T800 vs T805 rom support. - Galaxy Tab S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello, I want to buy a second tab s, currently I have the T805, but it is extremely laggy with lineageos 14.1.
Virtually all second hand tab s are T805 and there are not much difference in price between the two. How much better are the rom support for the T800 in this community compared to support for T805 that warrants me to wait for T800 in the second hand market.?

[Q] Which SoC for better battery and multi-tasking?

Hello to all,
I'm planning on buying a Note 10.1 2014 in the following days and I wonder which version should I buy.
Basically, I have a choice between the P600 (Exynos) and P605 (Snapdragon) versions.
I'm looking for better battery life and multi-tasking and I have no idea which to buy (some sites say the Exynos lags, others say the Snapdragon's battery sucks, etc, etc).
All help is much appreciated.

T700, T705, T800, or T805? Which do you like best? [Poll]

Hello fellow Tab S users
I have created this thread to vote on and discuss one thing: which model Tab S is best? I personally have a T700, but share your opinions as to what you've got and why below
How can you compare unless you have all 4?
Obviously I'm gonna say my T805 is the best as its the only variant I have, but I also have a Tab A 9.7 and the new Tab A6 7".
I have absolutely no issues with my Tab S. I use a custom stock rom. It's quick, it's light, it looks good and the screen is superb.
Which do you like best?
Which do you have?
two different questions; poll becomes misleading
Which are you rocking?
(somewhat vague)

Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 - RAM issue

Hi,
i found problem with my Tab Pro. It shows me just 1.7GB of RAM. Do you think it is Software problem (I use last Resurection Remix on it), I tried RR with Android 6.0 and Cyanogen...all with the same result.
I think one of my memory modules is passed away...it is possible??
Do you have some hints what to do, how to check it if it is really that state??
Thank you
TabPro 10.1 --- Actually 1.74GB RAM -_-
Hi, you will find all Samsung tab pro 10.1 have 1.74Gb of RAM. They are sold and marketed at 2Gb when in fact they have only 1.74Gb. I was just as disappointed when I realised this was the case.

Oh, thanks for your reply. It is really sad. I bought at the same time this Samsung and Lenovo 1050f (cheaper one, insted od resolution, better one).
Samsung disapointed me again.
Thanks to alternative roms I like it more than the Lenovo .

Find ports to SM-T321 mondrian3g

Hi everyone,
I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 3G Version (mondrian3g) for a long time, first it's powerful processor ran some great applications and games, but now, the android system that been changed by Samsung Touchwiz slowed down the processor speed, and I cannot customize it. I saw T320 and T325 roms all over the forum, only rom for T321 I found is the mondrian3gX rom. Now i'm using that rom, but I still want more original android system with faster experience. Can anyone port or build Cyanogenmod or Lineage OS for Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 3G version SM-T321? If anyone can help me, a lot of thanks.

Nougat

When is Nougat coming to these tablets?
I have a SM-T800
It's not like it's very old. Samsung needs to support these devices better.
Samsung provided roughly two years of updates for the 2014 Tab S, which included two major version changes. That's, sadly, the most you can expect from any Android vendor. Somebody just reported that Galaxy Tab A just got a Nougat update, and the Tab S is certainly more capable than those Tab A models, but what makes the difference is that Samsung is selling effectively the same old Tab A all those years, so it's still their current low end model.
Fortunately, there is still Lineage OS which runs on our tablets.
