Hi guys I have a big problem with my vibe K5 a6020l36, I Just enter to TWRP to the clean section and perform a hard data (the button of hard data) after that I can't enter to bootloader, the phone just show bootloader splash screen (TWRP) and then reboot to the system (AEX 5.3), I can't show TWRP menu.
What have I done?
1. I tryed to change the bootloader: I tried to install other version of TWRP and I have the same result.
2. I tried to enter to bootloader with ADB commands and I had the same result (reboot to system)
3. I tried to install some zip with an app and is unsuccessful
I think the bootloader was blocked by an app, because this problem happened when I tried to add a corporate account and I can't remember the password to enter to the phone and I just enter TWRP and touch hard data button from clean menu.
If anybody have a solution please write here! I don't want to lose my phone!, I just can't enter to bootloader to reinstall the system but I can use the actual system with many bugs, (some apps crashing, I can't perform root or install zips from recovery.
Some commands to unblock recovery or fix this?

So basically I flashed TWRP and it worked. Then, I installed pure AOSP ROM (forgot which one) without the gapps. And that's when I realize, I haven't really root the ROM and when I try to get to TWRP via buttons, it didnt work. It shows that secure booting error and cause : boot certification verify.
Can anyone please write the procedure to boot to TWRP again? Thanks in advance.
(Please note that I don't have root and GAPPS, so no flashify etc. Also, I have an unlocked bootloader)
Enable USB debugging and try ADB:
Code:
adb reboot recovery
Another way with the hardware keys:

I just tried it and you can confirm the factory reset 3 times as described without having a real factory reset. Instead of a factory reset it just starts TWRP after a short while.
Hello. OnePlus 3. Strange problems. I can see DM-Verity 50/50. And 50/50 need type password to start system. Need press "BACK" or type password from system (standard android, pin-code/graphical key, etc.)
I flash stock OxygenOS via stock recovery with full wipe (erase everything) but have bootloop, if force reboot - loading successful, but reboot next time, modem(connection) don't working.
I tried this method and deleted DM verity, but entering the password is also required.
Next reboot DM-Verity remains.

Also i tried mega unbrick method, using programm (1GB)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/guide-mega-unbrick-guide-hard-bricked-t3405700
This installed OxygenOS ~3.1.2. But problems remains.
TWRP now. I can't flash stock recovery via fastboot flash recovery recovery_op3.img
Ok it's flashes, but when i try enter - black screen and smartphone off.
What need make, that would completely remove DM-Verity and password. And flash latest stock recovery and OxygenOS.
Mega Please Help.
GO!

Restore to latest Marshmallow firmware.
Be sure to have locked bootloader (both from ADB and developer settings), then upgrade via OTA.
You just have to check and confirm for update.
It worked for me
after receiving a phone with a problem Gyro sensors and aceelérmetre, I tried to solve the problem by installing twrp and trying other ROMs, but one moment the phone does not want to start and stays every time in the start screen installation infinitly
i still have access to twrp, and i tried all knowns solutions except flashing throw EDL mode
Please help me
More details required!
What rom did you try to install.
And before testing other roms. You should have checked that it wasn't a hardware problem (faulty device) with stock rom.
^^^ Tap on kernel version a few times in about would open a service menu, where it is possible to test hardware.
MIUI doesn't boot with TWRP installed if you don't flash lazyflasher or use a TWRP version that includes it.
Question: does your phone stay permanently in this mode? What rom did you install and what type of ARP do you have? What version of twrp do you have? I remember I had the same issue because I force encrypted my phone accidentally but then it just didn't start sometimes. That's why I am asking.
Option 1: go back to twrp -> format your device (should erase all sort of encryption and it has the same effect as a factory reset as well) -> reinstall custom rom and your stuff again -> flash lazy flasher or Magisk (that should take care of dm verity & force encryption as well).
Option 2: check your ARP version (fastboot getvar anti) custom roms usually don't have any firmware whatsoever and as long as you don't downgrade you are safe anyway. Just to be safe: if you are on version 3 everything should be fine, if you are on 4 you have to do some research what to do but it's not a big deal to be honest.
Option 3: Install redwolf instead of twrp (then you don't need to flash lazyflasher as well) -> install rom.
Tell me if anything has worked.
Installing recovery either via fastboot flash recovery recovery.img -> power off -> power on + volume up -> allow modification to system partition.
Or do it like fastboot boot recovery.img -> install (in your recovery) -> select image (bottom right) -> flash recovery.img (works especially good with ARP v4)
Either way after that do your thing in case you want to change/update your twrp or redwolf.
Boot screen problem
I am using orange fox recovery r10. When i flash havoc os 3.0, evolution x os and other os it always stuck in boot screen. It just opens with the pixel experience rom only. And when i tryed to restore my phone rom it shows "mount read only" . I am using redmi note 5 pro (whyred). Please help me to solve my problem.
if i were you, i will boot to twrp - boot to fastboot - flash miui using fastboot. if you're not confident google how to do it.
Hi all.
I have a phone stuck in boot loop. It's a stock ROM, Android 7.1.2 (January 2018) but I dont have exact image reference (Wileyfox/switf/crackling 7.1.2/N2G48B/eeea277114 from recovery mode) . Secure boot is still enabled and phone is locked, but I have the unlock schema
When the phone boots, it stucks approximately 2 seconds after the lock screen. The screen then turns off and it reboots after a few minutes. If I am fast enougth, I sometimes have time to unlock but it freezes immediately after, and reboot after a while.
It started after the phone has been turned off. The last application installed is the GEEV application. Maybe it's the cause, or maybe the phone is full.
What I tried:
As stated in Facebook Wileyfox post ( unable to post full url: officialwileyfox/posts/1844545742523409),
I can access the safe mode (vol down at Wileyfox logo), but it does not change anything, it still stucks and I can not deactivate the last application installed.
I can access the bootloader and recovery mode, but I cannot access it via adb / fastboot (linux), I suppose because I cannot enable acces in devolopper mode in phone setting. I tried to update an older image from SD card, but the phone refused to downgrade to an older image.
I also tried to wipe cache partition.
Photo and contacts are backup, only SMS are not backup and I would like to access it.
Do you have any suggestion to access user partition or unblock the phone wihout wiping user data?
Thanks
If you can reach recovery mode there should be a phone reset option that can clear the apps.
Here are recovery mode choices:
-Reboot system
-Reboot to booloader
-Apply update from ADB
-Apply update from SD card
-Wipe data/factory reset
-Wipe cache partition
-View recovery logs
-Run graphics test
-Power off
I already tried wipe cache partition without result.
But I didn't try wipe data as this will also wipe SMS, won't it?
SMS should be saved to the cloud and restored when you enter your gmail account after the reset.
No it's not saved, that's why I need to access the phone if there is a way
If you can unlock the bootloader you could install twrp recovery which has an mtp mode which would give you access to your files. Suspect unlock bootloader will not be available to you.
The so far...
Installed TWRP
Noticed I could not boot into factory ROM - TWRP boot loop?
Tried to factory reset from TWRP - failed; Data could not be mounted.
Changed the file system of Data to extf2; Repaired Data; Changed Data back to extf4
Factory Reset - completed
Still could not enter factory ROM - TWRP boot loop?
ADB sideload PixelExperience Custom ROM - allowed TRP to push app; boots into ROM to initial setup (G with progress bar) but doesn't advance after 15 minutes
Vol down + power -> Menu > Recovery
TWRP asks for password to decrypt data (**Edit - this is TWRP's initial screen after Logo)
*Edit* at no point in the life of this device (I bought it brand new) was it ever encrypted
At no point did I ever set a password or try to encrypt data. How do I fix this?

.
Did not work.
Take a breathe...
In TWRP mount internal storage and select all toggles... Back to TWRP main menu select wipe / format data - type ´yes´
To wipe the rest go back to wipe / select all toggles and wipe it
Now you can flash like your way... If you want to sideload you must activate it in TWRP by Sideload /ADB... otherwise you can flash from external storage i.e. USB stick or whatever you want....
Format data partition is important to decrypt and wipe possible encryptions...
In future pls don´t change the data formats i.e. extf2 / exft4 or let repair them in TWRP in case you can´t handle it via ADB... TWRP is a nice tool but too many ppl bricked several devices by using this method or use unofficial shady versions...
If you try to flash PE you can push the rom on internal storage after fullwipe and after a recovery restart you can install it from internal storage...
I remember some strange TWRP times where we have to mount internal storage and partitions - and yes - before installing some stuff I´ve take a look on mounting points
