hi guys, i'm really confused after reading a lot about sim unlock issue and i'm afraid if i get the android p beta i wont be able to use my sim card anymore because i'm second hand user and my pixel2 xl was sim unlocked before. so my quastion is: will i have to sim unlock my phone again after that upgrade ? will i be able to use any sim card without sim unlocking it again ? please waiting for your answers.

Once you are sim unlocked you will always be sim unlocked.

Since its beta version some crashes come through doesn't bother me at all but i need to high right one thing wich is the battery life got improved alot and also screen colors got adjusted. Hoping for better

anyone can help me to unlock the HTC Fuze ? This is originally from AT&T. I bought from someone. Now I don't have his contact neither the unlock code. Is it possible if another rom is installed and the device is able to use my own sim ? Somehow I need to use my own sim which is not from AT&T.

there is no free solution for unlock htc fuze in free u hv to buy unlock code.
i suggest you u use********** for at& t cheap and fast code even i get soem time code in fwe mins.

i need your help,i requested the t-mobile for unlock code 2 weeks back and got 1 today...they problem is for 2 weeks i was jus playin with the phone,as i am not in US...and was testin many custom roms on my phone...now when i insetred forign sim the phone is not asking me for any code(currently on on energyrom )plz help me get my phone unlocked

had same problem (using Italian Vodaphone SIM) - was able to get phone to ask for unlock code when I inserted an older AT&T SIM which had been deactivated.

I just received my HTC m8 bbuti noticed something strange first of all the Rom was already installed and it was in Chinese, second I looked in the hardware details and on phone name says my htcm8x and at the back oh the phone on the buttom in the model it says one m8x what is m8x anyway?? Should I be worrying?
It's an Asian version M8 with 2.5 GHz processor

Thats the Indonesian Version of the HTC M8,(Dual Sim) Here are some more details:

I can't talk about dual SIM version as mine is a single SIM version.
For single SIM, yes all hardware almost the same except the processor.
And all custom ROMs and unlock work the same as other Int'l GSM M8.
For dual SIM ... none of the custom ROM made for single SIM work on it.
So .. which is yours ? Single SIM or dual SIM ?
I don't think I have dual SIM...I have a place in the left upper side for SIM and right upper side for ad card.. and what's the differences in the processorsthank for the replies I'm really nervous here :/

Yours is a single SIM like mine.
No need to worry too much on processor thing. HTC release a few type of processor to certain region.
Most important, take note the software version no. in settings - about
and make a backup before you do anything else like installing a custom ROM

There's a new update to 2.22.709.4 for your device.
Check for software update first before you do unlocking (settings - about - software update)

Just bought a locked S6 edge, it's locked to BTC bahamas telecom company and they said they don't unlock phones. So what's my next option? Is there like a T-Mobile version of OS that I can just put on it and if so, will that unlock it? Sorry, I'm not that unknowledgeable about this whole process. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks

Lock in Ebay, lock unlock remote G925T, for 25 us the can unlock your phone.

Yes it does ask for unlock PIN code. I tried globalunlock and they could not unlock it.
