Hello guys,
This morning, I pressed the reboot button on my phone after not being able to launch facebook app. But, since then, the phone keeps on trying to boot, but it fails to start the android system and the initial screen keeps on appearing.
I am able to launch the phone in recovery mode, and I have tried, wiping every partition except the external sd-card, and install two different ROMs (viperone and maximushd) but nothing has helped so far.
some info about my phone on the attached image
Please help.
Your best choice is to revert on stock by ruu and see if it works.

hi,
Could you give me the name, or direct link to the file I should use? I'm not very familiar with the ruu files and don't want to completely kill the phone.
thank you.

So here's my dilemma. I have not noticed till yesterday but have no firmware listed on the bootloader screen of my device. I am not having any issues but I can't figure it out. Can someone tell me why its vanishing? I have reflashed it a couple times and when I reboot into bootloader its gone. Thanks in advance for any helpful insight.

Use another camera? Basically we can't really help unless we see what's going on.

Are you following the guide and performing the second flush/flash after the first one says it failed?
The process requires a second flash right after the first one, to complete the process.
Just making sure you are doing it as laid out in the guide.
Can't think of any other reason that would happen really.

What Rom are you on currently?
I'll try and replicate that if I can or see if I can figure out why that shows like that.
I wouldn't worry too much about it though...

I been using the current ACiP Official Nightlys. Before I ran aosb unnofficial nightly. But I didn't notice anything till after I first tried flashing your 6.0Sense Rom . Flyhalf205 twrp 2.7.0.1 wouldn't let me flash. So I am using your twrp now and playing between current acip and your Sense ROM. Oh and Liquidsmooth I flashed. All these in about the last month.
I just ran firewater on a new phone and this happened to me.
Edit: just flashed a custom splash screen and now it's back to normal.

So I believe the top couple lines may explain why my bootloader is showing no OS. How do I fix ??
Hi dear xda members,
My phone was rooted out of the box when i purchased it via amazon, i went ahead and downloaded FreeGee and installed CWM. everything went smoothly but on the next reboot, the phone booted into recovery and i was happy to see the CWM their, but now, its stuck on recovery. No matter what i do it keeps booting into recovery.
Pushing files via ADB works, i tried to flash cm11 with ZV8 radio, but still it boots into recovery.
Did any of you guys had any experience like this ? is my device bricked ?
Thank you.

Q&A for [RECOVERY][Hima] TWRP touch recovery
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.
Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for [RECOVERY][Hima] TWRP touch recovery. If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.
Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
Please Help!
I followed all instructions to the tee; however, after I mounted the system and installed the SuperSu zip when I went to reboot it says no OS installed. I tried restoring from nandroid backup, but I get the same message, and my phone won't boot all the way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What version of TWRP are you using? The "No OS installed" message is expected on that initial reboot.

TWRP-Recovery-2.8.6.0-Hima-CPTB.img is the one I am using. After the 4th attempt it finally booted all the way. Should I keep this recovery, or should I install the non-Beta version? I am rooted now and everything working properly.

So just a quick question.... During my rooting steps, I never did backup my stock system...I back up everything after I rooted..as there anyway to go back and start over? Or do I have to wait until a RUU comes out?<br/>

No way to start over. RUU or someone else's stock backup is the only option if you ever want to OTA.
Cool! Thanks!!
So...is it worth asking, does anyone with a un-touch stock backup they could upload for sprint???

1. Is the bootloader unlocked? If yes, flash TWRP and wipe everything. Flash back stock recovery and flash stock firmware via ADB Sideload.
2. If no, just reflash stock firmware via stock recovery using ADB Sideload.
There's many guides about these around XDA. You're better to use search function to search on how to do bla bla.

Yes re-flash TWRP recovery. As you did it once you should know about the exact steps that need to be taken. Hint: download mode, fastboot flash recovery nameoftwrprecovery.img.
Then do as @DeeZZ_NuuZZ told you above.
Edit: somehow I have a presentiment that, in the worst case scenario, the eMMC could have been damaged by the heat.
