Google Camera not working?

why doesn't the Google camera ported for Snapdragon 820/821 work for the Lenovo Z2? any fixes or help?

It requires camera 2 api to work which is not there in our device
Don't know if it can be fixed

Port pixel camera for kirin 659

Developers kindly port pixel camera with portrait mode and hdr+ for honor devices running on kirin 659 processor. The available mods either don't work at all or don't have portrait mode. Tried all settings. I am using honor 9 lite. Don't work even after rooting and enabling camera 2 api.

@Arnova8G2 please port the Google camera apk with portrait mode for honor phones having kirin 659 processor. Please sir help us.

This does not save photos at all on my P20 Lite. It saves videos though, so it's a funny issue.

Does it need camera2api or not

Really? A lot of them work for me.
- All the Urnyx Gcams work fine
- Latest Arnova beta works fine
- Latest marlin-ku Gcams work mostly fine, but crash in some instances
It seems like all 7.2 or 7.3 Gcams work in some capacity.

Gotcha, I'm using Snapdragon. Have you tried any of the Exynos Gcams for the S10? Several of the ones that said they were for Snapdragon S10 worked for me.

yes have tried pretty much everything. all crash on launch. i have an s10 lite, snapdragon, and that works fine. hope someone finds an exynos s20 solution. not totally in love with the Samsung camera on here.

The weird thing is, it's almost like installing Gcam screws up the stock camera. I had no problem with the camera on my S20+ before installing a Gcam, but after using Gcam the stock camera looks grainy, weirdly colored, and overexposed all the time.

thats weird. have you tried deleting camera app data/cache to reset it?

I cleared the camera cache and storage to no avail, but I factory reset my phone and can definitely confirm that Gcam f'd up the stock cam. I don't know if it alters the sensors or processing or something, but all my stock photos were coming out heavily contrasted with a super yellow tint. After resetting, stock cam looks great again.
Don't know if this would happen to everyone but it might be something to keep in mind if you install a Gcam port.

Search for Camera Day, Camera Night and Camera Super Night ... They are Gcam v5 or V6 but work on Exynos... So far none of the GC 7 ports appear to work on Exynos

Just checked and it does, but on the main lens only. Also checked 4k 60 without luck (probably cpu limitation).

There must be a reason. If I was you I wouldn't count only on GCam. An update can disable it.

Since gauguin now has LOS 17.1 alpha and mi-globe currently the lack of a good working GCam is holding me back to seek to buy this one - and a little the imanent release of Redmi Note 10 Pro, which should have the same Snapdragon 750G and maybe Radio support.

Well, you won't be able to install it unless you are on MiUI. If you still want to download it go to APKMirror

May I ask about the GCam version and if 4k 30fps still has good EIS support?

Try this gcam mod - gave it a quick test and all basic functions seem to work
Video will record in 60fps without 4k option selected
30fps with 4k option selected - if you try 60fps the app will close and you need to clear data of app to use video again

Have you managed to use it on android 11?

There is no Fix for Mi 10T Lite to run 64 MP, it's only 16MP, so I'm wondering on what ROM did you check that it supposedly works?

If it's the apk I believe it is, go to settings -> Advanced -> Auxilary camera and enable them. Then the selector appears like on the stock app.

Anyone has a clue why the tele lense could be blurry? I tried different Global/EEA rom vendor images (12.0.1, .2, .5) with different custom roms and GCAM versions. All with the same issue.

I wanna know too. I tried several GCam versions but only the video mode is working, the camera and other modes show a black screen. Also, I can take panorama images but can't use the main camera.

It has exynos processor thats why it is not working. For exynos processor different gcam.
