Full Disclaimer: Zero Lemon sent me this case to review.
TL;DR:
Pros:
• Phone feels secure in the case. Actually takes effort to get phone in and out of TPU case, this is good because the phone wont wiggle out of the case in your pocket or bag.
• Battery is of high quality
• Capacity is about 1.5x the pixel 2 xl capacity… claims 170% more battery but there is loss so realistically its 150%
Cons:
• Bulky…phone will not fit in your pocket (comfortably) with case
• Battery and TPU case are two pieces so there is some wiggle of the phone in the two part case (feels like it will come out but wont...See Pros)
• Not pretty (but if you like black it goes with everything)
The case charges at a normal rate (not rapidly and not slowly) so something around 1.5amps.
The case is not rugged, the front screen and edge protection is minimal (akin to a standard TPU case).
NFC works…ish. It is hit or miss for android pay.
Unlike the Pixel Cases this Pixel 2 case WILL let the phone deep sleep.
USB to AUX will not work but external storage will work (connected to computer or plugging in an external usb).
Its not pretty but it does serve as a GREAT battery case!
Attached Photos: other tpu case and lifesaver for scale...

What are those speaker grille looking holes? Do they serve a purpose? They really make the phone extra tall.

They basically are the speaker grills for the bottom speaker.

Must be faux speakers then cause the bottom speaker isn't even close to getting funnelled out that.

Fake speakers would be a better description. It's just a hollow space under the grills.

Okay so i just got the case today
My first impression was it looks pretty cool.
Inspecting the case more, i find the quality to be pretty good. It doesnt feel cheap, not at all.
The case is easy to put on, but hard to take off. What I'm saying is, it doesnt feel like the second piece of the case would fall out of it at all.
The first layer of the case is made of Silicone. The second is hard plastic with silicone top on it which gives it more grip on your hand and wouldnt slip when put on top of a table, etc.
The case feels solid and grippy. it has holes for the mic and noise cancellation mic. The case has a cover for the 3.5mm which is great but not for the micro usb(expected that anyways).
The volume and power button are easy to press and gives you a nice feedback. Its really great
There is only one problem that i came across with the case, though its not really a big deal.
The hole for the micro usb port is too small for the charger that came with the phone. But if you force it in, it should go in DEEP.
I have a spare cable like this one so everything is all good

For $6 this case is a total beast.
Quality is great and it looks pretty slick.

just got my other case today.

The case looks fantastic, though. Its hard to put on, like super hard. You have to force it to fit.
What i like about it is that it looks better than the the one similar to it. I like how the charging port is bigger as well.
Only problem i have with it is that fitting, its not easy and requires a lot of force to get it fitted.
Check out the pictures.

This.
Thanks to MobileFun for providing me with the Sophisticase Frameless Case, they have a large range of accessories for any mobile/tablet device especially the nexus 7 so it is worth checking them out
The case is slim overall and has a fake leather textured finish on the outside and on the inside we have a grey soft touch fabric. All of the buttons and ports are accessible.

As you can see, we also have a hand strap.
Fitting the nexus 7 is very easy, the fit overall is pretty much perfect, you are able to remove the case quickly if needed.
One of the areas that I really like about this case is that you can use it as a desk stand, there are two angles to choose from that make it perfect for video watching.
The case is pretty light.
Another feature I love is that the case is compatible with the sleep and wake function of the nexus 7 i.e. when you open the case, the screen automatically turns on and when you close the case, the screen goes off.
In terms of protection, it is great for protection from scrapes and minor knocks but I wouldn't expect it to do too well come to high drops onto concrete...
Conclusion:
Overall this is a fantastic case especially when you consider the price! It might not be the best for protection from high drops but it will protect the nexus 7 tablet from the majority of small drops, scrapes and most importantly protect the screen from scratches. If you are wanting more protection, you will just have to put up with the extra bulk and weight from the likes of the Trident Aegis Case and Seidio Dilex Case.
I can't really fault this case at all except for the speaker cut outs, they are poorly done and cover most of the speaker grille holes.
Pros:
Cheap
Acts as a landscape desk dock with two angles to choose from
Minimal bulk & light
Nice finish overall
Sleep/Wake magnet function
Cons:
Speaker cut outs poorly done
Looks exactly like the $5 Moko case I bought back in July...
Sums it up nicely.
I know a lot of people here like their rugged style cases. I love minimalism so it's a little too big for me, but this one just popped up and might interest some people. There are no reviews yet, so XDA might need a guinea pig to be first to test it out.
It's a silicone case, so I figure it's squishy. I do like the tyre tread design. And with the F1 2014 season starting up this weekend, what car guy/gal wouldn't want to walk around with a tyre stuck against their face? Haha

The fact that the case wraps around the top and bottom of the bezel ruins it for me :| i rely on the notification LED too much. But I absolutey love the design of the case on the back!!!
I think they needed a big lip over the top, sides, and bottom because it's silicone. It's the only way to hold the case on securely with a soft, stretchy material. If it was TPU it wouldn't be needed.
With it being silicone, it would probably be easy to punch a hole/notch manually with a paper hole puncher; if you really wanted the notification light exposed.
I just love those tyre treads though.

I can't say much for the case being on the nexus 5, but I know for a fact it's no good on my iPod touch, especially when you're taking it out of your pocket, it flops around. It is good for drops though, I'll give it that

Hey guys/gals,
Has anyone purchased the VRS case and had issues with the volume up and down buttons not being aligned? I can't take a screen shot because when I press the volume down the case also pushes up at the same time..

I have the VRS Carbon Fit case w/kickstand:

I have no issues w/screenshots,however,I do have some weirdness w/the volume up button:
Seems to be off a bit,as I have to depress right at the top edge, otherwise, the volume level yo-yo's.
I prefer cut-outs for control buttons as it is,gonna modify mine now (easy enough w/TPU cases).

I also have the carbon fit but seems the buttons are ok so far
I have this case and while the case itself is fine, the kickstand is next to worthless. It's too close to the end of the phone. I can actually blow the phone over.

LOL, it's definitely not the most stable Kickstand I've seen. :highfive:
IIRC, the Motorola Photon had a Kickstand (just checked, it does), this phone virtually screams for the same treatment & perhaps pull double duty as an FM antenna.
I have the VRS High Pro Shield and the Crystal bumper cases. Bought one with the dark silver bumper and the other with the light silver bumper so that I could interchange between the cases. Both have near perfect cutouts for all the ports, fingerprint sensor and volume controls. Very high quality cases that look and feel fantastic on the V20.
Currently I'm using the Crystal case with the dark silver bumper and I think it looks great. I highly recommend these cases for anyone considering them.
Btw. The kickstand is made of metal and held closed with a magnet. When open, the phone is stable and will only tip over if you make a concerted effort to do so.
Well I returned the OnePlus 7 Pro.. just couldn't live with the weight/ratio/curves.
Oneplus 7 inbound.
Was pretty happy with the Nillkin flip case for the Pro with its all round the sides protection and seemingly good build quality.
How disappointed was I then to discover the 7 non Pro variant of the case ditches the all round protection in favour of an open top and bottom design.
Dammit
So I've shelled out for this one on Amazon.

Dislike the kickstand craze with a passion. If I can I'll glue that half glued sucker.. but a mate has a case similar to this and the magnetic clasp works great.
I'd prefer a smooth lining as microfibre hold dirt which could be grit = scratch or worse.
I'm not a fan of wallet cases. I won't carry cards in this.
I'll review this case when it arrives.
"To prevent the broken" lol

Well the case arrived but not the phone yet. Hopefully it'll be a week at worst [emoji853]
Case is nicely packaged/presented, bag style. Very light but possibly in a bad way.. the covering may be a bit flimsy.. we'll see. The magnetic clasp works like a dream. Grabs its mate even when folded back on itself. Clear soft PSU 'glove' covers all sides thoroughly so +1 there. The lining is soft but not that annoying material that collects dust etc..
Seriously considering some double sided tape to weld down the damn kick stand.
So far, without the phone lol, 8/10
+'ves;
Light
All round protection
Full screen protection
Perfect magnetic closure
Non dust attracting soft lining
-'ves:
Possibly not hard wearing

Hello, I´m looking for a flip case with a auto wake up function for the display.
Unfortunately, an official of oneplus does not exist. Can anyone help, is there one with this function?
Or is there any missing sensor in Oneplus 7? I've already tried it with a magnet, but that does not work.
Thanks in advance
