I have a Sony Xperia XA1 Plus Dual Sim (G3426) and I would like to install Mirrorlink to connect it to the multimedia system of my car (VW - Golf).
Has anyone already installed it ? If so, how and where can I find the packages as well as the installation mode, Xperia XA1 Plus is not certified Mirrorlink by Sony.

If you want to install MirrorLink, go here https://www.apkmirror.com/?post_type=app_release&searchtype=app&s=MirrorLink and install ALL THE THREE apps from Sony. You'll have MirrorLink fully working.

Small update 8/3.
My phone:
Device:
Sony T3 s55u dual-sim LTE
China Unicom version
19.2.1.A.0.72
Phone was bought from China. Pre-installed sony come with Baidu search enabled android and by default phone block installation of Google Services app, which enable google apps to function in the phone.
This is pretty useless for any English speaker so I want to install Android Lollipop - Cyanogen.
It turns out that Sony has decided not to support this version for lollipop - xperiablog - 2015/03/06
I have also realized that this is probably same hardware (or very close) to C3 Dual model in english speaking markets. I trust that same ROM would work in both of these two simcard phones.
Currently Sony's unlockbootloader software does not regognize these models in their website - developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/
I've tried to root with:
- Sony's unlockbootloader
- rootkitxperia
All above fails. Phone should allow rooting according to settings. It seems very hard to find any instructions on how to do upgrade successfully.
Any advice/update much appreciated.

Not Sure. It is probably same model, made for Chinese market as a C3.

Or what happen if I install g3112 Central Europe customized software? Hard brick or anything?

I wouldn't flash Single SIM firmware on Dual SIM device ...So G3121 is out of question.
Though I think G3112 on G3116 should have no side effects
IFF they have same partition layouts.
Afaik , the difference between these devices is only the basebands.
However sometimes Sony re arranges the partition layout for different devices.
I am curious on why you want to cross-flash firmwares tho

i don't want to do that if i were you, even i flashed xa1 dual (factory firmware) into xa1 dual (updated) (g3116), and fail, now the phone is dead, only red led no vibration, no boot, no recovery, and no sony center :crying:

Going to Software updates it's says it's up to date but if i go to Sony Support webpage and enter my IMEI it's displaying a message that oreo android 8 is ready for my device. That kind a contradicts what my mobile shows.
My question is how can I get Oreo ? Is there somethign hidden ? Is sony trolling me ?)
Can somebody please throw some light and help me out? I have read somewhere that HK market phones do not get oreo(dunno why) but i don't know if mine is HK market or not. Phone details below:

Hey Victor.
Sometimes they take time to roll out. If the IMEI says, you are eligible for Oreo , then you will get oreo soon.
You have customized UK firmware and not HK one.
You can use XperiFirm Tool to check if rollout has become for your device.

According to xperifirm ,the latest available ROM is nougat so you will have to be patient.

Hello Victor
If you want Oreo now then you must software repair through Xperia Companion and if you do software repair then do backup your data in internal storage to sd card and use Xperia Companion for the rest of the backup.
