How to fix the SIM Contacts in ALL CDMA ports,and Group in ALL Slide ports

如果你想自己动手修复这些问题那么好吧，用smali把com.htc.framework.jar的dex打开，修复我下面提到的2个文件就可以了，当然，你可能只需要修改一处。
Hi guys,
I and my friend flzyup are working on a newer slide port for weeks,but not finished yet. we got a lot of problems.Luckily,not everything goes worst,we found the way to enable the SIM contacts option in CDMA port and replace a stock Group instead of the broken Fave in Slide port.
The answer is
com.htc.framework.jar(sorry for a wrong file name posted)
We found that there are a lot of switches to enable or disable some special functions.
one of them called : isEspresso()Z at BuildUtils$Customization.smali
What that meaning?yes,we found this parameter make your contacts shows Fave or Group.So,change it from 0x1 to 0x0 can switch the Fave to stock Group,and sync to Gmail contact normally.

and,another one called isCdma()Z at BuildUtils.smali,oh,you got it,right,change it can shows SIM contact option which in People view menu in your CDMA ports.and make you can disable the SIM contacts lists in your People list.

It's a very good discovery. And it's very interesting. Htc did a ****ing convenient way for us to modify the smali files.

nice done. Ive been searching alot for a way to disable SIM contacts but wasnt able to find a solution.

Guiz do you think there is a way to modify the .jar file directly into a precompiled and installed ROM? I have the ROm i'm using and i love it but it has the Sim contact problem, if possible i would like to modify the file in order to be abel to hide SIM.
Any of you can give me some indication on howto do?

Of course,but you must give me the ROM's name,or I can make a patch update.zip for you to fix it and keep your personal options and data too.
If you're using VillainROM5.x,go to villainrom.co.uk and download my patch there.

ok does this work? i disabled sim contacts on SuperHero but sim contacts still showed up.
Using cronos 1.3 but that sim option is not there.
Can someone please make an update zip with the patch please?

Cronos can't have this disabled as far as I know.

Problem rooting

I got problem att step #3 "Flash SO-02F_14.1.H.1.281_docomo.ftf (WIPE: select all, EXCLUDE: select none)"
SO-02F_14.1.H.1.281_docomo.ftf IS located in flashtool/firmware folder
Flashtoool is open , i click ón flash but the file does not show up as on option to use.
Verison 14.3.A.0.681
Kernel 3.4.0-perk-g8c33725
What is it im doing wrong?

Or am i supposed to use flashmode at step 3?
i see to have problem starting that too for some reason, i start phone while pusing volume down, but it starts normaly, No flahsing Led etc.'

Wouldt say i struggle, But buttom line is i cant get 'SO-02F_14.1.H.1.281_docomo.ftf' to show up in flashtool, im trying and it feels ridiciouls its not like im sitting at a computer for the first time, but there someting im missing.
Im new to android, never had problem like this unlocking other OS in the past.

Welcome to Sony. Reboot your comp and if it still doesn't show up then god knows.

Have you got latest version of flashtool installed?
Not near my pc, but am sure theres the option to browse for the ftf file in flashtool? Just make sure source folder is pointed to the firmware folder your ftf is in and flash.

I know this is the same method. But for the sake of you doing it good can you try and follow the EXACT steps on here and see if you're able to download the firmware:

I'll google around and see if somebody already has it, but you are aware you can flash any 16gb tmo .kdz right? There are guides on here, just search and you will find.

I've never heard of this before. Can you try viewing the source of the page (CTRL+U on this page: http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=IMEI) and see if you can see the URL there? COuld you also post a screenshot of the page where the sw_url is empty?

Unfortuantely I have no idea why you cannot see the fw url. I also didn't find your kdz file on Google. Maybe somebody else already has it.

I want to update the Lumia 550 running 10.0.15063.608 to latest version of Windows 10 Mobile (Fall Creators)
How can I do it?

you need interop unlocked device
in registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo
change "PhoneMobileOperatorName" value 000-xx (xx you dont change is only example and is phone country code, for example if TMO-ES, xou change to 000-ES, three zero, not OOO)

My 1020 (interop unlocked to look like a 950) is stuck on that same version. I'm going to try it out on mine and see if it works.
Update: It worked: I'm now on 15063.728.
Update2: After that, I was able to update to 15254.12 through the settings.

The only part you need is about interop unlocking and registry, which is what dxdy just said.

Why do you need to make the 550 mimic anything. It is one of the last phones Microsoft released, comes shipped with Windows 10 Mobile and is supported currently up to build 1709.
Maybe there is something I missed...? Simply put it on the internet and take the updates as they come. Are you getting an error if you attempt to download/install a newer build?

Yeah this is V5 algorithm very difficult to crack. You might have to buy the unlock code, which is expensive.

its not working

The new firmware versions of Huawei devices require a 16-character unlock code. I think nobody has found a way to calculate it. It is time we stop supporting Huawei products, and other manufacturers should step up their game.

I'm going to assume that you're talking about the IMEI.
From my limited knowledge, altering the IMEI is impossible as it is directly associated with the hardware.
And even if it was, it'd require dismantling this complex piece of technology.
