XAR is the US version, there are two on the list, the one towards the top is the most recent version.

The last version on my Note was: Galaxy Note 8.0 (WIFI) GT-N5110 XAR N5110UECMCA - Android 4.1.2- 29.03.2013 1061040
This was just updated today to the N5110UEDMD1.

[Q] Urgent Help for Mystery Download

hi guys.today my phone, rooted by rootkit, model number ASUS_Z00AD , build number LRX21V.WW-ASUS_Z00A-2.19.40.22_20150627_5104 downloaded a mystery zip file automatically but the problem is i do not know what it is so i kindly request senior members to take a look at it.i uploaded the zip to drive whose link is https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByVE4nDVVCeISWM1cWlrNlJFUXc/view?usp=sharing thanks in advance

That would be an OTA.
That's the 550 OTA for 40.12 to 40.13. You may want to recheck your version.

thanks but as much i know i am already on latest firmware.how to recheck my version ? and if it is ota why it did not ask me whether i wanna install it or not ? and why only me received it ?

That is the OTA update for the 550ML version, Z008, not the 551ML, Z00AD version...
Harfainx meant you better check the model you have, not the firmware...

okay understood but lol i have phone in my hand right now and it is 551ML, Z00AD version..my guess is asus servers went crazy and sent me wrong zip ha ha

OTA update today - how to install on rooted H815?

I just got an OTA update notification on my UK H815, but if I try to install it I just get bounced into TWRP recovery. The update is v20I-JAN-24-2017.
Has anyone else in the UK had an update today, and does anyone know how/if it can be installed if rooted and bootloader unlocked? I'm currently running build no MRA58K = V20g-234-15

no the latest official will not work. my latest beta should.
signatures will not be displayed in android apps... Please use a browser to see it .. :crying:

Oh..I just realize when I write with xdalabs app my signature will not be shown.. Even when open it in the browser .. Sorry for any inconvenience:

Thanks for the link. FYI I installed the app, selected the H815 from the device list, and got "failed to fetch data from server". I'll download the IMG file manually and do the update from TWRP

Uh-oh....so now when I try to boot into recovery I get the dead Android picture with the red triangle. What's the best way to get back to a working recovery mode?

1. Read the installation procedure of the link I gave you
2. I said you should install my latest BETA not the official one.. the app will show official only so it will not fix OTA update issue.

I bought it refurbished from MusicMagpie but there's a Vodafone splash screen when it boots so it looks like a carrier phone.

Is twrp regional specific?

yes twrp is same for both china and global versions. Download official twrp from here https://twrp.me/xiaomi/xiaomiredminote8.html if in Europe download Europe one . For every other region download the Americas one.

LG Wing 5g (LM-F100TMW) Dual Sim Variant

Hi! I need some info on how will i be able to find the correct kmz or firmware for this variant. As what the title says, it is a LM-F100TMW with Android version 11.
When i try to check via IMEI on LGROM, it says that i am using a LM-F100EMW variant from TAIWAN or TWN. I already downloaded the recommended firmware from that website but I'm still not sure if it is the right one.
Just needed to make sure, you know? Haha! Thanks!

If it's not the correct firmware,LGUP will give you an error saying you can't swap firmware from region_x to region_z as an example.

Got it to patch from android 11 to 12 using the said firmware recommended from LGROM. Also, thank you @Surgemanxx for the help.
Now I'm wondering when will be the Android 13 Firmware be available on LGROM. Haha!

Please help me to update to android 12 , I'm still in android 10. Thanks in advance.

All variants have A13 I have seen.My 2 do,and they're U.S. carrier devices.
