Hi, my name is Julian and this was my first try at OTG. So I have an OP3, an old Xbox One Controller(the one without Bluetooth), an USB to Micro USB and a Female USB to USB C Cable. I activated OTG in the Settings, connected my controller to the Cable and the Cable to the adapter and then to my phone, but nothing except the controller vibrating for a short time(no blinking) happened. I tried it in Games, Key mapping apps like Octopus, Tincore Keymapper and so on, but nothing happened, even if the Apps recognized the controller being connected. (How) can I fix this Issue? The Problem is clearly the communication between controller and Phone, because the Setup works just perfectly with an USB Stick or a computer mouse.

Hey dudes,
I have a wired 360 controller and tried plugging it into my note 8.All I get is a blinking green circle on the controller and nothing on the note. Anyone know how to get it working? I'm using an OTG micro to usb cable.

I thought that although the PS3 controler is plug and play with andoid, the 360 controller is not, or at least not very easily set up.
I use my PS3 controller both as a plug and play controller and as a bluetooth controller (when I can be bothered to set it up, loading the address into it can be a bit of a pain since I use it with my PS3 as well).
This is the second Ouya i have gotten today thinking "its a defect". Well I connect my PS3 controller to it thinking it would work and it doesn't. Connect my USB drive to it. Nothing. The USB has power because the LED on my USB hub works but it acts like the Ouya doesn't see anything. Anyone have any idea? I did update it because it made me.
So I've connected USB sticks and mice to my N5 via OTG able and both worked fine but when I try with a ps3 or Xbox controller it just won't work.
I can't find any guides on how to do this, with similar devises like the N7 they just plugging it in press the PS button and it works..
I've tried the USB/BT JoystickCentre app and it recognised that the controller was plugged in I went to language/input and changed it to gamepad and it still wouldn't work please help.
Also rooting my device is not an option and if I'm posting in the wrong spot sorry I'm new, thank you
Hi,
I have a OTG/MHL adapter which has 2 USB ports and 1 HDMI port along with other SD/MMC etc. The phone is displaying fine on TV.
However I have a broken screen/digitizer. This is the reason for creating the thread.
When I connect my wired mouse into any of the USB ports, it displays Mouse connected (connected to HDMI through to TV) but there is no pointer and no movement. RED LED is lit under Mouse to show power is drawn.
I have a LG G3 phone but unfortunately trying to connect to it doesn't work however I have another USB OTG Cable but it's only 1 connection. Micro USB to USB. IF I connect that to my LG phone along with my wired mouse then I see the pointer and I can control my phone. No issues.
My Broken phone android version is 4.4.x
The mouse is a new mouse but one of the cheap one from eBay. Bottom of the Mouse the Rating is 5V --- 100Ma
The OTG Adapter is another cheap one but it's always worked for me without any issues. However MAYBE, just maybe the reason it doesn't work is because the power input or DC is also 5V. Does that mean the mouse is taking all the power?
What I'm trying to achieve -
Enable WIFI so then I can remote control the device etc. I use the Broken phone for KODI.
Can I use any ADB commands to make it work? I don't have it rooted I don't think but I can start the phone in Recovery mode.
Any advice will help,
Thanks
Hello,
I am not sure if this question has been asked on here before, I could not find a solution. I have a couple issues with the pixel c
1. Bluetooth mouse lag- I bought a bluetooth mouse recently but there a is major lag when using the mouse. I have tried to change the sensitivity of the mouse as well. Is there something that needs to be configured for the mouse. Or does the mouse not perform well on the pixel c.
2. I bought a USB hub to see if the tablet can pickup a wired mouse. Can the pixel C read a wired mouse? Anyone know a USB hub which can read a mouse and power the pixel c tablet?
