Hello Xda,
I deleted that file while installing the ViperFX driver. I want to uninstall and get back to my stock driver. Can someone send me that file?
It is located in /system/vendor/etc/audio_effects.conf
And should i change any permissions after copying it?

Hi,
I want to modify some files in my used LeeDroid-ROM. For some reasons I want to do this not right in the rom-zip-file but after installing the rom.
I think I can do this by adb from a connected pc manually , but it would be more comfortable to make my own my-changes.zip to do this via recovery menu.
I see, there are some meta-info files in flashable zips and so on ... Is there an (easy) way to build my ow flash-file to make this changes after installing the untouched rom-zip?
What I want to do:
delete boot-sound
delete bootanimation and copy my own into system
same for hosts file
add some mp3 to ringtones, notification and so on ...
[UPDATE]
OK, wrong search terms until now ... now found:

Hope this will help.

Hi,
I need to install HTC's Locations app on any custom ROM (ie: MyOneV or CM9/CM10)
So any1 can help me with this ?
(i tried it though, by moving these files (from MyOneV5.0FX Removed apks) htclocation.apk,locationpicker.apk,locatiooninstaller.apk in System/app folder bt it didn't worked)
When you move those files to system app manually, you need to put right permission rw-r--r-- then reboot.
Or the simplest way is, open the Removed_Apks_RC5.x.zip with 7-zip (not extract), delete all apks that you don't need and leave those location files in zip.
Then flash the zip in recovery.
And these files will not work on a CM rom.

I tried that too, by removing all apks from zip keeping the said three files & flash it in recovery, still it doesn't appeared in apps!
Though i'll try again may b missed something or some file..
I just tried it, it works.
Your filename looks different, attached here the files from the Removed_Apks_RC5.x.zip, I named it to location.zip. Flash in recovery.
It Worked: Thanx
We all know what can DSP manager is able to make our devices sound like, i was just checking on the internet to internet about installing DSP manager manually where it is not possible to install from custom recovery and found some stuff here
I was wondering if this could work on MIUI , i followed the steps and it worked.
Install DSP Manager manually.
extract the attached zip to internal storage
Use root explorer and copy DSPManager.apk to System\app
Copy and paste Soundfx to System\Lib and replace it
Copy audio_effects.conf to System\Vendor\etc and replace it.
Give full permissions to all of these files...
restart your phone and there you have the DSP manager enjoy the happiness of music.
hi people, is there any way to install apk from fastboot? since it does not let me copy it to sytem manually moving the file wing caroeta system / app, thanks greetings
if you have an apk, copy it to your SDcard, and on your phone, in files or some file app, click on it and install it. You will be asked if okay to uninstall from there.
