It's so annoying when you are doing something and accidentally press the button. please help. What's wrong with my phone?
So you don't see the gear upper right? When I clicked on it it dropped down the toggle switch. View attachment 4498599

How do I access the browser bookmark?

Long-press the backbutton and swipe to two times to the right.
You can also click on the tab button next to the address bar. The bookmarks button is now in the same place (near top right) on the tab window that has just appeared.
Oh right, I think I lost that button if I enable Quick Control.
Then i must use the long press of the back button.
I just upgraded to Jellybean. When trying to swipe up to use Google Now, absolutely nothing happens, no matter which screen I've tried it from. Is there a trick to getting the app to come up by swiping? I can tap on the Google icon on the home screen of course, but I'd like to use the swiping feature if possible...

You don't swipe uo to get Google Now to come up. You press and hold the Menu button while on the home screen. That should do the trick.

How can i add more apps to that CIRCLE?
I only have google now and there is a lot of space for 4 more shortcuts..
When my screen turns off and I press the home button to wake the screen, any applications or notification popups I had disappears as the home button is being too "aggressive" and immediately takes me to the home screen.
Did I miss a setting somewhere to prevent this?
Thanks.
It seems the only way to prevent this is by enabling Swipe Lock. I guess this is why it's enabled by default?
I'm having the same problem no matter what I do when the screen times out and I press home it takeme back to my home screen. ..Have you found a solution yet?

No solution yet. And doesn't seem like there is one.

In S-Voice app, bring up settings, make sure option to "Open via the home key" is checked. This will allow the home button to only wake the device when the screen is off. Unfortunately, this also introduces some lag when pressing the home button, as the software is waiting to see if you register a double click.

I hate that lag, that's why I unchecked it and ran into this Home Button problem.
The lag is pretty bad, like 2-3 seconds. Not practical.
I basically have my home button not set for Google assistant, yet everytime I tap the home button to close out a screen I get that Google circles animation occuring when touching the home button.
I managed to get rid of this behavior by re-enabling Google app as I had it disabled before.
It appears that disabling the Google app is what triggers the home button animations, regardless of having Google assistant off . Bug or feature?

Does anyone know how to get the 'hold home button for assistant' option back?
I really miss this handy feature that worked on my Google pixel 3XL. Holding power button is no where near as useful and now home button does nothing at all.. a wasted button.
I've been trying to find a a root module but not having any luck

Under "gestures" in settings, I have double tap back of phone to activate google assistant. Also with Nova Launcher Prime you can assign different gestures for different app shortcuts. IE. I have swipe up for camera, double tap screen to turn off screen. etc..
Gesture Plus (app)
I'm in the same boat... I have the phone set to double tap the back for assistant, but every so often (far too often), double tapping the back doesnt do anything and so i have to look up the assistant app. Its really annoying, gonna try nova launcher settings, if that dont work, i dunno... I'm considering going back to my OnePlus 8 Pro, this phone has been failing me badly with its lag spikes, features not working, and other issues. Camera's amazing though!
