I am using the Moto G 2015 (Osprey) build of LineageOS with MicroG bundle and whenever I use the keyboard there seems to be a slight vibrate on tap permanently on. I have tried toggling the actual 'Vibrate on tap' setting under 'Sound/Other sounds' but is the same whether on or off. This wasn't happening under the original stock Android the phone came with so I can only think it is a bug in LineageOS. Has anyone else experienced this or know of a solution?
I am using the 10/03/2018 build and was previously using the 10/02/2018 one, same issue in both.

I don't have this device but, your best bet is to post this question within the following Official LineageOS thread for your device.

I've discovered when ZF2 is connected to USB (to PC), then LED doesn't display any notification. It always stay orange or green depending on charge status.
When ZF2 is not connected to USB, then LED blinks upon notifications well.
Does everyone have the same LED behavior?

Yes, I am having the same issue and noticed it a time ago...but then forgot about it. I see you also posted the issue on the ZenTalk forums. I was pretty sure it was a software problem.

Yep, after i've got idiotic answer on Zentalk from supposed to be ASUS official, i've decided to ask on this forum.
As a software developer i'm sure this is bug in Android framework due to ASUS customization.
I'm using Xposed module GravityBox where i can switch off the charging LED notification. If i switch it off, then notification LED works fine even when connected to USB, but of course if there is no notification, it doesn't display charge status.
Not sure how it would be hard to fix this issue through xposed, but according to ASUS answer on Zentalk, they are not going to fix this problem.
Users who think it's important, please write that you have this issue as well here: http://www.asus.com/zentalk/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=7660
May be then they will fix it.
Another weird behavior for notifications. SMS messenger uses default notification sound. It means, if i set specific sound for SMS, then many other notifications (for example OTA Software Update) will also use this sound.

Weird. I'll try this myself. I guess there is a new WW update coming soon (as CN received: CN_2.16.40.10) - http://www.asus.com/Phones/ZenFone_2_ZE551ML/HelpDesk_Download/ - we'll wait and see.
Until then, I have to go with my phone to a service . My softkeys have stopped working properly. http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/help/soft-keys-anymore-t3103011

Ditto on the default notification sound. I have gone crazy trying to change it. Short of installing a 3rd party SMS app, I don't see a fix. Annoying, but loving the phone otherwise.

Hi guys. I've been experimenting with lineageos the last few weeks and I love it. The only problem I faced is that suddenly when I call someone or receive a call the pitch is crazy. I heard them so low pitched and they hear me like a smurf, very high pitched. First I thought it had something to do with a bad flash, so I reflashed the rom and the gapps and it wordked. But then started happening again, so I tried google phone app, and it fixed it... for a few hours. This is a serious problem and I don't know why it's happening nor i've found any information about it. I don't want to go back to stock rom. Anyone experienced something similar or might know what is happening? I'm using Lineageos 14.1 on a Huawei P8 lite.

Though, there's no Official release of the LineageOS for the Huawei P8 Lite, there is an Unofficial release on the following thread.

Your best bet is to search/post within that thread since it's regarding the same ROM for the same device.

Good Afternoon,
I have noticed a problem with my Zuk Z2 and I want to ask if anyone else is facing it.
Every now and then, especially when typing with keyboards, the vibration completely disappear from the phone (vibrate on touch, vibration when unlocking, ecc. ecc.) and then after some times, after locking and unlocking the screen few times, the vibration returns to work properly.
This is not due to any rom because I experienced this problem with almost all the custom roms posted on XDA, also on ZUI official builds this problem is present.
Is anybody else facing this problem?

As far as I know there is an apparent problem with gboard on all z2 plus devices. Maybe that's what is causing this problem [emoji848]

Thank you for this tip!
Do you have this problem? Which keyboard are you using?
I have tried a different keyboard but unfortunately the problem still persists
TBH I really don't have the phone. I just read it somewhere on the zukfans forum. So I suggest that you post there or wait for someone else !

I have tried to gather information about this error but apparently nobody knows anything.
I have tried multiple keyboards without success, I have tried to install the keyboards as system apps but also in this case the problem persists.
I have even tried to reinstall old and new ZUI chinese builds (1.9.063, 3.1.117 up to the latest 3.5.261) via QFIL, hoping that a deep factory reset would have solve it but every attempt was unsuccessful.
Probably this is an hardware problem and I don't know if can be fixed.
If anybody has any idea, feel free to suggest.
I have this problem too
All I can confirm that this isn't due to the rom or kernel (RR 5.8.4 + Darkmoon 4.001)
because the exact same combo never had this bug before. After a clean wipe, and subsequent restoration from TWRP backup & installation of updated GApps, this bug has infected my phone. Also, what I've noticed is that this bug only happens when we're typing, not at random (for example, when it is locked or viewing media or playing music or scrolling feed)
Also, apparently from the same time, the phone tends to heat up lot and drain it's battery much more quickly.
That's all I observed, let me know if that helped anyone
It might be a problem with any of the system level google processes on the phone as far as I can guess.
Hello guys,
I have encountered this 9-0022 kernel wakelock ever since I purchased this Pixel XL, and it keeps my device awake all the time.
It persists no matter how many times I factory reset or flashed a different factory image.
Google shows no answer of what it is and how to block it.
Has anyone faced this problem?
Android version: 8.1.0 April, Stock
Purchase Ex Kernel manager and turn that wakeloke off threw kernel using that app

You flash stock firmware, roms etc and reset, and problem persists? Have you considered that there's no feasible way to remedy this? As in, your phone has defective hardware?
Otherwise, it would have to be a phone hacked by CIA with custom hardware that is impervious to resets and firmware flashes.
Think about it...
Contact google and there pretty easy going and will go out of there way replace phone.Ive went threw 5 pixel and every time they have jump threw hoops to make me happy.Phone returned 3-5 days every time.
Maybe it's malware!?

That could probably right.
At first, my device kept showing a persistent notification "USB Supplying Power to attached device",
And I could not charge my device unless I reboot (then it will appear again later).
I googled & figured some people had the same problem and got it solved by cleaning the charging port
on the phone so I did the same.
It stills show up time after time, but now I can choose to "charge this device" from the popup & charge fine.
But the kernel wakelock, which I believe belongs to usb otg or something like that, still keeps my device awake 100% of the time, and drain the battery.

Appreciate your help.
Unfortunately, I live in a country where Google isn't available, and purchased this device from private vendor,
so there's no way I can RMA this now.

Maybe not.
It happens no matter what rom, kernel I'm on.
Since I had the persistent "USB Supplying Power to attached device" time after time,
it's likely that wakelock thinks I'm plugging something into the usb port all the time,
and keeps my devices awake.
I've cleaned the port with tooth pick, some alcohol & air duster but the wakelock hasn't gone away.
Caused by USB I've seen before in BBS thread, I think it's due to a poor USB port on the device contact Google to see your options
I agree @liam_davenport. I did a little digging through some xda threads and people claimed they had that wakelock if they plugged their phone in wrong, do to the USB port being sloppy. There is also something in our device tree called "tcpm logging" that is related to that number, doing a little research now to see what it is/does.
let me talk to my cousin,he works at google.Let me throw problem at him

I've only heard of this problem with people running Android P preview2. It seems using the finger unlock on back of phone, some people tap it when the screen begings to dim and taping fingerprint brightens screen. But what I was thinking, that doing that even without preview2 might cause similar effect.
So you could try disabling that feature might help. It seems that their connected somehow.

Hi ,
After installing Paranoid android 10 to one puls 3t 4g is not working for making calls, kindly let me know anything needs to update
Hi, same problem here. Is there any solution or should I switch to other room-s?
Thank god, atleast some one brought up this issue.
Even I am experiencing the same issue in my Oneplus 3T after installing Quartz 5 update. Not able to make Jio 4g calls.
I have some more issue also
- Notification light isnt working for notifications but working for low battery warning.
- Auto brightness isnt working. Have to manually set the brightness every time.
Please escalate this issue to the Paranoid Android team somehow. And for the time being I will be reverting back to Quartz 4. I thought of switching to Lineage OS but right now I cant afford to clean format my phone as this is my primary device.
Thanks.

All in vain.
