I have an HTC M8 Dual Sim that was running Android 6.1 i tried to flash it to Lineage 15.1 Oreo but this went completely wrong.
Tried a lot of stuff i found on the forums and am now at a stage that i have twrp running, but that is it. no rom on the device anymore and each different rom i try to install gives errors of some kind..
Don't know how to proceed anymore... help would be most welcome

I am using lineage os 15.1 on my lenovo k6 power (karate)..... i have installed the stock 8.1 gapps package .... everything is working except the camera application.... first it was working ...but when i updated it jn the playstore.... it kept force stopping everytime..... please help me if there is any fix to this problem....like any google camera flashable zip....or stuff like that.

One Plus 6
I see that for the moment both have no official support, do you think it will happen for both?
What do you think ?
After I wondered, if I have an older version of stock android and I install a recent version of custom ROM, will it upgrade the kernel version and android?

I don't have either devices and your correct with no existing Official LineageOS builds for either device at this point in time but, your best bet is to go with one of the Unofficial builds. Don't be afraid to ask for some member guidance within one of them as well.

Thank you for your help, I see that the official version of LOS is 15.1, how is it that the non-official is in version 16?
If I flash an unofficial rom and the official goes out, I'll have to go into stock-rom and flash the custom rom again?

I don't see any Official LineageOS released yet but, to cross to and from Official to Unofficial would require starting over again.
Device/Firmware specific questions for them should be asked within those threads to receive a more accurate answer.

I am unable to bootup my device after flashing lineage 15.1
firstly i was using lineageOS 15.1 with my Redmi 4X(santoni), then swithed to [ROM]-[Official]-[15.11.18]-Havoc-OS-[9.0] .
after few hours i tried switched again on lineageOS 15.1 with TWRP but cant bootup, it gets stuck on lineageOS boot animation
(already waited for 1 hour)
tried for 2-3 times always stuck on boot animation
what should i do??

Lineage used to boot fine without gapps (like many other ROMs) before they enforced priv-app permissions (and, their hotword permission is rekt, which needs gapps package to fix). Thus, for now, gapps are needed to boot lineage.
I'm looking for ROM with Android 9 pie for moto z2 play device I tried several methods by GSI I tried the KVT and tried all but no ROMs like Lineage OS and mokee OS, resurrection remix OS and other ROMs work fine but the method by GSI gave fail and all say that date is corrupted wanted to know if it has any ROM available with Android 9 need help installing a GSI on the device someone from the forum can help me.
does anyone have any ROM with Android 9.0 running that can pass the rom link or some more effective method to install Android 9.0 on the device

even if it is old think that on the part of the manufacturer there was so much support and both the developers share think this device does not have a future so promising had a lot of abandonment of ROMs like Lineage OS and pixelexperience I think I'm almost wanting to change the device by another think there will not be much for this device since it is becoming outdated
