Hi, what is the difference between Whyred and Treble devs? Are both RN5 Snapdragon 636 related? I'am so sorry about my english.
whyred is device and treble is android feature. you are confusing hardware and software. treble is not a device
Last time i checked, ( 10 minutes before posting this), The specs for Mi A2 Lite and Redmi 6 pro are totally the same, except the network bands. We can even assume that Redmi 6 pro is just rebranded version of Mi A2 Lite for India (and some other countries where they are being sold, if any). So, is it at all possible to flash that Android one directly into Redmi 6 pro, or do we need to make some modifications to the package.
Another short question...(as am a newbie and i would like the community to push my knowledge limit a little further). Is it at all possible to flash android one on to any other phone, whatever the specs maybe(same and different).
Edit - I found some interesting facts - Mi A2 Lite is indeed the Global version of Redmi 6 pro
- Redmi 6 pro uses a classic partitioning system while A2 lite uses the A/B system. So direct flashing the stock android one rom will brick it.
New questions - is there any ways to change the partition system from one to the other?
is there some way, we 'stock rom' lust hounds get a hand on it using this 6 pro?
And did you think about the notch?
Mi a2 rom
Did it work
Jay: Did you try A2 or A2 Lite?

Basically you can't flash Android one version of daisy on sakura. You can port android one for sakura or install a previous one which is ported and almost works fine.

Hey! I've been thinking the same thing, and I've tinkered around the fastboot stock images for both the A2 Lite and the 6 Pro. The stock image for Daisy contains a img named "partition" and I think this is what makes the A/B partition in the phone. I haven't tried it, But I'm think of doing it. editing all the flash_all.sh files in the Android One ROM from the A2 Lite, i.e replacing all codename "daisy" with "sakura" so it doesn't throw a invalid device error. I'll update

Hello, I have a Redmi Note 8 and I want to know how can I change the EXT4 storage format to F2FS.
And also to know if Pixel Experience can be installed in F2FS

i remember seeing options about partition FS in orangeFox recovery, but i suggest you to not mess with it
Thanks
Poco F3 supports A/B partitions. Does it support dual boot on the A / B partition as in some of the oneplus devices? Or does it support dynamic partition for dual boot?
Yeah. That's would be nice.
We have a lot of storage now and why not have multiple android versions on it!
Just this question.
No, I don't think so because the phones can dual boot are on A/B partitions (like using GSI side-by-side with ROM), but the Redmi Note 8 Pro is a single partition device.
