Hello guys! I had found LineageOS 15.1 (Android 8.1) from Wuxianlin official cloud drive, uploaded this April 09, 2018. Although I haven't check it out yet since I am still at work.
I created this thread for the purpose of giving awareness that this ROM exist. If anyone here can spend their time testing the ROM, feel free to reply and report your findings.

Flashing Instruction
Reboot to custom recovery (TWRP), have a backup just to be sure.
Wipe data, cache, dalvik cache, system.
Flash ROM and Gapps.
Reboot.
Flashed it. Works great, no bugs so far.
Before anyone asks, NO, it does not support LVM. It needs the default storage and NOT unified.

What kind of storage does this use? I'm currently on Omni 8.0 and I'm just starting to get worried about security, as it no longer has updates.
Support LVM or Chinese patition ? thank you

Checkout crDroid rom. I'm running android 8.1.0 with Chinese partition. Though I had to use a modded version of latest TWRP to be able to flash.

Have you found out why that is? Is it related to the TWRP version or does the modded one have something special built in?

Worked out bro ! Somehow managed to download the the files to change it to Chinese lvm I made a post on the generals forums if you're interested.
Thanks again guys
tested and works great with chinese unified. wifi, bluetooth, call, camera, everything work... except two small problem: video and no exfat sd card support. the youtube video is laggy after a few video. reboot fix the issue temporarily then comes back again after a few video. not big issue coz it lags for a few seconds only. the youtube is not stuck or what. still able to access everything smooth, just the video is laggy...
So I'd like to try this ROM -currently on Omni Oreo build with LVM. What are my options? Need unification as I need the storage space. Got all the files and patches for going to a non-LVM ROM but not sure what this ROM supports now given the last post LOL
Would try crDroid again but it used to freeze rather than fully reboot after one of the frequent reboots I seen to get with most ROMs.

It works great and battery life is also very good. Check out my post if you're interested.
I'll give it a go at the weekend...
Hi,
just wondering. If I'm running Resurrection remix v5.7.4, how do i go about flashing this new Rom? My current one has lvm. Do i need to remove the lvm first?
Thanks.

That's weird, if it works on Resurrection, Tipsy should work too. But maybe there is a difference that CM based roms have a workaround for

Yeah I found it wierd also since it installed fine and all and usually when the device isnt compatible its just goes into a boot loop or worse wrecks the device.

I found the Tipsy ROM for Clark on dev host and tried it out. I love it. Oddly enough though, the OP says it's Slim based but it does not have Slim recents. Sure hope ya'll add it to your ROM's soon. I'll be back if you do! :good:
I hate AOSP and Omni recents. Ugh.

Thanks for your work. IDK if it is really useful to setup jenkins as you will probably use official one soon but just for my mental health:
Code:
awk: line 1: syntax error at or near ,
[snip]
cat: vendor/samsung/tuna/NOTICE: Is a directory
build/core/notice_files.mk:71: recipe for target '/var/jenkins_home/workspace/omni/out/target/product/maguro/obj/NOTICE_FILES/src//system/vendor/lib/libfrsdk.so.txt' failed
make: *** [/var/jenkins_home/workspace/omni/out/target/product/maguro/obj/NOTICE_FILES/src//system/vendor/lib/libfrsdk.so.txt] Error 1
make: *** Deleting file '/var/jenkins_home/workspace/omni/out/target/product/maguro/obj/NOTICE_FILES/src//system/vendor/lib/libfrsdk.so.txt'
Why does it add '.txt' near the filename?
I was able to find the target into vendor/samsung (obviously without .txt)
Here is the manifest and as you already know am picking all the open commits to build maguro.
Any advices?
P.S.: leo build find on the same host.
Sorry, forgot to merge a pull request, fixed
https://github.com/DonkeyCoyote/pro...mmit/877e9057145ec602ebfefa74b0fa7dfc05ebb634
And yeah, once I got some feedback here I'll try to get official weekly builds.
I know most user love Lineage, but I think Omni is one of the most interesting ROMs with a lot of own features (most other ROMs are a collection of features from many roms without own features).
I'll watch the Download count on all ROMs I provide and check which ROMs are worth to compile and which aren't.

This maybe isn't the right forum, but what is the overall state of options right now for maguro? I have encrypted storage, and 1) the TWRP version from here, while it sometimes can mount storage (necessary if I want a full install of a new ROM, and not a sideload) more often than not fails to mount storage, and reboots into the OS when trying; 2) I have the last nightly from CM-13 from last year, and it's not very stable.
Is there a version of TWRP that works better than the custom version 3.0.0 that ziyan released for maguro last year?
If so, is the L-OS from here more feature-rich/stable than the one at the official site for Lineage?
Is the Omni-OS you have here more feature-rich/stable than the current L-OS?
If I really like having a slim-ish AOSP OS (ie, stock android with extra features, but stable on maguro), what would be my best option?
Cheers,

Andi and ziyan are right now maintaining unlegacy, omnirom, and to a lesser extent lineage. Others are building other roms too. It would be simplest for you to dirty flash lineage 13 over cm13 (wipe cache as suggested in twrp) and hope it works. If it doesn't work, you can wipe and try unlegacy because that is the simplest AOSP rom like you asked for.
Some people think android 6 works better than 7. I think 5 works better than both. Some people think 4.4 works better than all three I honestly can't tell what you'd think after testing them all.
Definitely get the newest test build of twrp as Andi mentioned! Good luck!

thanks. Do you know if fingerprint is working? I installed the Pixel Rom in the OP and the fingerprint didn't work, so I went back to Lineage.

Hi - yes fingerprint works fine; I had no problems with it although I found I had to do a full wipe in order to use it with my banking app. Dalvik/cache/data/system. I am now on Lineage 17.1 from the same group of developers and have no real problems with it.

I never bother with that l just make sure I've backed up my data to big brother Google and reinstall from scratch. Obviously if you don't trust big brother then you'll have to find another way.

In case you are interested, there are new ROMS here:-
Marmite Family - Browse Files at SourceForge.net
sourceforge.net
I have noticed when installing for the first time you might need to format 'data' in TWRP and also in TWRP once you have installed and go to reboot TWRP states ' no system installed' when you reboot the screen stays black for a while don't worry press the power button and boot system. The phone should boot up fine.

Thanks mate. I'd like to try out some GSI roms as well. I wanted to try out Havoc OS (pie) but in the thread on here the author said you need a magisk module to patch so safetynet works but the file on gdrive doesn't exist anymore. Do you have any experience with GSI roms and safety net on this device?

Sorry I gave up on GSI as I was never able to get one working the way I wanted to. I have a copy of Havoc 3.8 that does work well. If you want it let me know.

I'm experiencing a really strange bug with this rom. When using 4g data the battery drains like crazy. it goes down by 1 percent every 30 seconds.
The battery isn't actually draining though, it just says it is and forces the phone to switch off. Anyone else get this?
I am using PE+ 10 and do not have any issues like you describe.
crDroid is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device also attempting to bringing many of the best features existent today. We're mainly based on LineageOS so use custom kernels compatible with them!

Hello
I have created this rom using the Lineage sources. I don't have too much knowledge in how the rom is developed so perhaps I won't be able to solve all your questions.
Please let me know if you have any issue.

Features
Click for feature list (helps shorten the OP.)
Always Have a full functional Backup. Just in case!
DOWNLOAD ROM
GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing crDroid to your google pixel, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Install stock rom
2) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
3) Boot into Recovery
4) Wipe everything but internal storage
5) Flash ROM
6) Flash gapps
7) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

You have to go to settings/crDroid Settings, then go to sound tab and then charging sounds. There you can disable it.

Did you try one of the patchers for spoofing support? If not have a look onto Nanodroid threat... https://forum.xda-developers.com/ap...mod-5-0-20170405-microg-t3584928/post71739848
Does anyone know if microG/NanoDroid will run?
Wow this rom is awesome.Just test it but without gapps installed. Not the smoothest but it seems smoother than other pie rom. Ui is beautiful , it is tweaked .I would test micro g if it is work or not.
Can i expect 5.10
Bluetooth keeps stopping for me, any suggestions - thanks.
I've just installed this and it looks like GPS is working fine. I'll try Bluetooth and see. So far I'm happy with this Rom after upgrading from KitKat
