Hello guys! I wanna know if I can lock my bootl back is I flash a custom recovery and rom. Can I lock my bootloader and come back to MIUI? Can I use MI flash with option clean and lock with custom recovery? Or I need stock?

Miflash will replace custom recovery

And on top of this the answer is that yes if you use mi flash clean and lock option then technically you have warranty back since the phone is locked.
However if the device is compromised to a point where you cannot flash then there's no way to get warranty back.
Tbh the risk is worth it

There's barely a risk with an unlocked bootloader, the real problem arises when you ruin everything with a locked bootloader and you can't even flash anything.

That's actually incredibly true for Xiaomi phones.
Seems the majority of issues arise from LB phones that brick and can't be flashed without test point (voiding warranty anyway)
If you have the rights to unlock the bootloader, then even if you keep locked and it bricks, you can unlock and flash a rom again.
In fact even if you don't want a custom rom or root, asking to be able to unlock bootloader is must, just in case.

From day 1 i wanted to root my nexus, i haven't just encase bugs and stuff. Is root worth risking warranty right now?
You can always flash back to stock and lock the bootloader if rooting didn't appeal to you.

What he said.
Also, rooting and adding ROMs can fix any potential bugs that your phone might have.
And, the sooner you unlock your bootloader, in order to root, the better because unlocking the bootloader erases all your memory. After that, you can back up everything and its all good.
I heard apple has a way to check if you ever jail broke something, it's a possibility that android phones have that too right? Sooooo just locking the bootloader and taking to stock might not get you a new phone right? Or have people not had any problems about returning a previously rooted phone?
if you unlock the bootloader there will be an unlock icon on the splash screen.

i dont think they can see if you rooted your phone. but if you unroot, and lock the bootloader, you will be fine.
Curious.....and I didn't see a thread about why some folks do so
none. its the same thing, just have it relocked when u send it in for warranty purposes + on stock
Like zephiK said: none. There is absolutely zero benefit to relocking the bootloader. On the contrary, there are many disadvantages:
if you ever have to unlock again, it will wipe your data
you cannot use most fastboot commands, which means that, unless you have root, you cannot flash radios, ROMs, backup your data, etc...
People relock their bootloader because, in my opinion, they are not very knowledgeable about how Nexus devices work, and have it in their head that, to be fully stock and receive/install OTA updates, you need to have a locked bootloader. Certainly not the case.
There was a guy on here who wanted to return his phone back to stock for warranty. His USB was broken. He could return everything to stock through the phone, except for locking the bootloader. If it was already locked, the problem wouldn't be there...
Not a good enough reason for me, but it could be a factor in your decision...

I still don't know if I believe that Samsung will not honor the warranty because the bootloader is unlocked, particularly on a device with a re-lockable bootloader.
As we know, HTC honored the warranty on the Nexus One, even though with an unlocked bootloader.

it's not so much the OEM, its more of the carrier.
vzw will not honor anything if the bootloader is unlocked.
Like I said, it's not a factor for me. I unlocked with about 10 minutes of my first full charge, and don't see any value switching back. Everyone is different though, so I thought I would just share this detail, no matter how trivial...

Not really. You can flash a stock ROM and via ROM Manager - you just can't lock the bootloader...
I want custom rom, root and exposed,
But there is the warning of the unlocked bootloader on every boot.
What is the most I can get without this warning?
Thanks a lot.
Nothing wrong.. Tbh I really like that warning since you can easily navigate to recovery, Fastboot etc. Just ignore that warning.

DON'T relock the bootloader as long as your system is modified in any way (custom rom, root ...).
Don't care about the warning, without it you can get absolutely nothing, but using the unrooted stock firmware.
This warning is shown on every thread describing how to unlock the bootloader - if you lock the bootloader with anything that isn't the stock ROM/recovery, then you will brick your device
I personally, have never had any problems with the adb command to lock and unlock the bootloader. The bootloader actually operates independently of the software running. However, why would you want to relock the bootloader, particularly if you intend to flash other ROMs.

I don't like the idea that everyone can wipe my device. I have little brothers and they can do that by accident...

That doesn't depend on a locked bootloader. You CAN'T protect android phones from beeing wiped.

Hey there, is there possible to remove that ugly black screen after unlocking bootloader that appears every boot and freezes 5 sec? Thanks in advance.

Do you want to relock the bootloader or you want to let it unlocked?
I would keep it unlocked and skip the black screen if possible...
I'd like to keep it unlocked since I need root, is it possible to remove it somehow?

I don't think that this is possible to do, even changing the splash logo you can't do that. You could try to relock the bootloader but I never tried doing that on a custom ROM, only on the stock one. I don't remember if after relocking the bootloader with the bootloader status as relocked the initial boot menu is shown. Anyway you could try. I suggest the mauronofrio's tool if you're on Windows. If you are on Linux you have to use the adb and fastboot commands

I assume [re]locking your BL on custom ROM will cause hard-brick. I need root so can't lock BL

I never tried it but at the end maybe yes. I don't think hard brick but it depends on what you exactly mean with hard brick (all the people think the hardbrick as something different lol)

I tried this and yes it cause hard brick to my zuk z2 plus. But i somehow make my exit from hard brick.
I used to have a ZTE Axon 7 that used pretty-much the exact same warning screen as the ZUK Z2. For certain ROMs on the device you had to flash a different bootloader, as provided by developers on XDA. I remember in one of the flashable bootloaders, the developer was able to remove the warning screen somehow. So I think it is possible to do this on the ZUK as well. It just needs someone to look into it.

Yeah just a thing, you can now relock bootloader on z2, on specific Roms. I made a guide for it and it works 100%

That sounds great. Although I just went and read your guide and I noticed it says the 5-second bootloader warning will still be there. Is there no way of getting rid of the warning completely even with a locked bootloader?
i was wondering if i unlocked the bootloader and installed a custom rom i`m not willing to change soon, can i lock the bootloader again while i have this rom?

Certainly you can if you are prepared for a bricked device later. I mean, it is not advisable to lock the bootloader if you have a custom ROM since any issues arise later, you will not be able to solve them. In addition, even if you manage to unlock the bootloader again in such a scenario, you will lose all your data including files, photos, videos etc.
If you properly sign the firmware, you don't even have to unlock the bootloader, see https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3t/how-to/guide-custom-kernels-roms-recoveries-t3572525
