Ofcourse the front camera is bad because of the lack of Api2.

But the result with night mode is amazing.
I have them both on my phone. Asus pixelmaster is for video and selfies and sometimes in good light conditions.

I was tinkering and found this. It's not working that well. But it's there, they are working on it.
No night button on camera app 3.0.8. I use ob22 pie. How I can it enable?
The camera itself supports night mode, and you can enable it through shared_prefs, it'll give you the button, you can use it to take pictures, but it does not use night mode actually. It's not working, because we don't have the required libs in order to use the night mode. I've tried it as well earlier.

Just because the option is hidden doesn't mean they're working on it. I'm assuming they have a common base for the stock camera app, and hide features depending on the phone model. If I was you, I wouldn't get my hopes up.

On oos pie I also don't have it.
But on hydrogen pie I did have it, don't ask me how, it was just there with camera 3.0.8 ? (no idea if it realy worked, because i switched to oos pie)

I can't see any, but I'm note sure.
I tested it, dots galore on my side.
But Arnova is busy with libs etc (new module) so I will just wait

Yes it works, but zoom in in a picture, make a photo of a lamp that is on as a example, you will see dots again.

After multiple gcam apks, and modules. I finally found a working APK for telephoto lens. I am on AEX btw.
So, first you need this magisk module by @fu24 :

*Note The newer module by @fu24 breaks night sight, so this version recommended
Then install one of these APKs by

Huh, I never knew that you switch it like that. Yes, it works, but I notice that the pictures are a bit darker and grainier than pixel 2 mods. So I would stick with the pixel 2 mod.

Did you also install tissot cam patch by nhappyman n joey huab?
For comparison, this was taken from gcam 5, tele and wide
And this was from gcam 6, normal and night sight, tele and wide.

I had the same problem due to other parallel installed gcam packages. After uninstalling all other gcam versions everything works fine for me.
I was deleted all ,and restart phone,now its work.
What that means gcam port?

Go to settings and enable "remove AF Data from Screen"
Live photos don't seem to be working for me. Every time I take one and I try to open it, the app crashes.

Found a way to fix crashing on youtube. Long press on the icon, choose video, change both interface and modules in settings to pixel 7 pro, hardware level full and enjoy. Everything work
