Hi, noob here;
I want to know what happens if I install Vegito Kernel, and then Lenovo releases a new version to uptade through system update. Will I be able to update to Marshmallow when it gets released? (on may, according to lenovo update matrix)
Also, if I install a custom rom, will it keep the kernel, or should (and can) I install it again?
Thanks

When a new update for Lenovo comes , the kernel will be replaced by the stock. If on the custom ROM, you can flash vegito, but again, when new update of the custom ROM comes, it will be replaced by the custom ROM stock kernel. You will need to flash vegito each time after an update comes...
Also you can upgrade it Marshmallow

That firmware hasn't been leaked but firmware for other variants work
Technically there's no such thing as a flashable stock rom - it would just be a custom rom with no modifications
You can just flash the stock firmware and then pull the system or you can extract the system folder from the firmware - there's guides which tell you how
You can then create your own flashable zip If you want to
How do I flash the stock firmware and where do I find it
Don't know what you mean by "flag" but stock firmware can be found here: https://firmware.center/firmware/Motorola/Moto G5/Stock/
I flashed AICP Nougat custom ROM on z2 plus without enabling volte on stock rom.
Is there any way I could make volte work on custom rom without going back to stock rom ?

If your stock rom didn't support VoLTE then custom rom won't support it. Try booting up into safe mode. Might work.

Thanks for your reply
The problem is as soon as I got the phone I flashed a custom rom but I think I had to first enable volte on stock rom then flash custom rom. So instead of doing a backup and restore process can I flash a baseband or some modem file on custom rom to get volte?

Officialy you can't Dear (odin method)
If your phone is (rooted) or any custom recovery installed like (TWRP)
then you can install any custom rom (stable) available for your phone

Odin is official Samsung software for flashing official Samsung firmware.
But, once you are on the latest Pie bootloader you can't downgrade to latest Oreo, so it will be impossible.
Dude... there are a bunch of J600F Oreo ROMs hellooooo
