You have lot of options.
IMO I am using AEX 5.2 rooted with stock kernel and helix engine to balance battery and performance.
Enjoying my experience. No lags anywhere and able to get 6 and half hours of SOT.
Thanks,

Yes. You can download it from one plus forums. It does a really good job. It's an accessibility service like greenify. But it implements the dynamic control of cpu profiles.
Helps me get more SOT and giving me a good control whenever I need more performance.
You should definitely try it out

My suggestions
Nougat-Miui 9,h2os,viperos
Oreo-aex, pixelexperience, basically most Oreo roms are similar in terms of performance and battery, have charging issues, not as stable and bug less as nougat ones.

jaguar os

BootleggersROM very stable

I would also recommend bootleggers ROM. I am using it as my daily driver and I am immensely satisfied with it. I highly recommend to you this ROM.

Which rom to choose? | Nougat 7.1.1 | Oneplus 3

Hello Guys!
Like title i am asking you which rom for Oneplus 3 is better (Nougat 7.1.1)? I would like to find a rom without call echo but with good battery and performance.
Thanks for all answers and peace
AOSIP/AOSCP have really good battery but have really bad camera
You also can read the AKT topic. Then there are several kernel tweaks for battery performance. With a lot of using YouTube, surfing on internet, and some game apps (most likely chess and checkers) I get a screen on time for about 7hours. And then still got 5 to 20% over before I charge it again.

Vertex OS + Render kernal T19 (look in his thread). Mainly because I runs EAS (Energy aware scheduling). It is smooth as butter while maintaining max efficiency.
If you are looking for customization plus battery go with any resurrection remix rom and then install akt app and use profile fairpark... You will get around 8hr sot... Telling from experience
What's the main differences between 7.0 and 7.1?

You can see this in this link.
https://www.google.si/amp/www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/google-android-nougat-7-1/amp/?client=ms-unknown
prefer OOS w/ mods over Lineage/RR due to camera performance/quality
There is nothing as the best/ better ROMs. They are more like user preference and opinion, one may agree with them some other won't. So the best way is to try all of these ROMs yourself, test it according to your needs. Who knows you may like the one which no one mentioned? I think you could use the time you have spent to create a thread and test them yourself.

I guess there will be stuttering here n there?
I like Vertex OS + Render EAS kernal! Most efficient combination that is possible so far due to EAS! It's smooth as butter aswell!

I didnt mention it really, or it wasn't bother me. There is also a battery extreme profile and with that profile I has some legs. But with the one in the post above it was quite good with the battery life and performance.

Which one is a better rom jaguar or viper os?

I'm quite confused between the two, jaguar or viper os?
Use jaguar.. Viper isn't updated to the latest patches

Jaguar focuses on security that's the main difference... but now viper is also updated to the latest... and performing well.. so i would say to go for viper now

This are two completly diffrent ROM's so there are many differences in both.
Jaguar will recive updates in the future and the dev will continue to work on with Nougat for a few months atleast.
The Viper OS ROM already had its last nougat update, which iirc still contains some bugs.
Viper is based on Lineage using the Heliox Kernel and Jaguar is based on AOSP while using its own Kernel.
You need to check which ROM fits YOUR needs and decide which one you are going to use.

Jaguar focusses on safety
The ROM is quite smooth however I always face heating issues when doing some heavy tasks and battery life is not that good for me. I use gapps.

Go for jaguar then, it has the best performance i've seen (it's overclocked by default and works very well with it, besides boost framework) and it's very stable. I can't tell you about battery life, but most of the people say it's good. And the dev is very active and gives a lot of support, and won't stop developing it afaik.
This is just my personal opinion, you should try for yourself and take your conclusions.

VIPER for simplicity and long battery life. Personally will suggest Viper
I am currently using viper and used jaguar before. Personally i feel VIPER is lot better in the battery section, simplicity and overall performance.
It's stable and smooth.
Viper OS is Goood
Viper OS has good battery life and Performance.
It also has a lot of customizations.
It doesn't lag at all. I didn't benchmarked it but , I am playing Shadow fight 3 at high graphics very smoothly.
And for battery , I am getting around 6-7hrs of Screen on time.
thank you a lot guys

Jaguar antutu with stock kernel 174k
However antutu scores shouldn't be used to judge ROMs.
how the hell did you get 173k ? i rarely get above 140K with AEX 5.2 (which is a respectable score for a SD820)

What is Jaguar, a rom or a kernel? Do you have the link?
Best rom for pubg? I am on PE and getting about 3.5 hours of sot while playing pubg. But the idle drainage is very huge. Any alternative??
Jaguar is definitely a good ROM . Almost better than every ROM out there. PUBG works smooth on it at temps around 55-60C but as of now VoLTE is broken on jaguar and DEV is trying his best to come up with a FIX .I would suggest BootLeggers as an alternative Antutu Score around 162K PUBG works smooth as well.

I'm on DoTOS and it's really good; playing PUBG on highest possible settings very smoothly and on top of that it's probably the best looking rom out there
Jaguar is the best performance ROM for zuk z2
Dotos initially very good but later gets worse
Jaguar oreo best rom ever
Citrus caf fastest and best nougat ROM
I'm saying after trying a lot roms
Testing then for several days and not hours
best sot for zuk 2 plus

Plz don't focus on battery backup focus on performance
If u want is battery backup go for h2os
In citrus it's around 11%
In Jaguar 16-18% in very high settings like HDR and 60fps with anti aliasing and shadows enabled with 2k custom resolution
That too no lags moderate heating
Most of the roms have an avg battery drain of 14%
Try Lineage Rom 15.1 by Augustin it seems stable on me no lags Even HD reso and even in other games. I've just waiting the June updates. I just customize the sounds.

Well best kernel for tweaking is nameless kernel with akt on treble roms
For non treble roms use heliox kernel 2.0 with akt
Use ghostpepper profile of akt usually for gaming
Use xana battery if u want battery
Flash akt via twrp
Download terminal emulator from play store
Type su command and then AKT then chose profile
Search for akt 1.6 in other z2 threads I have uploaded in many threads
Due to network error I'm unable to upload it here
Pls suggest some good ROM for pubg
I was using bootleggers 3 it was really good
Great performance
Suggest
Some speedest ROM
Plz
My choices aosip arrow pie dotos
Any other suggestions plz

PIE Rom recommendations

Hello guys, I have recently fixed my zuk z2, and I am a little behind the new custom roms based on pie. Can anyone help me with some information about them and with a revomandation. I would prefer something stable and fluid.
I'd suggest Arrow pie and aosip pie. They both rock. However aosip has less customisation options available

Bootleggers is also excellent in battery life.. it also has lots of customisations. On the other hand Arrow OS and AEX is also very good... With Arrow OS getting faster updates (weekly)

If you want fluidity and smoothness without any animation shuttering then go with pixysos. Its buttery smooth like I'm using any pixel device. Battery is also decent. I'm in love with pisysos.

Pie rom with good battery life??
Also lineage 16 very good
AEX the best rom for our device no one can beat AEX.
MSM extended with lots of customisation that no one can beat
Try Aosip & Aex 6.x
I personally like Both ROMs are very stable giving great battery backup in compared to all other pie ROMs available right now both gives 5-6 hrs of SOT and They are quite good in pubg but they slightly lag sometimes (I have the stable wifi connection ) but the gaming was decent it gives 3-3.5 hrs of continues gaming ?? With nameless kernel

No hassle of custom kernels. 3.5-4 hours SOT with heavy gaming. Inculing pubg and clash Royale.
