Latest factory Images for Pixel 2 (walleye)
Install Instructions - Coming from Stock
1. Flash the newest factory images on both slots. (yes you will loose your Data). Boot into Android once.
2. Move ROM + TWRP.zip to your internal storage
3. Boot the TWRP.img
Check what Slot you're on (Reboot Menu)
Go to WIPE, and swipe for “Factory Reset” or ADVANCE (dalvik & data)
Flash the ROM zip followed by TWRP.zip
4. Reboot to system. DO NOT Flash Magisk right away. Boot into the rom once.

you will have to take it for a spin around the block. I didnt get much time to play with it.

Im having problem flashing this.
Im coming from aquariOS.
Went to twrp, hit factory reset, then wiped system, dalvik, data, flashed rr zip and twrp but when i boot to rr, it still asks for my passcode and when i unlock it, it still ask for my passcode.
Do i need to remove my passcode/pattern prior to booting to twrp and factory resetting?

yes please.
each time i flash a new custom rom, i install the latest factory image. if i have a account setup, i have to sign in to my old account as it results in a FRP lock.
so please keep that in mind as well.

Stock DP2 rom is the best. These custom roms give you plenty of options but with that comes instability, freezes, lagging and random reboots.

I have to agree that some do cause instability and random reboots but this one and fhem's are pretty stable

As this is cm based, CMTE will be will be implemented once they release it. For now, it is a NO!!
Night Mode bug is with many of the devices. I've pinged one of the main developers of the ROM & I hope this will be fixed soon.

Workaround for mobile data c6902 users :-
First switch on the flight mode, then switch it off and press *#*#4636#*#* and under phone information, choose the network type as WCDMA preferred and back.. after this mobile data will work and after that whenever you restart the phone, just switch the flight mode on and off, and mobile data works. it was a brick. the screen does not open.
I've found just two details so far:
1. After updating SuperSU, the device goes into a soft bootloop. I had to clean everything and reinstall again (I gonna try again).
2. FM Radio's not working - although as far as I remember that's a problem on upstream CM since MM, not from your ROM.
But I'm really amazed about the camera thing. I thought we won't ever had a working camera on a MM+ ROM on our devices. Thank you, thank you so much for bringing that to our favorite ROM.

Hey,
Thanks for looking into this. There's a couple more things I've found so far:
- When locked, the screen seems to wake for itself at random times, but it just shows black (I noticed that last night because of the glow of the screen).
- Screen mirroring is not working For me it worked with the LP and MM versions of the RR ROMS, and just with your RR ROM, not even with upstream CM...
Just let me know if you need logcats or something.

I did what was there. Could have happened to him if I closed the bootloader unlocked ? and i installing stock ROM with flashtool and I open the phone.

I've noticed:
1. Lock screen music visualizer is a little bit laggy.
2. I couldn't find any option for dimming navigation bar buttons after a few seconds of inactivity. In Lollipop RR there was that option. I really liked it.
3. No AudioFX icon in app drawer. I have to open the equalizer through Spotify or other music app.
4. Can't add tiles from last positions to quick settings. When I'm trying to drag the tile up it dissappears.
Where is Themes module? I really liked Pitch Black
But overall the ROM is pretty stable. I'm just waiting for camera update. Thanks for the release!
EDIT:
5. When I set displaying battery percentage inside the circle, the font is not perfectly aligned center.
6. Settings > Battery > Battery saver and performance > Performance Profile shows '%1$s' instead of profile name.
7. Sometimes I can't enable cellular data.
Does not work mobile internet.

Have you updated recently? I'm running the latest build and haven't seen this problem occur. The problem you are describing used to appear in old builds of all Nexus 10 roms until a fix was found a while ago.

Yes, I think I was using the latest build of v5.8.2 20170218. I have a lot of issues with youtube though, 720p60fps videos seem to consistently lock up and force a restart even on other roms or even the last official rom. I also had the problem of videos auto loading 1440p and freezing the video while the audio kept playing. I have had the best luck with CM 13 (now it's called lineageOS). I flashed back to that last night and haven't had any issues. I might give this rom another shot in the future as the new android UI is pretty sleek looking.
ROM works much better than the DONATION button..
so perhaps you may want to fix that.
My Manta is now on its second battery, which also is showing signs of weakness so I don't know how much longer I'll be able to use it, but the tablet still feels pretty good and capable otherwise for the things I do most, which is mostly surfing and light gaming. I also like using it with RDP on Windows 2016 where it has the feel of a crazy powerful windows tablet, just in case that's needed.
Just one thing I've always been curious about: Where does all the RAM go?
The hardware specs list Manta as having 2GB of RAM, yet never more than perhaps 1.2GB have never been available to applications with any ROM.
Sure some RAM is reserved for things like frame buffers, or phone functions (on actual phones), but 800MB of unusable RAM has always seemed excessive. Even my 6GB LeTV LeMax 2 which has a similar resolution and is a real phone only puts 400MB or RAM aside for "other stuff".
Would you have any idea?

Screen mirror to smart tv works??
I just installed this hoping to get improvement on my horrible Wi-Fi, I have an Asus RT-AC66R running 300mbps , and my WiFi speed is crap, I've gone from l,m,n and it doesn't improve, the 5g drops and it gets stuck authenticating and sometimes it will reconnect , other times it will say saved and nothing will happen, until I switch to 2g. I've reset channels and tried multiple things but nothing, is everyone here having good luck with their WiFi? I posted here because I didn't find anything in search and didn't want to start a new thread.

Thanks for the insight; I remember Nexus devices having issues in the past, but found it strange this had all but disappeared since Marshmallow and Nougat and has only resurfaced recently. I'd prefer to use RR on this device because I like RR, it's Nougat, and it has Magisk built-in; whereas, Lineage OS has Manta officially on MM still and doesn't have Magisk built-in and PureNexus doesn't have Magisk either.
I know, I know, I can just flash Magisk. However, there a secondary problem with Magisk not rooting the Nexus 10 without SuperSU first and if one uses SuperSU, then Magisk Hide doesn't function and I need that to work.
I couldn't get your build to flash, had to hit parent folder & go to manta & dl the official.
I don't remember the error in twrp, I know there isn't much info with my post but just reporting. I don't know, maybe I got a bad dl

Well , plz see the unofficial tag . Am not willing to take it official now . I will only add official support only if the team had their own build servers. Since iam building the rom, adding an official tag only changes the text but not anything. And i dont know why u used the last line "This is not allowed" ,isnt RR unofficial builds allowed in community ?

Can the suspend actions descriptions be corrected (removed). I attached pics from my S3 mini & H5X to show the difference. That's the only issue I found in your RR rom, other than that it's perfect. But no big deal if that can't be fixed. Thanks once for your dedication

Well myfrn that was not an issue from my end. I request to post it on their Google Plus , u will find a fix on the very next day
The ROM is the best, thank you. Contrary to others roms, almost all texts are translated in French. Only a small list is not translated.

I think you have to reflash the entire stock rom: download it on the official website of honor > assistance > download.
Copy on your sdcard and reboot with vol+- and power then let's flash.
Warning: that erase all your data, make a backup first.
I've made that when bricked my phone (bootloop) after official update with stock rom but have install TWRP.

We , first of all, need to think well about it. If its a temperature problem, CPU problem, lag, low fps, display problem, or any other problem that anyone would have noticed, but none reported it, PLEASE think twice before you post it because its impossible to have such a bug and none noticed it. So something you did wrong. Find it, or clean flash everything from zero.
TWRP, firmware , rom , gapps.
If it's something that propably not many people noticed, then yes take your time when you have some free time and make a nice report so i can also see it with my eyes and also fix it !

~ If a stock app crashes or you have an error, i need a logcat and a small explanation on how to re-produce this error to see it with my eyes and fix it.
~ If you come upon a kernel panic , i need a dmesg and kmsg log.

@kessaras honestly now, you should write a guide on how to choose between so many roms. Should I choose this or Cypher? I want simplicity (bare OS without anythinf fancy) but performance and battery. Great work and thank you very much!

You can keep a backup in TWRP of boot,system,data,cache and flash any rom you like. Test it for a few days.
If you don't like it , go to TWRP , advance wipe data and system only and restore backup

definately no.
LG apps , most of them, are framework depended.
They need only LG framework to work. You could port them on any other rom stock based v29a

@kessaras I just installed the rom! Very smooth, stable, i like the new launcher! Strange enough, it gave me the option to restore google backup of apps and data from the cloud, even though I was previously running your FreedomOS (LG based) rom! Amazing! I'll come back when I' ve spend some time running this!

That would be the snapdragon camera app. It has even more to offer. Look for it in aoscp thread 2nd post. Soon I'll make it default here.

@kessaras, a big thank you for you and the team. This is an incredible ROM. All the things I've tried are working. NFC, OK. BT, OK, etc.
It is the most stable and battery efficient for me until now (tomorrow I will tweak, let's see where I can reach). It has his own wakelock blocker, a level of customization above gravity box, all kind of controls and tools, what more can we ask for?
The new launcher is incredible too. Fast, stable, customizable, smooth.
Installed superSU and xposed, and a lot of google apps, and others. No way, the battery keeps regularity. No Facebook here
I've fallen in love. Great great job.

He hardly keeps up with the unofficial unlock he is making and his Linux distro and his new improved kdz tool that will automatically fix any LG. So.... Encryption has to wait.

But I'll use mine when it's time to work on it again because LG new bootloader disabled the fastboot format and it's kinda tricky to recover it after encrypting. I can't have anyone brick his phone like that.... It will be hard to explain how to fix it.
