S8+ unlocked - how to flash new T-Mobile Oreo update - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S8+ Questions & Answers

Samsung is lagging with the Oreo update for the US unlocked S8+, even the carriers have released it by now. Can anyone point me in the right direction to update my unlocked S8+ to official Oreo? Thanks!

Unlocked AT&T branded Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Nougat update

Hi,
I am from India and am using an unlocked samsung galaxy note 5 with AT&T branding. I am unable to receive OTA updates because I am not from USA nor do i have AT&T Sim which means that I am still stuck at Android Lollipop version 5.1.1 (N920AUCU2AOJ1).
Can I flash the Nougat 7.0 firmware N920AUCU4EQC6 using odin without installing any previous releases? I mean from Lollipop version 5.1.1 (N920AUCU2AOJ1) to Nougat 7.0 (N920AUCU4EQC6) directly or I need to flash the previous updates first !!
Please help.

Beware:
It's a one way road, you can not go back to Lollipop. At present your device is rootablle.
I'm experencing a bluetooth issue on Nougat (https://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-note5/help/bluetooth-issue-nougat-t3747413)

T-Mobile current OS still root-able?

Is the latest TMobile variant OS still able to be rooted and the bootloader unlocked on the z2 force?
Wondering when I get mine, should I update to the latest and then unlock the bootloader and root?
My phone is on backorder for another week.
The Oreo update was pulled; current version is 7.1.1 with August 2017 security patch. Should be able to root.

Reverting back to Nougat from Oreo using ODIN.

Hey guys
I updated my phone my Galaxy S8 (Verizon) by sideloading the leaked Oreo update a few months back but now that Verizon is officially a pushing out Oreo I need to revert back to Nougat and get the OTA Oreo instead.
My issue is I can't seem to find the stock Verizon firmware for the regular GS8
Can anybody help?

Is 8.0 an official release for the S7 Active?

Hi,
I just received my S7 Active from eBay. I cannot do the OTA to 8.0 is it because it still unreleased? I know there is threads to flash to 8 but if its not supported and a leaked version I will wait until something is more official.
No sim inside yet but I don't think it matters for OTA updates.
it is official. software updates will only download to your device if you are on the ATT network and have a active ATT sim installed.

Will G5 Sprint get an official oreo update ever?
