Can I download to SD card on Galaxy Tab S? - Galaxy Tab S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm using a Galaxy Tab S 8.4" with Marshmallow 6.0.1 and can't for the life of me figure out how to change the default download location to the SD card. I'd also like to format it as internal but can't find that either. Any help here will be greatly appreciated.

have you tried just using the file manager on the phone? or ES file manager? just manually move what you need, careful with apps some dont play nice with ext, sd. usually in app settings there is an option to move apps.

[Q] Carbon 4.3.1 Mount Question

Hey,
I'm running Carbon-JB-Nightly-20131019-0407 on my Galaxy S4 and I was wondering how to swap the mounts for Internal Storage and External SD? I recently upgraded from a Galaxy S2, and on that you could just go to /system/etc/vold and edit the file to switch the mounting points... but the nightly for the S4 doesnt even have a "vold" file in /system/etc.
Help please?????
try an app

I'm not sure if it will help or work, but there is an app on play store that says it will swap external and internal memory.

[Q] tab 3 (T210) - playstore to ExtSHoping someone can help

hoping someone can help. I have a tab 3 T210 running 4.4.2. Its rooted. I wanted to know if theres a way to set apps/games downloaded from playstore direct to ext sd card. Internal memory is small and fills up. I have a 32gb ext sd card and want to use it. already used folder mount to improve it. But hope a way to download direct to ext sd to save more space
1. Wrong category.
2. Nope there isnt a way. The best way is FolderMount really.
Folder mount is great for storing the files on yr extSdcard and able to save space, ive used it for years..
Try Apps2Sd or
Links2sd
I think these are what your looking for

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016 (10.1, Wi-Fi) SD card internal or external storage.

Hello
I have this new Galaxy Tab A 2016 (10.1, Wi-Fi) with Android 6.0.1 and update with the latest original firmware.
I read that the new Marshmellow has an option that lets you choose whether to use the SD Card as internal or external storage.
I inserted a new micro SD Card with 64 GB , as the internal memory is only 16 GB, but nothing happened, and I cannot see anywhere, how to use this option.
The SD Card has been formatted by the tablet but it is seen as external.
Any help without root or other custom rom?
At least on my CyanogenMod custom rom (marshmallow), you have to go to "Storage & USB" (or maybe just storage). Click on menu at top right. If not, click on SD card. Find menu at top right and press "Settings" and then "Format as internal" (or try something like this).
Check this website first: howtogeek.com/242937/how-to-set-up-a-new-sd-card-in-android-for-extra-storage/
Hope this helps!
Just asking, why is this in Galaxy Tab 3 Help and Troubleshooting?
Disabled by Samsung.
There are ways to enable it on a rooted device.
Unfortunately yours cannot be.
