Hi did you revert back? Or your issue has been resolved?
Australia
Any idea if the HK file could be or should be used on a Australian V30+, or would it be unwise to do? No indication from LG on when they would release a Oreo update for the Australian devices.

Is Australian V30+ also H930DS?
If so, so far the H930, H930G, H930DS have all been compatible with each other's firmware. The radio will be flashed too -- so make sure HK H930DS frequencies match what you need in Australia, or wherever you are.

No, it won't. Indian firmware doesn't get VoLTE, VoWifi in HK, same is true the other way round. It's because carrier/network specific settings are locked to region. That's the whole purpose of having different firmwares for different regions on the exact same device model.

This is true.
I have repeatedly tried to install IND firmware onto my HD 930DS, everything works, but Volte doesn't.
Interestingly, I have flashed firmware that I 100% know is India firmware into my HK but the Software Version showed GLOBAL. The exact same KDZ file, when flashed into an India 930DS, shows IND. Extremely weird!
Can someone explain why this is?

By VoLTE, you mean Jio VoLTE, right? That's the one everyone has trouble with.
Just seeing if any other carriers are affected. I keep seeing "VoLTE", but when someone gets specific, It seems it's Jio.
Does VoLTE work for any India carriers with this KDZ?

No, Airtel actually.
And Airtel Volte works fine on the India 930DS. There's an icon on the top bar and everything.
Did anyone else get Airtel volte working on their 930DS?

But any other info about this variant? Like, what I should look when trying to root or flash something...
This model has some particularity over the H815? Or is equal to another variant?

only H815 has variants that can be bootloader unlocked (Euro countries) so no flashing on others

I rooted mine with the pre-rooted system image method. I used the system image of an H815. And it worked. You can flash the stock H815 kdz's as from what I've seen partition size is the same. I flashed the H815 V20B on my H815P, from South Africa, and it worked.
Wait... What? You have MM on an H815P? I'm also in SA with an 815P and have been playing with the idea of doing what you have now done. I'm currently running rooted v10g and getting bored with the lack of hacking I could do.

Yip, I used lgup to flash it, I can't remember if I went straight from lollipop to v20b using the kdz or I went from lollipop to v20a using the flash - with flashfire and then flashed the v20b kdz. Not sure if it will make any difference, but make sure you have a v10 kdz just in case something goes wrong.
Thanks. Will give it a bash in the morning when I get to work.
Just curious to know if exynos dual sim version note 7 supports VoLTE? Can anyone share screen shot? And which country and on which firmware number?
Looking for firmware with VoLTE support but without any rooting and without any modification. Don't want to void warranty.
Singapore firmware has VoLTE icon, but I cant try it because my carrier doesnt support it.
When your network operator is not allowing you VoLTE, how can we know that our firmware support it?

Yup. From Singapore and I can confirm that the 930FD supports VoLTE

Hi, is there a way to root the G7+, the international European variant? I see threads for the EM variant, but not for the EAW variant.

Actually, there is a method to root most G7 models, except the T-Mobile one at the moment (G710TM/G710TMP/G710TMO/G710TMP).

I am trying to change update servers using *#546368#*710# However none of the update servers except DMS - AM works with Indian networks. I believe it possible to change update server settings to receive test versions i.e. 10x or 20d by changing to test servers

Any reason you are unwilling to connect LG bridge to update but willing to crossflash to different firmware? Is your phone really ULM or PM cross flashed to ULM?
