I've been tinkering with my phone by looking at various guides to get ARcore working on my OP3 (8.0.0) and was wondering if anyone has edited their build.prop so the play store recognizes their device as a OP5 rather than a OP3?
Also if anyone would be so kind as to post the stock OP5 build.prop for oreo? Thanks all!

Hi guys, I have a Nexus 5X on PixelRom Oreo, and when I tried to manually enable Daydream with the handset_core_hardware mod, the launcher kept on failing on the next boot. I was wondering if the original build has a similar issue and/or there is a fix available, or is Oreo just too new?

I've been failing to get daydream working on my stock 8.1 Nexus 5X. I can't find anyone who knows how to make it work. I also tried the permissions/xml mod, plus I tried device spoofing via build.prop. No dice.
Just a few days ago a person named raymanfx gave us unofficial lineage 15.1 for A5 2017 . So I thought I should share this with the community. I have A520F , Rom is my daily driver there are a few bugs but the Rom is great .

So does anyone else have problems playing YouTube videos in a resolution higher than 480p. Because for me i'm getting insane framedrops if i do so. Thanks in advance and if you need more info feel free to ask me.

Yes I have this problem, if I play videos with 720p60 or up, video starts lagging and becomes unsynced with sound. At 720p it is fine for me.
If you find any fix tell me. ? I will tell too if I find

There already is lineage 15.1 for A5 2017
Does ambient display work? how does it work? like on the pixel 2? does this rom have now playing feauture? does gestures work?

Yes the Ambient Display is just like the one on the Pixel 2. Can't tell you about the other two.

I'm planning to Install Twrp and flash an android 10 custom rom. But in order to do that, I want to know if there's is Gcam, OOS cam or anyother camera module which I can use to retain the quality of pictures. If so, please link it here, I will try them ALL out, and others can use this thread as well. :angel:

Nope. Literally no one has replied. Lol. Gcam could work, if installed properly. But I can't find how. Only installing the app gives pink bars, green tint and fc. Surely there's another way, a magisk module or settings to get it right. Haven't found it as of now. But derp Android 10 rom has the best cam in-built, even better than OOS people opinionate.

I too joined the group and got all the files. With the .xml file and flashing dotfix, it all works fine now.

I was on lineage os 17. But now I switched to stock Oos 9.0.9. So I'm using this gcam on stock debloated.
gcam version : Gcam_6.2.030_Advanced_V2.2.2beta2.190910.1840.apk
Xml : arnova-6.2beta-op5-steve.xml

I really like LineageOS so far. Very VERY fast and clean.
I really want to keep it - but I've got problems.
Can someone help me out please?
Problem 1: can't start with Magisk to hide the root. Can someone give me a working kernel or a guide on how to build me my own?
Problem 2: I can't use ANY Camera app. Even video call crashes. No fix found until now.
Problem 3: I installed OpenGApps and I don't even have a Gallery to see the pictures I've got on my phone? Any solution?

Is there any chance call recorder will be working in Lineage OS or Pixel Experience? This is something I really need and would like to confirm that's feasible first before installing new rom. If anyone was able to make it working, please let me know.

Yes call recording is operational under LineageOS and works perfectly. However, this option is not available under PixelExperience.
