Spigen Leinwand

Hi
I have found a case wich seems great, but I can't find any review or test (appart the one of the official site, like "OMG when I received this case it was the best day ever")

It seems pretty good... but a little bulky, no ? And maybe to pricy for the quality ?
Besides, according to amazon or wathever, the product weight 227 g (8 onces), which is like 2 times the weight of the GN ! Is it the whole box or just the product ?

Could you make a small review if the case? For example does it have any magnets? Also is it stable enough when used as a stand?

yup thats what i based my decision on. the stand however is a bit tipsy and the case needs some flexing before it will stand properly. other than that, no complaint.

Regarding the stand position could you also place it horizontally rather than vertically as shown in the video?

it works in both portrait and landscape mode, but it is highly recommended in landscape for videos and such because it's super flimy in portait.

What I ment was placing it in landscape mode but more horizontal rather than vertical as shown in the video. To be more accurate I mean using the bigger part as the stand rather than the small one as displayed.

I think what he meant was if he could get more angle when using the flip as a stand.

The case of the 1st post seems to allow more angle, no?

sorry I misunderstood. the case you posted has 2 angles. whereas the case I posted has only 1 angle.

[TRIDEA] ALLKE SF Coating case ROCKS!

The ALLKE case from TRIDEA was delivered to me 2 days back after waiting for more than a month. I must say that the wait has been worth it.
I won't be able to link to the images so I am directly attaching them with this post.
What I like about the case :
The case fits very well and feels nice and rubbery. The design on the back increases the grip and you just don't feel like leaving the phone. It's very light and it's weight is negligible. The cutouts for the power and volume keys are perfect. All in all, its an ergonomic case that will provide excellent protection from a drop.
What I don't like about the case :
It doesn't protect the top and the bottom completely.
*I am starting to like this since it does not interfere with the outlets for the power supply or the headphone jack.

I have posted pics as attachments. The only difference between the two posts is the color of the case.

I can confirm the cover is compatible with the screen protector, also from TRIDEA.

and you'll find most all of the case discussion there. I use the Unicorn Beetle (yellow/dark grey) myself and chose it because a) it protects about as much of the GS4A as possible without getting in the way of things, and b) the yellow/dark grey color scheme is damned wicked.

Mine is white and I bought a screen protector and a case for it. I wonder if I can use an external or Bluetooth keyboard for it though. Any idea guys?

Well, an external keyboard (meaning USB) would attach using a proper MHL to USB converter cable so yes that would work, and Bluetooth is wireless so the case wouldn't have anything to do with that (unless it was some kind of RF blocking thing, oddly enough), so yeah it or they should work.
You said "Mine is white" so that most likely means you're referring to the Galaxy S4 - this is the Galaxy S4 Active subforum, a different smartphone altogether (even in spite of sharing a lot of components, the one thing you won't find is a white GS4 Active).

Posted on G+ to Otterbox and this is what they responded.. Why would they not have a case planned for this tablet? So annoying..

Trident is the same way. I love the Aegis case on my S4 and had hoped they'd have one for this tablet. Sadly, no.

It's such a shame. This is a flagship tablet from Samsung. Why not, make it?

Hopefully at least one company makes us a decent ruggedized case for this thing

Agreed. I have a decent leather case now but I would love a more rugged case. Too many exposed parts with my current case.

I would definitely get one if otterbox release a similar one like they released for the original note 10.1.

How are you guys abusing your poor tabs that you need an Otterbox? They add so much bulk.
The only thing I can think of where I'd need one is if I was letting my 4 y.o nephew (AKA BamBam) play with it (think "throw") and there's no way in hell he's coming close to touching my $600 tablet.

Well i dont blame them , samsung tablets/devices , many tablets 10.1 but still not same size , 7.7 7 8 9 etc.
they should do as ipad/iphone , better spec , same size , at least for tablets

Not abuse, just use someplace outside the home/office..
With a defender case on my nexus 7 I can just snap the front cover on and chuck it into my pack full of stuff and not worry about it at all, can't really say that for any lesser level of protection.

What do you guys think about this case?

Actually I just ordered on from Amazon last night. I like the S curve on the back and that type of soft flexible case. Would think it would hold up better if you dropped phone, but don't know this for sure.

It surely would! I have had this case for many other devices and because it wraps around the screen it protects the actual screen from coming into contact which reduces the chance of shattering the screen. Great case for a low price!

I bought the clear (transparant) one, it's easily get dirty, and it seems i can't make it clean,
It's good for its price, but maybe it's better to pick the colored ones

I guess anything like white or transparent will get dirty quick

mine looks different to the one in the op/video...bought off eBay (Australian seller, as I live in Australia) - as you can see the camera cutout is different.

I really wanted mine to be like that as well! I have no clue why mine is two different cut outs!
