Hey everyone
I've been using my M9 on lineage os 14.1 but today I updated it to 15, it's now stuck on boot Animation. Now I can't find the official rom for my device, my device's information is on site below:

Software number?.

guys who know when the official lineageos for htc one m9 will release because i wanted that rom so much every day i check i dont find any sure i already found lineage os unofficial but it dont work completely in another word lineage os for htc one m9 Date please
I have an old HTC One M7, and have found the LineageOS 14.1 ROM that works on it, and a 15.1 that doesn't. I thought I'd like to have a crack at making a LineageOS 16 builld for it. There's one unofficial one for the M8 for 16.0 and the system/build.prop file contents of the M8 16.0 ROM zip and the M7 14.1 ROM zip would indicate that they are very similar hardware wise. However, it complains that the M7 is not one of it's target devices if I try to install the 16.0 ROM with TWRP. Haven't worked out how to fool it or modify it to be recognised for the M7 (due mostly to my ignorance).
All of the build guides I have are for the cm-14.1 target, not lineage-16.0 target (I guess that's why it's not officially supported any more ).
First question, is this even possible to do, or am I barking up the wrong tree?
I follow the build guides for the M7 and M8 builds but using the lineage-16.0 target and get stuck after the build/envsetup.sh step as breakfast doesn't exist, and I guess in the 16.0 build tree, the M7 hardware is not defined.
Are their better guides for this type of thing available?
Regards
Braedon
Hello all,
Tried to build Los 17.1 from source, build is successful and flashes via TWRP.
Gets stuck at Los bootanimation, if I flash TWRP and switch to a different slot. Device goes back to OOS without any data loss.
Would really appreciate if anyone could help me get this booted.

Note: This thread is only for development queries, please do not flash this just to try los, it doesn't boot.
Edit 1: Rom boots if flashed on slot A, but doesn't resize partitions, so not able to flash gapps.
Edit 2: Gapps flashing issue fixed.

I'm not a Developer, but I have many years experience tweaking and flashing all my devices.
One of the first things I try is to format my data in twrp (so factory reset). It's an inconvenience but it usually fixed a bunch of issues for me.
2nd one is making sure I flash to the A partition. Never been a problem on this phone but on my razer phone I could only ever boot LOS on partition A
Hello to all
I flashed unofficial Lineage OS 18.1 for my HTC one A9 hiaewhl, when I reboot the system, it does not load, that is, if the loading animation appears lineage os, but does not go from there, what can I do?
The phone had Android 7.0 Nougat stock, thanks!
Now that Lineage OS team have discounted support for this device I was wondering if anyone had the last builds for this device
Lineage OS
17.1
16.0
Thanks

I wouldn't recommend installing Lineage 18.0/18.1 from the links above on the M8
It runs unbearably slow and lags after installing some common apps... some apps take over 30 secs to start and even taking pictures using the standard camera app and answering the phone sometimes takes 5-10 seconds.
I had 17.1 for quite some time on my old M8 and it worked much better then 18.1

Even the 202206 builds from the second link runs slow?
You could post a link of 17.1 though, as we don't find links of it anymore.

Yes, I tried one of the early 18.0 builds about a year ago and it ran also very slow, but at the time thought it was because it was an early build.
The latest build(s) still run slow.
last 17.1 build I could find: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1U-0rWPpD8i1yIDtTKqwrzyRioYEoqy7F/view
