Hi,
has anybody tested the Redmi Note 5 (Pro) with a wireless charging qi receiver? There are cheap ones on ebay, which fit between the phone and the case.
I think, charging speed is not the best with this receivers?
Any suggestions about that?
(Still waiting for a wireless charging possibility with something like qualcom fast charge...)

Hey all,
For those who got their Note 4 early from AT&T did they pull a fast one like the LG G3 and rip out qi charging pins in favor for powermat?
Thanks!
My understanding of qi with the note4 was that it only was available with the optional case, and it's not built into the phone.
Wasn't built into the s5 either.

Can someone with an att note 4 pop in a qi receiver and see if it charge up? I have a bad feeling they went pma just like the g3.
It's Qi charger. I don't have the adapter yet, but others have pointed out that the contact points on the back match the Qi specifications. I just got my Note 4, and opened the back, and indeed the contacts are identical to my wife's S4
Just because it has the Wireless charging contact pickups, doesn't necessarily mean it will work with Qi. The LG g3 had the same contact pickups, but at&t disabled Qi charging at the hardware level, and made those contacts only work with pma charging receivers.
let say wireless charging works, will it still take advantage of the fast charging feature though?coz I don't think so

NO, wireless charging is a Lot Slower charging than with your USB cable and AC adapter for Fast Charge.
It supports Qi. I bought the official samsung back. I use it with a Qi charger I bought off amazon. Works great but due to bulk, limits my cases.
Wireless charging can be done if you buy a wireless charging battery cover and these have them built in also. A cheaper route is just buying these little wireless recievers and stick them in, you can get them cheaper on ebay (but my work computer can't access Ebay sites).
Wireless charging IS slower than normal charging, its all about convenience. I have a few around the the house and a couple at work. Most output .5 - 1 amp range compared to 2+ amp chargers and the included adaptive fast chargers.
The links are for example only, not telling anyone to buy anything. Hope this helps.

From the specs and price I would say the Huawei looks better. If it were me I would just go with a Samsung fast wireless charger. Amazon has them but make sure it's not a fake.
Huawei's wireless charger might not be compatible with Samsung's already very slow Wireless Fast Charge. I have a Xiaomi wireless charger that can charge up to 25W but it charged the S10+ at half the speed of a compatible wireless charger. The Samsung charger is better if you are going to purchase one that's branded by a phone maker. Of the two you are asking about the Anker is much more likely to be compatible with this phone and charge at the same speed as Samsung's charger.
Using an Anker one and everythings work fine
Samsung has their own wireless charger that charges at 15W (Android) 7.5W (iPhone) . Highest output on the market right now
Anybody find a knockoff S pen that works?
I'm about to purchase one that's only $8 but concerned about the screen.
Also anybody find a charger that fast charges this device? I've got my 30W charger from my OnePlus 7t and it only charges at barely 1% per minute. On my OnePlus it charged at a whopping 2.5% per minute. So I'm not looking forward to going back to the stone age of charging phones.
OnePlus uses DART charging which is similar but not the same as VOOC charging by OPPO. Look for a Qualcomm Quick Charger 4.0 or USB PD at the very least
The display is soft and if you intend to keep the Z Fold 3 for a significant amount of time I would avoid buying knock-offs since it requires a soft tip

I just bought a Belkin Boost Charge (QC 4.0+) off eBay for $10.
What kind of charging speed are y'all getting from this?
Not great. Fast charging is limited to around 20W.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G – know when to fold 'em (review)
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G is the latest and greatest piece of tech but at $2499/2649 plus charger and accessories it is not for everyone.

So the Belkin is charging 1% every 40-42 seconds.
Anybody doing better than this with their charger?
So the cheap 70 cent S pen I ended up buying works perfectly.
What's the point of spending $50 on Samsung's S pen? Does it cure some dreaded disease?
No but its been redesigned not to scratch or dent the softer inside screen. YMMV but I wouldn't be touching my expensive device with a 70c pen.
Hi guys,
Could someone tell me which wireless car charger is compatible with this device? I would prefer a magnetic one rather than a slide in one. I am getting confused as to what will or wont work. Any help much appreciated
Xiaomi 20W wireless car charger is nice: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_9G5Jv5
I have this and I absolutely love it. Charges pretty fast, don't care to look up the specs cause it's a car wireless charger, but I'd say anywhere from 10-15W. OP9Pro.
I use this INIU 15W wireless charging pad in my car. Works fine, and charges the OP9pro at 15W.

I use it plugged into an INIU QC3.0 lighter socket adapter to get the full 15W: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08VNWF24S/
Otherwise the in-car USB ports could be used at lower power:
Hello all,
I'm looking for compatible charging stands and powebanks for X80Pro, but Vivo in my country isn't selling their certified charging stand.
Anyone friend using for example 20W stand (Xiaomi one) or any powebank which is outputting higher energy?
Thank you.
You need a stronger one.
Thise 20 Watss won't charger.
Have a look at some of those Xiaomi fast wireless chargers indeed. But try them first.
