There isn't enough customisation options for the lockscreen.. I've tried a couple lockscreen apps. Wondering if anyone has found a good one?

I have CM7 and love the lockscreen gestures. However, I would like a different lockscreen wallpaper than homescreen wallpaper. How could I change the lockscreen wallpaper, while keeping the CM7 lockscreen gestures? Thanks!

I use widget locker pro, it's a pretty sweet app. You can choose from all the diff types of lockscreens, add custom sliders, add widgets/shortcuts to the lockscreen, gestures, wake the screen with any hardware button. And most importantly for you, change the wallpaper of the lockscreen.
Thats what I use too. AFAIK the lockscreen wallpaper is the same as your desktop wallpaper.
is there anyway to add the power bar at the top of the screen and lockscreen from miui to cm7 ??? i just like that you can have different wallpapers on the lockscreen and home screen is there an app for that???????? thanks
You cannot use the MIUI lockscreen with any other rom. You can use Widgetlocker, it's a great app and allows you to use a different wallpaper. You can also put widgets/shortcuts on the lockscreen and use custom sliders. If you're talking about how the notification bar is different on the lockscreen (the date on the left, fading transparency, etc) that's also MIUI specific. I haven't seen anything similar.
WidgetLocker is a paid app - $2-$3, but I think you can get it for a dollar from the Amazon app store.

Would it be possible to develop/modify the lockscreen that the default circle lockscreen can be overlayed over the lock pattern as it used to be in CM7 for example?
I haven't seena nything mentioned on this but I would like that option too.
I don't know if it's exactly what you're looking for, but WidgetLocker lets you customize your lockscreen out the wazoo. You can not only have a different wallpaper for your lock screen, but it has themes (including ICS stock), 4-way unlock, a modifiable interface, and as the name says widgets installed directly on your lock screen.
I know WidgetLocker. But I want to keep my phone as stock as possible. And with WidgetLocker the battery drain is huuuuuuge!
I know we can change the shortcuts, but I found a great icon pack I applied to my homescreen and drawer, but I'd love to apply it to the lockscreen as well. Any ideas? I'd like to stay with the stock lockscreen if possible but I'm open to trying other lockscreens as long as they work with fingerprint unlock. TIA!
