Hi! I've got some questions about e-975.
Firstly - I am noob in LG smartphones, i bought it, because of price and performance.
Secondly - Sorry for my poor english.
I've bricked it today (i don't know what i did wrong, all seemed ok, because while i freegeed my phone there were only "out of space" errors, so it's normal, backup folder was created in FreeGee direction and boot images were there too).
1. When I rebooted my phone after FreeGee'ing , phone stuck on LG logo- is it soft-brick right?
2. I don't want to reflash my phone with loss of all data, is it possible to turn on mass storage or mtp mode in any way? (I would to copy Titanium Backup folder from my phone, i need saved progress of games that i play xD )
3. Do i have to flash this big KDZ file or whether can i use "TeenyBin" for fix my brick phone (i would rather use TeenyBin because of my poor connection speed - 384kbps - yes, you can laugh because of it , but i don't know ,does it will work).
I hope that someone will help me, or if there is similar topic, someone will enlight me and will help my anyway.
Thanks in advance
EDIT:
I've unbricked my phone Moderators, please delete this thread.
Hi, i am facing a similar problem..i have a bricked symbian phone and i have some data on it which i want to retrieve.I want to connect it to pc via mass storage as my pc is not recognizing it. How do i do it..can you tell me how you managed to unbrick it or connect to the pc? Thanks
LGNPST app for softbrick just search it on xda forum or google
Hello fellow herculians!
Well, first of all let me begin by stating that I've asked the very same question in another thread (sulltanxda's CM12 build), but this is such a strange problem (I've been googling for way to long and haven't found anything I could use) that I'd like to gather as much help as I can, and I doubt this is a problem privative to Sultan's build.. If some moderator happens to read this, I deeply apologize in advance, in case this is judged inappropiate- I hope not.
Thing is: I'm facing a VERY strange issue with my phone, after trying Sultan's CM12 rom. I /think I/ succesfully performed the virtual repartitioning needed for newer builds. It feels great, but rebooted randonmly and, since it's been discontinued, I thought I'd better change to a more stable rom. When performing the undoing of the virtual repartitioning, I encountered an error, but I can't recall exactly what it was, I didn't pay much attention since the rest of the procedure did ok, and I succesfully had official CM11 running afterwards.
To make it short, something in the file structure, or partitions, or whatever broke, and I'm now unable to flash new roms other than stock, and I'm seeing some other symptoms:
TWRP cannot acces external sd cards nor the internal memory!
When I click on INSTALL and then STORAGE, I can't see anything to browse through nor folder or drive to choose (below, the structure of the folders I can access is like this: "/" and then folders from "boot" to "TWRP")
Under the WIPE option, if I try to factory-reset it doesn't work, and I get this error: "E:Mount: Unable to find partition for path '/cache .../system .../data", "E: Unable to locate storage partition for path...", "E: Invalid block device..." and a lot of stuff of that sort.
The advanced wipe ONLY shows the dalvik cache and it doesn't work either
The repair or change file system gives me "Invalid partition selection"
When I select "Software update" in the "about phone" section, a message appears stating "no firmware"
I tried flashing CWM recovery, but it doesn't even boot. I tried flashing a pit file I found somewhere. I tried flashing two stocks rom, reverting everything back to stock as much as I can, no luck either. Every time I flash TWRP, I find exactly the same limitations
So please! Anyone caring to shed some light??
I have unfortunately lost more than 10 GB of data which was stored on internal memory of my Note 10.1 2014 LTE, deleted somehow, and I'm not sure what has caused that (I'm suspicious of Clean Master app though). Hopefully I have backup of most of that data, but desperately tried to recover the rest, to no avail. Searched for and tried some recovery tools and apps, but apparently all of them need root access to my device. My device is not rooted and I have not yet done so. Browsing this forum I learned some about rooting and other related things, thanks to all who share their valuable knowledge here, and below are a couple of questions:
(Considering all I need is recovering deleted files from internal memory) is there someway to perform a recovery on internal storage using Download or Recovery modes (those accessed by unlock+volume+home keys), by a recovery tool installed on a PC, without the need to root the device? Does those modes in anyway make it possible to have access to internal storage as a USB mass storage like old versions of android (perhaps using Odin or any other tool)?
If the only way is rooting the device, would you please introduce the safest way to do so, without losing the currently installed apps and their data and settings. I found many threads in this forum introducing different ways to root, but I'm a novice and can't choose the proper way, need more help. My device specs are as follows:
SM-P605
android 4.4.2
Build number: KOT49H.P605ZSUCOD1
Your early reply would by highly appreciated.
p.s. Does any one know if Clean Master app creates a log file of what it does? and its path?

Nope you need to root the device. Here is the info, pretty easy and you could go back to your none rooted without issue

Hi to all
I am totally new here on this forum normally I do data recovery from disk drives and flash memory.
I want to learn more on recover data from especially Samsung phones but not with "recovery programs" from China which are totally crab.
I want to learn how it is possible to read out the internal memory as an image copy and thenwork with it like a disk drive.
At the moment I have my own cell phones for experimental work....put photos at a Samsung Galaxy S9 SM-G960F....deleted all ....and now want to get it back.
Could one of you experts give me some hints how to do it in a nondestructive way?
Any help is very appreciated.
Many thanks in advance!
best regards

flash TWRP on it, obtain root via ADB, and shell into the internal storage. The images will all be there fully available for linux to restore and extract.
you have to have shell access to be able to do this. SU for the win!!
Hi everyone. I bought 10t model but some app, like emulators that need use internal folder to find roms and files , seems can't write or read it.
I give all permissions but still can't solve it. My old phone p30 never got this problem .
