Hi. Could you explain a bit? Is there any way to install it without root, without custom recovery installed, without wiping anything but with all weather functionality?

@akaSStalkALEX this posst is for how to enable google assistant not the launcher. And for that also you need to have custom recovery installed and its for androind 7.0+.
Heres apk you can install dont need root just google page on left is not working it needs to be installed as system app to be working.

For activate weather goto settings>apps>show system apps from top right menu>find pixel launcher app and grant all permission and it will work.

I granted all the permissions already and its still not working. I am using xperia z2 existenz 5.0 deodexed
after opening the menu the background is white in colour .. that's pretty annoying , will it be possible for me to change it to black , or may be transparent ??
Works like a charm on my Z3 existenz 5.6.5 no problem at all
For peeps who's fail or got issue please give info what ROM, odex / deodex I'm sure it'll help Dev while porting an app
can we get 5 apps on the dock? like the real pixel?

Okay, thank you very much for the clarification, I got it. What do you think will there be any possibility to work it without root in future?
Hey is the shortcuts function included in this version?
It doesn't work for me!
How come it only has 4 icons in dock and not 5. Grid size is also 4x5
I revert back to leaked Launcher3 coz have 5 apps on the dock
simple solution for who want 5 apps on te dock is edit the display density to 280 dpi
unrooted device: adb shell wm density 280
Plz add 4x5 drawer app and hide app options
Everything working fine on my Z5.
Thanks a lot!

when u say u have tried you mean lock clean or other substratum themes. substratum themes are known to cause bootloops unless you use swift dark/black or otherwise dont apply the android system overlay.

3. Only_Lock_Icon
But still getting clock on lockscreen.
Please see the screenshot.
You should click on the floating button on the lower right . INSTALL AND ENABLE it should reboot your phone with changes
Edit
I just tried it as well and it removes everything else except the clock.

Hey guys i've updated my device to android oreo but now i can't disable the navigation bar with the build.prop method which worked in the recent android versions.
If i add the "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" line to the build prop my device screen stays black and the phone reboots after some seconds.
Is there another way to fully disable the navigation bar? I want to use pie controls so the global immersive hack is no option for me..
Thanks in advance

You can try flashing this themer. You must have BusyBox installed first. I zeroed out the layout height and width of the navbar.

Hi, did you get these files? If not I can send them to you.
Could you please explain a little more the changes that you're making? Is it absolutely necessary to have busybox installed, or is it possible to make a modified systemui.apk that can be flashed/replaced to achieve the same thing?
Thanks!

These are modified systemui and frameworks being flashed. Busybox is enabling them to be installed. I have a Aroma installer on the 6P forum and it has the navigation bar disable mod in it.

I put the modded framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk for Nexus 6P in the magisk module, filled out config file, and zipped it up. I have no idea if it will work. I've had no luck doing full apk replacements in OREO.

Just tried it. Doesn't work - phone boots correctly but nav bar still there. One thing though is that Magisk no longer displays installed modules after installing your one, but I imagine that's not something you'd know why.
I'm new to themers - how do your mods work via aroma? They don't replace the full apks?

My mods only change in a apk what is necessary for the mod to work. I haven't messed with magisk since official O came out so I don't know if this will work either but this is based on the method I use in my aroma's if you want to try it.

Alternatively, you can install the official Pixel Launcher from here:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/pixel-launcher/
I have it running on my device without root, bear in mind that the Google Now panel will not work
And that you need to enable developer options to use the "Change Icon Shape" feature
:good:

It works for me, I installed it on both stock Oreo and Nougat
This is the one I am using, its the latest on the site
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/googl...el-launcher-odr-4023749-android-apk-download/
Although I believe there should be a new one from the official release of O on the Pixel
One thing mentioned in the comments there is that the package name conflicts with the rootless pixel launcher.
So if you have another Pixel or O launcher installed, you need to uninstall it before installing this one

Weather widget isn't working
I've had the latest official Pixel launcher from apkmirror installed on Android M and O, and the weather widget has worked. You'll have to wait for a while for it to appear instead of the date widget. Very rarely it disappears, maybe once in a month, but it will come back soon.

Does anyone have any guidance on theming the Oreo Beta? I've just downloaded the Andromeda app and client and applying Swift Black now... but I'm looking for any guidance/advice? For those who know something about theming OOS Oreo on the 5, or 3/T,... what can we theme, what do we have to stay away from? Any advice? I was hoping I'd be able to use the OMS themes I loved on my Nexus 6P once we got to Oreo... but I'm not really sure that they won't result in a bootloop knowing how OnePlus' frameworks and system UI aren't really stock android. Any Guidance?
