Removed - Xiaomi Mi A1 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Outdated non-working zip.... Should've removed it earlier... Leaving the zip just as a backup of the default Android One Boot Animation (in case you screw yours, you would need to manually extract the bootanimation from the zip and copy it to /system/media)...

Thanks!
It's Magisk flashable or twrp?

Viper4Android on Jan build with 2.66 root

I recently flashed the newest January build and lost all data so I started fresh with 2.66 root, my biggest issue is that I cannot get viper4android working. I've read every thread out there but no luck.

@bouchigo created a flashable zip that can be downloaded here. This zip file patches your existing kernel.
Flash this zip through TWRP and reboot your phone. Go to the root directory of your sdcard and you should see the Viper4Android apk. Install this apk and delete the /vendor/etc/audio_effects.conf file.

Moto E4 Plus Stock Images (owens NPR26.58-25)

Here's a link to the important stock stuff for the Qualcomm Moto E4 Plus. Specifically the boot.img, recovery.img, system.img, fsg.bin, logo.bin, and modem.bin.
I'm too new to post links, but just go to tinyurl dot com /yauppmbc
I'm not 100% sure if system.img will flash correctly, but using
Code:
dd if=/sdcard/system.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p53
should work, just remember to put the system.img in /sdcard first. Also included in the zip is the partition mappings. I used dd to yank them from the phone while booted into TWRP. Huge shout out to @jasonmerc for walking me through this.
My build number is NPR26.58-25

I downloaded the zip twice and both times was unable to extract the zip file. Do I need a specific app or program to extract this to access the .img files in it?

It's corrupted somehow. It's just a normal zip, nothing special should be needed.

Thanks for letting me know, I'll see if I can reach maerk and tell him to make a new zip
Great, I made a build of Resurrection Remix 7.1.2 for the XT-1775 (Owens) and have no data. I noticed that there are no APN's in the carrier section under settings. It also has no way to add in any new APN's. My guess is that I will have to flash the modem.img and maybe a few more to get this working again. I'm hoping that I don't have to go back to completely stock...lol...

Factory reset and erecovery reset does nothing to /system.
So what ever was flashed is still there. My advise would be to try flash your stock rom. Full-ota only.

If you keep pressing volume up, do you end up in recovery (twrp), or does it still continue to bootloop?

ok, thats good.
Not sure what got changed on device during bad install, so suggest doing full-ota forced update.
you had oreo , correct?
what device number / model?
1. download the ota-full files from
http://pro-teammt.ru/firmware-database/?firmware_model=bND&firmware_page=0
2. make folder on external sdcard "HWOTA8"
3. put downloaded files into folder with no-check-oreo-recovery
4. put hwota-7-&-8-update.zip in folder
5. twrp install hwota-7-&-8-update.zip
it will install the update files, you will be back to working stock emui 8, ready for you to start modding it again.
(possibly might need factory reset when done, to clear remaining bad files from bad install)
hwota-7-8-auto, with no-check recovery download

Is it a term to describe the file
Or a separate file

there is a modified stock recovery that is used to install ota update files. It has been modified to "not check" version numbers. So it will install anything.
It is included in the zip fie at the download link I shared

I gave you the link with the hwota and no-check recovery is in the same zip file.
Your update files , well you need to find your build number on the teammt-pro page that I gave the link to. Then click on file list, it will show three files download links.

lineage kernel

Friends most of the kernels are easily available for our device but a flashable zip of lineage kernel is still not there i think and its my favorite kernel in terms of performance....
Can someone help me about how can i get a flashable zip of lineage kernel ....?
just download and ROM zip and extract the boot.img file from it.
flash it using TWRP over the boot partition.
the procedure is identical for other ROMs as well.
PS: i know this is not a flashable .zip but it pretty much works the same; but you will need to flash magisk again if you were rooted before.
here is the boot.img file from LOS16.0 02/12/2019:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1H8cRdrFNwlAU2JY9_ynzB4x6oHpxuMtj/view?usp=sharing
on a different note, i personally recommend using Bubblewrap HMP kernel with LOS.

Hey bro... Tried this method but phone does not boot to system..... Only boots to bootloader...... Any suggestions

[Question] What is the right way to Update to Magisk 25 and if it is necessary.

So I tried to update my redmi note 8 [12.06. global rom android 10] to magisk 25 in the MAGISK MANAGER and after flashing it there, it showed "The system has been destroyed".
So I troubleshoot it (thanks to the guides here) and reverted to the magisk 24 version prior to 25.
So my question is what is the right way to update it (if anyone has a GUIDE to update magisk) and if it is necessary to update to magisk 25.

ohh ok I'll keep that zip method in mind in the future.
So in short flash it in twrp (install > find magisk 25.zip and shazam)? correct me if I'm wrong I'm quite a newbie in twrp.
I have to agree to your saying that if it works don't fix lol.
