speaker!!!
When make a phone call then using speaker mode,those people i call said barely
to hear my voice. Seem microphone bug. Anyone facing the problem?

I just curious about if anyone have a stock backup of the factory (unmodded) android for HTC Desire 816 (a5_ul) singlesim variant. I would appreciate any kind of backup or zips. I still search for it, but did not have any results.

Installed it last night, I found the screen stays black after screen is locked when any some themes aree applied.
Also I want to know how do I install the new updates?
I downloaded the update in the device itself but when clicking on install update, It rebbots to CM Recovery and nothing happens.
Please help me installing the updates.

Problem is that i cant format my system partition because cwm 6.0.51 has no such option...how to format /system partition,in order to delete gapps and install pico gapps pack insteed of mini pack?

All the nightly are there from 10-25-14 up to today. Just download any one before 11-2-14 and grab the apk.

Oh so you want someone else to download the full zip, open it up, extract the apk you need, then upload it and give you the link?

I think to avoid any problems you should stay on v2 is better because v3 and v2 is almost everything is the same just use the different base rom firmware!

There should be less problems with 3.0 than 2.0... No random FCs and it cleaned a few things up between the bases

Currently doing early test on 1.19.709.2

Which kernel are you using sir.....i m an indian user so ....can i flash v o.o5 of the kernel and the v.2 of rom had some att **** which did bothered me .....will i have to facw it again....and yes is the hot spot working on this build

How to get back stock Room in Htc desire eye (original Ones)

Quick question.... I have done a clean install of version 2 and version 3 but when someone calls me I don't get the call (notification), not even ring at all. However, I can make calls without any problem. Has this happened to anyone? Any suggestion? Thanks

Once I am able to get the lollipop ota file I will create new SD Rom then will begin attempt at porting 7.

Man please just don't forget about making custom ROMs for this phone, because you are the only one doing it.
I miss my S3 because it had TOO MANY custom ROMs and this one has only one developer doing it. Thank you!

Don't worry dragonesdenano, myself and one other person have said that we will create roms for us. Just waiting on someone who has gotten the new ota and flashed it to take backup and send it to us!

AT&T incoming call issue Sk(Eye) Dragon v3.0
First off: Thanks to the SkyDragon team for this build.
I am running into a problem where the phone can call out, send/receive texts, get voicemail... All of my incoming calls are going right to voicemail. Several other people have posted on the problems thread about HD-Voice needing to be shut off. I'm a noob and can't find the setting.

There isn't hardly any really for the M8S (you should have got regular M8), but there is a ported CM12.1 ROM that you could try.
Here is a link to that thread.
Sorry, but this is the only M8S ROM that I know of.

The project has ended I guess.
But you could try this new LineageOS 13.0 ROM that was just released a few weeks ago.
