As the mi A1 does not come with any compass app, this apk works perfect and has a nice interface

The blackberry compass is better since it is ad free, offers real view compass with camera and leveling and overall nicer looking design than the apps out there on play store.

Dual Speaker Mod

Can anybody edit the mixers_path.xml like it's been done for other devices so that we can have pseudo stereo on Mi A2 lite?

The A2 mod is working like a charm for me, just give it a try, even a slightly different phone

not working in pie

Im on still on oreo because i like more than pie, and dual speaker mod doesnt work i tried both from magisk a2 and mi 6x but no differences....Any idea?

Did you try Oreo version on Pie? Maybe it will work. If not, just uninstall it and I will check when I will have some free time.

Works for me on Pie dezember patch. I dont no it is possible to fix, but the volume of earpiece its far below the main speaker. I tried to cover the main speaker, the sound from earpiece its barely noticeable.

I am not sure, how it sounds on Pie, but on Oreo it works pretty decent and difference is noticeable (in compare without/with this activated module). Since earpiece is not actually made for audio playback its better kept mod at the low level and of course- it is pseudo-stereo experience, so its not much when you will compare to real stereo on some phones (S10, iPhone XS etc.) but it is still better than nothing, I guess. But as I wrote, I am not sure how it works on Pie.

It works on pie I have been using it for awhile now I use this along with viper

Definitely works but sound from earpiece speaker is very low. Is there any fix for this. Maybe tweak it so it has louder sounds on lower volumes.

best gcam mod with optimized configuration for MI A3

Hello to Mi a3 users.
Though stock camera app is click nice photos and portraits in well lighting condition but gcam is gem for camera2 api enabled phone and fortunately this time xiaomi has it enabled and given spectacular rear and front lenses in mia3.
Disclaimer: i am not a developer and this is not my work here i am just providing details of apk and best optimization option for camera app.

So far no any dedicated mod is being developed for mia3 to use wide lense.

What about front camera?in mi A2 lite It does not work with HDR+ enabled

The processing does not go to 100% in my Mi A3. Only about 70-80%.

Tested now, with no XMLs activated, pure stock and so far so good ... also quality is good, better, a lot better than stock cam. Don`t ask pics please, the smartphone I`ve tested is not mine, it`s my father who owns it

Since I`m trying to improve the photo quality somehow for the smartphone my father use, I`ve searched a bit about what camera module it uses and I`ve found out that is the same module (Sony IMX582 sensor) used on redmi k20 (not pro) and I will test if any Gcam ports for that modules will bring a better experience in photos, compared with the ones I`ve read here....That if my time will allow me to actually do so. If I see anything to be mentioned here I will post.

I don't know if it was an option or it appeared, but in full HD 60 video recording in FPS you can select image stabilization. However, this is probably another android bug, because stabilization does not work. Is this android 9 underdeveloped? Is simply android one stripped of its function?

Guys Anyone else facing this big dark circle in camera after clicking Pic in Night Mode using Stock Camera inside a Dark Room with very little light ?

What is the error it's showing ?

It might be that your camera or other Google services is using the microphone.
Please disable the service/app that's using microphone and then use the Recorder app.
It's obvious that it won't work otherwise, lol.
Anyways, your microphone shouldn't be on all the time, it's fishy.

Here is the error I'm getting in my Mi 9T Pro global rom MIUI11 . Hope you can help. Thank you.

It worked perfectly on the Motorola Moto G6 plus.

It doesn't work for me on a OnePlus 6. It just doesn't save the transcript. It's available in real-time, but not when saved.

It's not a call recorder !

Ok. See now what this new apk should do but doing nothing. After save, transciotion dont work, working only when recording is on.
EDIT. this apk working only with english language. That why tracription is not saved. When we use other language transctiption panel is empty.

I am having problems with audio recordings with the Mi 11 Lite.
When I do a audio recording it always has an anoying crackle sound at the beginning of the recording.
Besides from this the recording is fine. But at the start the is always this little "pop" sound. Very anoying when you send a lot of audio messages. Does NOT come from my voice because its there before I speak.
I tested it with different recording apps: the build in Xiaomi recording app, whattsapp audio recording, telegram and another voice recording app trom the PlayStore. All are having the same problem.
I already did a factory reset. Did not work.
MIUI-Version 12.5.5.0
Android version 11 RKQ1.200826.002
I bought my mum also an Mi 11 Lite 4g. So exactly the same phone.
I tested her phone and she has the same problem. But not 100% of the time like me but 80% of the time.
She has MIUI 12.0.4.0
I never had this problem with my Mi 9 Lite!
My Mi 9 Lite has MIUI 12.0.10 and Andriod 10.
Could somebody with a Mi 11 Lite 4G give me feedback if he has the same issue please?
Or does somebody know a fix?

Try to record video with google cam because it is 3rd party app that doesn't come in the play store or the Get app, and still the crackling sound comes you should take it to the Xiaomi service center.

I made a sample recording to show people what I mean.
At the beginning of a recording there is always this crackle sound like in the sample file.
Its the same with all recording apps.
I am having this on TWO different brand new Mi 11 Lite 4G devices!

Sorry man, I thought it was with the stock apps but this could be the lense issue or something and I don't have this issue by the way. As I said visit the service center!
