[Q] LG G3 D855 - Download mode or Recovery

Hi all,
I have spent hours on google and xda trying to find a solution to my problem.
This is what happened:
I installed by fastboot mode: the boot.img and recovery.img, but mistakenly uploaded files V10. (My current version is V20)
No enters Download mode and Recovery. Instead, LED lights are lit in blue and red.
The phone runs smoothly.
I am open to any suggestions as you truly are my last resort.

No recovery and no download mode, but you can boot normally and if yes , are you root ?
I don't understand all, you are on 20H stock version and you can flash by fastoot commands the boot and recovery ?

You are root and the G3 boot normaly and run ?
If yes we can flash by dd commands kitkat aboot and kitkat , bump boot and custom recovery

Aboot and laf are downgrade to kitkat, bump boot and custom recovery will also be installed
Make sure you are enable USB Debuging Mode
@bender_007 , here it's the kitkat boot witch was flashed, autorec don't work I think ?

I don't think his system is bootable, because of bootloader(don't know what else he flashed)
But autorec would run over the current kernel so it would be fine if he could boot, which he can't .
Can you still access fastboot ?

No I think of having understood that he can start normally the G3 but have not download mode or recovery mode. His g3 run slowly because of kitkat boot.
I thought of making him install alls files by commands lines because I because I am afraid that by restoring only Lollipop stock boot it's bricked the G3

Ok, let me know what you think he needs (can't look into it right now, busy) but will create a flashable

He have not recovery, flashable can't work. He can just apply commands line with adb like this I think : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59931455&postcount=104
I wanted just to make sure that Autorec can be or not a solution of his problem

How do I Flash Stock ROM and Recovery on ZenFone 2

Hi guys, I want to recover my ZenFone 2 to stock to remove TWRP to do the OTA, but idk how to do it at all. I am complete noob, never before done this things. Someone can pls help me 100% step by step ty.

Z00AD. I have the 551ml 2gb.

Download an official ROM for your Zenfone 2 and the official recovery of the version of your rom.
Boot your phone on Fastboot mode
Start shell and type "fastboot devices"
If your device is detected, you're saved
Then type "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" (with the .img in your recovery.zip)
Then boot in recovery mode -> Press power button + volume up button
"Apply update from adb"
Type "adb sideload UL-********.zip" on your shell
Wait and enjoy your stock rom

what is shell? and i can see the new update on gen, can I use that as stock rom? and about recovery is that what's in there too?

I know what ABD is, just not shell. I rooted it in the first place after all.

my firmware version is (2.13.40.13) and my problem is that is has a problem in recovery when ive selecting recovery it rebooting only even ive hold power button + volumeup
how can i update it to higher version?
and does updating to higher ones replace the previous recovery?
and which is better higher version of lp or higher version of mm?
help how to update my firmware to that if that so?

yep ive already done that because ive recently bricked my zenfone 2 and now revive it using that procedure but sadly my firmware is at super lower 2.13.40.13 i want to update it to latest or to latest marmmallow ! but i didnt know the procedure yet ! im afraid of having bootloop again and again !

So you must've flashed that raw file in AFT?
Then all you have to do is flash the latest raw instead .
Can I ask you a question.
Is your serial number correct in boot loader ?

the serial that appeared in aft ? ive think (123456789abcdef)
dont know if thats the correct format
right know im searching latest raw file for ze551 then flash it to aft right then after that?
where do i get the images files that ive flash in cmd like what ive do in previous unbricking method?
and flashing thru aft with latest raw file of ze551 will required that cmd command?

Don't do anything just yet , you need your serial corrected , which if not will affect your recovery
collection of raw files on xda by realyoti.
I think .194 LP is the last one he got
You only flash it in boot loader...using AFT .
It is important to do the two part flash in AFT for restoring serial.
Check my unbrick thread , for video and AFT download...from 2:17 mins in .
Before it is xFSTK flash ..which you don't need cause you already in boot loader.
AFT raw flash from 2:17 mins in, follow procedure , at 5:56 mins in -- cmds in blue on phone screen stays on `RESULT=OK` . Shut down , force close AFT , open AFT again - load it up with raw again and press vol+ once , and finish the flash -- serial number will be corrected now ! DO NOT dislodge the data lead while doing this procedure -- let the 2nd flash finish , it will boot into system by itself , recovery will now work correctly too !

and after flashing latest raw files will my recovery goes back to normal what i mean is i go to recovery when wipe and format belongs?

im done thank you very much for this ive already done ... im just download the latest raw file then flash it to aft then it automatically reboot and done .. ive got it latest firmware next is how to safe root ..

Is your serial corrected ? which will correct recovery problems too ?

I'm with the unlock bootloader problem even in rom stock.
I lock bootloader again, and then use that?
It only works if you use custom rom? Or also in stock?

The bat file it blocks before unlocking is only put in fastboot and run the file without fear.

After I used it with Lollipop droidboot ww t00j stock .78 I had problems with camera. It works only with kitkat?

have you worked on method to re-lock bootloader..

bricked my bootloader
After flashing this I couldn't access my fastboot. Now I can't even boot to system. I'm stuck at the USB logo, where usually I could reboot to fastboot (via pressing Power & Vol +) to fix this. But now I can't even access fastboot. When I press Power & Volume Up, it shows a battery icon. Please do help @XHook.

Your tool uses Fastboot of 4.3 version right? Is that the difference?

Note : When I installed this version >> 3.24.40.87 latest stock lollipop firmware

I was using a custom recovery (TWRP) at that time so I flashed a fastboot via install. If you aren't using a custom recovery, you'd probably want to check this out: Zenfone 5 A500CG, Zenfone 6 A600CG Last chance to debrick (This fix youre IMEI) by swiczak
About the flashable fastboot, try searching for it in the Help & Troubleshooting part, I think the user who upload the flashable fastboot zip was tank0412. Try PM-ing him. Sorry can't help you about this 'cause I forgot where I saved mine.

Okay, not enough information, since you are using cwm temporary I am guessing you have not unlocked your boot loader which will cause the fail, can you get into the bootloader?
If you can follow the instructions and download the current rooted Rom and follow instructions to flash the stock rom

You can't flash asus firmware with cwm.
You can unbrick with adb sideload.
See THIS GUIDE how to sideload

I am done here, if you choose to follow advice to try using temp cwm to fix your phone I am sure you fail, your best solution is to use bootloader to flash, everything you need is in this thread, if you choose not to do the proper research before you start flashing things without doing the proper research before then you are beyond help here.

it says in device manager " asus android bootloader interference"
and in the phone its says normal boot and there is icon of open android/
and it written in blue "continue the fast boot process

try "fastboot devices"
if it answers than try flashing twrp or stock recovery
command to flash recovery "fastboot flash recovery filename.img"
after that u can try to flash custom rom using twrp or stock rom via twrp or stock firmware using adb sideload

I manage to make it work and install cm 13 the latest nightly.but when I make a call or receive one the phone reboots itself. What is the problem? Thanks

Update to latest miui 10 then
First you must unlock the bootloader if you haven't yet. Try to Google it
Second you flash twrp, the latest one. There's a version here and another on the official twrp website. You can find both very easily. To flash twrp, start you phone in download mode, connect it to PC and from CMD send the command "fastboot flash recovery yourtwrpfile.img"
From twrp you must do a full format of the storage to make sure you're decrypted.
After that you can flash any P ROM by following the steps provided on the ROMs thread.

You don't have to flash another ROM after twrp and you can still use miui, but make sure that you flash magisk so you don't lose twrp as Miui overwrites stock recovery.
