Is there any chance I can port this over to T-Mobile? It looks like it has all the proper radios and bands. I appreciate the input.
Try and it and let us know

I'm thinking of upgrading to a better rom for my CDMA diamond but I've never done it and the tutorial is for non CDMA phones. Can anyone tell me WHICH ROMS will work on CDMA if any, and what to expect? I also dont understrand fully how the upgrade will effect my carrier specific functions on the phone like Data, SMS/MMS and Calls. I use Cellular South as my carrier and I never see anything about them on the forums. Its usually sprint or alltell when discussing CDMA phones. Sorry for the noob questions but how else you gonna learn right? Now can anyone help?
what means cdma?
CDMA mena sit doesnt take a sim card like GSM phones. Its a different network. I'm sure its way more technical than that but thats the depth of my knowledge
check out ppcgeeks.com, the majority of the roms over there are cdma roms

Thnaks, That helps alot!
Anyone care to shed light on the carrier specific stuff?
The CDMA Diamond has not been very popular, so XDA-Developers did not create a dedicated subforum for it like we did for the CDMA Raphael.
I suggest following the advice given earlier; check out PPCGeeks.com.
I'd like to help port a GSM Rom for a CDMA rom if any of you are willing to help shoot me a PM let's get some love for our CDMA Devices before its too late
Hey guys, new to the GS3. Well, will be getting one in a week lol. I'm going with the US Cellular version. I am a little confused on which ROMs/root methods I'll need to use. All I see are VZW, Sprint, T-Mobile, but no mention of a US Cellular version. Are all phones the same?
I think ur up there with cspire on that one. As in no section for you here. You can use the root method for the other US GS3s. The custom recoveries are all compatible between them. as far as roms go they are easy to port between the us s3's and you might want to check out rootzwiki I believe there's a section there for your version
Thanks for the quick reply

I bought a Moto z2 force (Sprint), and I'm wondering how well will Verizon service work? Will HDvoice work, and what's the coverage difference?
Will I have to flash a different baseband?
My goal is to have this phone on Verizon And rooted.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Check your Hardware Specs.

Just bought this Phone yesterday so I will know more later. Check your radio spec's for this phone as a lot of carrier specific devices are built around their spec's. (radio freq, bands used, coding, timing, etc). My Htc is considered a world phone but is missing some Verizon bands that would limit it's use on their network (special features for one band, LTE was another band)
Would probably been easier to just by that Verizon model and Unlock/root/Mod it.
But easy is no fun and that is why we are here.
If You do get it working on V, let us know what you did to get there and how is performance. Good luck
