I try many methods online and non worked, I search and no luck to backup current ROM before doing any root to device in case something wrong happen.
so I need to backup it, rather then try and search and download it.
maybe it's going to complex, current ROM is Android 7.1.1 NMB26.54-94
Seems no one is using this smartphone.
There is no way to do it or what?

Thanks, I'm already have a working one. It's this Chinese TWRP with the English language add on. I'm desperately trying to find a rom which is not from Huawei because their original roms are really poor.

here you can find the recovery
Can someone please tell me how i can enablle Require Pin to Start Device.
This option does not pop up when i create a screen lock pin like in Stock Android. Even though the PIN is set the bootloader opens up without asking for the PIN. is there as way we can do.
I don't know About the feature of locking bootloader with PIN , but after setting PIN and restarting the device, It asks For PIN, not FPS.
Yeah.. Not sure on the bootloader part... But rest works fine... My other devices (oneplus3, zenfone2 with lineage os) ask pin for getting into recovery after i setul this required pin to start device...

I dont think so, I found that this isnt just a issue with Honor 8 Pro but with EMUI in general.

Head over to the custom ROMs thread in development forum. If you are coming from stock, unmodded EMUI, you need to format data to remove encryption. Otherwise your phone will ask a password on boot, which the users don't know.

You need to flash a boot image with forceencrypt flag turned off. Read more on the TWRP thread.

Yes but this is only noticeable on low end devices. You will not notice it anymore on high end devices.

Has anybody found an exploit to root this handset?
Just read up on it. I rooted my G3123 with a quick search here. You will use a root method for the Ultra. I'll look for it when I have time and post you the link. The only problem is supposedly the image quality on pictures goes down, but I didn't notice anything on my phone.

Can someone please elaborate on the guide posted. It seems as though to flash the TWRP you FIRST need to flash that guys custom kernel, is this correct? I want to keep my current kernel while also installing TWRP, is this possible?

HI, I have a H815P (on Nougat) got it for the great camera, and I know the bootloader cannot be unlocked but am I right to assume also that I therefore cannot root or flash any custom ROMs? thanks
I'm a recent H815P owner too and after searching for a few days I've come to the conclusion that it is impossible. That sucks for someone like me coming from a no-limits Galaxy S3.

Refer to the following thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/lg-g4-100-root-success-directives-root-t3180586
Note: Your ability to downgrade to 5.1 with LGUP-NEW will depend on the anti-rollback version of your current kdz ... google it on how to find out or start by clicking on steadfasterX's signature in any of his threads - he has listed all currently known in one of his threads.

Hi everyone, i want to update my LG k10 2017 M250E to OREO and I have a few questions :
- Which guide should I follow ? there a lot of them on the forum and I don't know which one is the best
- Is there any risk to this update ? I keep reading some sound problems after the update
- Which version is available to my model ?
Anyone ?
No one ? :/

Try this, If something happens, just flash the stock and try another method.
