hello, I have a problem with the wifi since yesterday it does not work anymore. The button is grayed out and I can not activate it anymore. I am in global beta 8.2.8 with magisk. the only thing I did yesterday is update magisk manager and make a backup in twrp. I noticed that if I do a wipe cache / dalvik the wifi works again but 30 minutes. and when the problem pops up the Mac address of the wifi is 02: 00: 00: 00: 00: 00

I'm at school where WiFi on my T210R used to work.
I am running Android 4.1.2 on Crash Rom V1.6 with Kernel Version 3.4.5.
Root apps installed are Titanium Backup, Greenify, AdAway, AFwall+ (disabled), Quick CPU Overclock
This is the troubleshooting that I have already done:
-Forget Network
-Turn Off Wifi
-Turn On Wifi
-Reconnect
-Repeat the above, but restart before turning wifi back on
-Wipe Cache in Recovery
-Factory Reset
-WiFi Roaming Fix
The network is built on a set of WiFi repeaters that use WPA2 PSK authentication.
I do not have access to the network (router) settings, so modifying router settings will not work
When entering a correct password, the device will try to connect but will not displace "Obtaining IP Address".
Instead, the device will show "saved, secured" and "authentication error' after a while.
The device will connect to most other networks that I have tried (Tethering on my Lumia 920, D-Link DIR 655 at home)
Thoughts? This is getting slowly becoming frustrating!
I had similar issues when flashing ROMs. It turned out that my router had some security mechanisms in place and conflict was caused when the same device came in with different ROMs on it. My guess is perhaps MAC related. At any rate, a router reboot fixed it. I know that doesn't help you much sorry.

The same problem. Is there any solution?
Same problem here after flashing Magisk 17.
Did you find a solution?
I could fix my WiFi problem.
I've checked the system log (logcat) and saw this line:
Code:
WifiHW : Cannot set RW to "/data/misc/wifi/p2p_supplicant.conf": Operation not permitted
So I have backed up p2p_supplicant.conf and deleted it. After a reboot WiFi was working again
The WiFi passwords are gone though.

Yeeeessss! I had the same error after a faulty update of Magisk (v17.0).
The suppress of p2p_supplicant.conf + reboot : WiFi is working again. No loss of passwords for me.
Thanks a lot for sharing the solution :good:
doesn't work for me

Hi,
I recently performed a software update on my samsung s21 FE and after the phone rebooted, it could not find a cell signal. I was receiving data, but I could not call or text. After about an hour the phone picked up a signal and connected to the network. I wasn't doing any kind of changes to settings at this time. Later on in the evening, I restarted the phone just for testing purposes and it did the same thing. No signal for about 20 minutes after restart and then it just connected to the network without reason. I tried the following troubleshooting steps, but they didn't fix the issue:
Reboot (again)
Reset network settings
toggle airplane mode
Reseated SIM card while the phone was off
Phone details:
Total Wireless network
Model number: SM-G990U1/DS
Firmware: G990U1UEU3CVG2
Service Provider Software version:
SAOMC_SM-G990U1_OYM_TFN_12_0010
TFN/TFN,TFN/XAA
Any suggestions on next steps?
Thanks.
Hello, did you try a wipe cache partition from recovery mode ?
That's the first thing I do if I have problem after a system update...

Thanks for the suggestion! I did not try that.
try this procedure and if it doesn't work you can try flashing a stock rom via odin (with Home_csc_xxx file to keep user data)
I'm having a problem with my OnePlus 11 NA version. The phone showed 5GHz WiFi network for just 2 seconds then it disappeared totally. Also Hotspot settings doesn't show the option to use 5GHz WiFi. My other devices have a stable connections to the same WiFi network on my other phone, Laptop and TV with no problems at all. [I have 5GHz WiFi with WiFi 6 option enabled]
I tried the following:
- Resetting Network settings
- Resetting phone, formatting userdata, fastboot -w
- Reflashing firmware in Fastbbot Enhance, and formatting the phone again
- Changing network channel from the router's gateway settings
- Changing country location
Nothing worked so far. Please help me becasue 2.4GHz WiFi is very slow in transfering data between my local devices.
is there anyway to fix this issue?
