unlock Humax 2din car multimedia, linux os - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

Hi guys.
I have a Humax 2din car multimedia that seems it has linux os on it. there is only one usb port for this device, no sd card. it's locked and I want to unlock it to access terminal to do some stuff on it. I can attach keyboard and mouse to device via usb port and only Windows+R works! it rotates screen by 90 degree. no more action.
Why do I think it's based on Linux os?
because the Navigation software is polnav6 and when I wanted to upgrade it, upgrade files are like linux files. some .sh files and some other folders.
So, any idea about how I can unlock the device will be appreciated.

What program to use when burning Alpharev to USB?

I've only found 1, but that's designed for Windows USB installs so it gives me an error message. I have no CDs around, so I want to do this with USB.
What program do you guys use?
Everything that helps is greatly appreciated.
Universal USB Boot Installer.
I'm not going to respond exactly to your question, but I have a suggestion for you.
Use VirtualBox virtual machine, as it can boot from ISO image and it's faster and easier than using booting from USB (or CD).

ADB / Fastboot to car stereo.

My car stereo (Alpha Coustic AL10.1 - under Kingo says YECON27_TB_C_kk) is rooted via Kingo, it run Marshmallow 6.0.
I want to flash to it using ADB but the stereo only has two USB A female connectors... as far as i'm aware you can't connect USB A to USB A ? So how do i do it ?
Point is, i want to install TWRP - but the device is not listed, and i very much doubt there ever will be..... is there another device i should install that would work ??? its a 10.1" screen, basically they have locked the sd card format as adoptive memory... which i want to use.... i can do this using an app called Root Essentials, but it requires me to flash a plugin....
This maybe an idea to use a seriel connection thru obd to sniff the can bus for the apim "radio" then send normal adb/fastboot commands starting with adb reboot fastboot

[SOLVED] Cant connect to windows in Virtualbox

Hi, I am trying to connect my 1P7T to Windows 7 and 10, both in Virtualbox guests. But I cannot get the prompt to come up on the phone. It connects just fine to the Linux host, but not to Windows, it has worked before when I had my system on a different version of Linux but not now. Unless there is some better way to run fastboot commands on my phone in Linux, I am all ears. But I would really like to just use the All in one tool in windows.
Thanks
Got it all figured out, first I had the wrong Virtualbox extension pack installed. I still could not get it to work when set to USB 3.0. I set it to USB 2.0 and the phone is now connected and authorized.
Glad I figured it out on my own, but also good for someone else to know.

HP Slatebook 14 Android laptop boot issues.

I was given an HP Slatebook 14 (14-p091nr) Android laptop, that doesn't boot.
It powers on, and gets to the "HP Powered by Android" screen, then sits there for as long as I leave it.
A factory reset through the boot loader menu doesn't change anything, so I need to get in to debug mode using adb, or similar, in order to figure out what's going on with it.
I've done a bit of playing with Android tablets, phones, and the like, with custom ROMs, but this is a laptop, with no USB device port.
It's only got USB host ports, which means no way to attach a cable to a computer and run adb.
I understand there was a proprietary HP cable that would allow this, but apparently it's no longer available from HP.
Is there a way to access this machine without this cable, or get some access to boot logs, so I can figure out where the problem is?
Thanks,
Chris
I have same issues, any solution?
