QC is officially supported for Redmi Note 5 Pro. QC2 is officially inbuilt however charger provided by Mi does not support QC hence you need to buy a additional charger to enjoy this feature.

The charger that comes with Honor 8 pro has output of 5V/2A and 9V/2A as specified on the charger itself.
Can someone tell me the wattage(W)?
And Huawei has its own Super charge technology. So, Honor 8 pro does support that tech?

Electricity basics (Ohm's Law): Power (Watt) = Intensity (Ampere) times Voltage (Volt)
Which makes: W = 2 x 9 = 18W. <-- I guess 18W is for SuperCharge.
With 5V/2A it makes 10W.

Forgot ohm's law. Happens.
That's a normal fast charger.
And not the Huawei super charger hmm

No worries happens to everyone.
Have you tried google-ing anything about this ? It could be written in the manual, haven't taken a look at it yet.

The honor phones ship with a regular fast charger. The Huawei phones ship with a custom Super charger that's considerably faster than this regular fast charger.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't that feature not available on Honor phones only ? I mean, you'll need a fast-charging cable and a fast-charging charger. Even if you use a Honor it will work though.
Not every cable works with fast-charging as not every fast-charger works with any cable. You'll need both fast-charging compatible to get this to work. I might be mistaken though, but AFAIK, that's it.
Hi all,
I have read from several reviews that the Redmi Note 5 Pro supports QC2.0, just that it only ships with a 5V 2.1A charger.
Is it true that the RN5 Pro supports QC2.0? Also, how long does the phone take to fully charge with the included 5V 2.1A charger?
Planning to upgrade from my Redmi Note 4 as the battery life on this MTK model has been horrible, so any information is appreciated!
Thanks.

I Knew Redmi note 5(CN) Support QC3.0!
Hi Guys,
I am looking for a good brand of the fast charger and safe in the same time for Redmi Note 5 as the original charger is not supporting the fast charging feature.
Thanks.

You can get mi quick charger which supports quick charge 3.0 from mi store, flipkart or Amazon.
Please note that redmi-note 5 supports only quick charge 2.0 it takes 1 hour 15 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 % and 1 hour 45 minutes for 0 to 100% charge.
Blitzwolf or Anker.
I bought blitzwolf last week, the quality is not bad

It does not support only QC 2.0, it supports QC 3.0 as it supports constantly variable voltage/amperage adjustments. My phone, using a Tutuo QC 3.0 and a CHARGED brand QC 3.0 charger, charges between 6-8.5v, with amperage adjusting based on voltage. QC 2.0 is more strict, and doesn't allow for any voltages other than 5/9/12v (some minor variance).
Thanks a lot to everyone.
By the way, may someone advise me whether to buy "Mi Note 3 128GB" or "Redmi Note 5 6GB of RAM" in terms of (Camera, Battery Life & CPU).
Thanks.

Mi Note 3
-better CPU
-smaller battery (3500mAh vs 4000mAh, plus a slightly higher power SOC will mean less battery life)
-OIS for camera.
Your decision
I Recommend Aukey...
Must try...
I use Anker and it charged perfectly and fast
Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Support Fastcharging but Other Related Part Support Fastcharging?
Fastcharging Safe for Other Related Part?
Because Not Any Official Announcement of Redmi Note 5 Pro India Support Fastcharging
Anyone can clear my doubts?
Thanks in Advance

Yeah! I am using it from the day I bought Note 5 Pro
Does this phone support QC 3.0 or just QC 4.0 at India Only.
What Happens If I plug it into a QC 3 charger ?
I saw some news say that Xiaomi A2 lite is not sold in India? From what I heard then Xiaomi A2 support QC 4 in India and QC3 globally. Mi A2 lite only support QC 5V 2A. Not sure about these information.

What I've read the Redmi Note 6 Pro supports QC 3 in all markets, given its the same device on diff rom, it should support while it doesnt include QC 3 charger, Anyway I ordered mine along a QC 3 charger, at least it will not fry it.
And yest, it dont sell at India only the Mi A2 ("heavy")
Quickcharge 3.0 is supported by the SoC, so it should be supported unless Xiaomi disabled the functionality. I did see in one review that it does work.
Quickcharge 4.0 is only supported on the newer Qualcomm SoCs.
Quickcharge will not ruin your device, it acts like a 5V/2.1A charger unless the SoC tells it to charge at a higher voltage 9/12V.
I must test this..Official page says only 5V/2A charging..
qc 3.0 charger test with mi a2 lite
I bought qc 3.0 charger and made a test with my mi a2 lite. I did not see any difference with the 5v/2A charger.
Probably xiaomi disabled qc 3.0 support in mi a2 lite
I confirmed today with a QC 3.0 charger and a voltage/current meter. Device never went above 5V or 2A.
I wouldn't call it a deal breaker, this device will charge @ 10W(5V*2A) to a 14.4W(3.6V*4Ah) battery, so roughly a 2 hr charge time (1.25 hr to 80% and 0.75 to charge the last 20%).
Wireless charger
Does Mi A2 lite support wireless charging?

No It Does Not Support Wireless Charging.
When my Mi A2 Lite is charging it says 'Charging rapidly' and just almost exactly 2 hours from 0% to 100%. For a 4000mah battery that's not bad in my book.
So definitely there is only Fast Charging (5v2A) and no Qualcomm quick charge any version support. Hope it will be supported with new OTA bump to Pie
Mi A2 Lite will say 'Charging Rapidly' on the lock screen. I'm perfectly fine with the 2hr charge time, as 45-60 minutes of charging with this giant battery & 625 lasts longer than my Pixel XL ever had.
Can i charge my a2 lite with VOOC (4A) ?
Is it harmful for my device or is there any chance to blust the battery?
While the Redmi Note 8 supports 18W fast charging and Qualcomm QC 3.0 can it support the Mi 27W Charging ?
i think it don't support 27w ,but even it does you don't wanna lose your battery
If you want to get rid of it just send it to me ^............^
