This is an unofficial build of XOSP Nougat for Asus Zenfone Max Z010D and Z010Dd
The ROM is now based on AOSP-CAF (changed over from Lineage) and while nilac maintained as much compatibility with CM hardware as possible, some unexpected bugs are possible. For the same reason build is not the simplest, so do not expect weekly updates. I will try to do my best to update once a month, but no promises.

What is XOSP?
XOSP is an after-market firmware based on CodeAuroraSources (CAF) destinated for a wide range of Android phones. The name stands for the Xperia Open Source Project and the project was initially created by @nilac for the Galaxy S+ (his old device) years ago when back then the ROM was called S+ Reborn. The vision was to create a minimal bloat free ROM which included Sony Xperia specific apps and various tweaks users would expect from a custom ROM.
S+ Reborn became a success and was eventually ported to different devices so from there it was rebranded to XOSP. Calin worked on the project for 2 years always trying to improve it. Eventually, Because of the fact Lollipop was buggy on his Galaxy S+, he decided to take a break from development until he got his hands on the Zenfone 2 in 2015 and from then he started again the development of XOSP and continued it ever since.

What is XOSP and how was it born?
XOSP stands for the Xperia Open Source Project. The project was initially created by me (@nilac) for the Galaxy S+ (my old device) years ago. Back then the ROM was called S+ Reborn. The vision was to create a minimal bloat free ROM which included Sony Xperia specific apps and various tweaks users would expect from a custom ROM.
S+ Reborn became a success and was eventually ported to different devices so from there I rebranded and XOSP project was founded. I worked on the project for 2 years always trying to improve it. Eventually, Because of the fact Lollipop was buggy on my Galaxy S+ (Which I maintained xosp for at the time) I decided to take a break from development until I got my hands on the Zenfone 2 in 2015 and from then I started again the development of XOSP and continued it ever since.
What Represents a Release and what represents a Revision?
Revisions include small changes such as bug fixes/improvments etc.. (Usually there are made like 3 revisions per-release).
Releases are the main "stable" builds with all new planned features implemented and bugs fixed.

Yes, you can. System space would be enough if you do the following:
1. Flash the XOSP ROM
2. Flash the opengapps NANO
3, Finally, flash XOSPapps

How do we release updates?
We release new updates for our Official devices each week by providing Delta updates to the users,so maintainers of the other devices can do the same as well if they want to keep up with the changes. We will make full zip releases only once a month except special cases like for example XOSPDelta is not working or something like it.

I dont get that loudspeaker part, so your workaround fixed the problem? Can you give logcat? Thanks
hello when I install this ROM there is a sound problem, when I enter the settings to set a ringtone, there is no sound, no sound in any notification, for example when I go to youtube, but when I get it on the speaker during a call, there is no sound but on the handset. Is there a solution
Hello, you are looking for an unoffical build, which is not mantained since 3,5 years.
Maybe you should better look for a build, which is mantainted like LineageOS, LineageOS for MicroG (my choice) or /e/ OS.

Seems great so far!
Battery life is probably the best in this ROM compared to all other ROMs for Le1S. Got 4 to 5 hours of screen-on-time.
But camera crashes once a day at least.
Hotspot is working great.
ROM is smooth and no performance issues at all!
I flashed it with Stock GApps with a custom gapps-config.txt file and flashed SuperSU on top of it. ROM is not pre-rooted.
